Stiles
▸ Can't Live Without - Hollyn
"Stiles." I said again. He just stood there. Then he started to walk our way. My smile widened. Stiles was running towards us. "Stiles. Keep going. I can see you, Stiles, don't stop!"
"Nevah?" I faintly heard him. I held out my hand, hoping that he would reach out for it. Then the light started to fade.
"No. No, no. Stiles." I took a step forward. Scott and Malia held me back. The light went away. And so did Stiles. "Stiles come back. Stiles!"
"Nevah..." Scott softly said behind me.
"Where is he?" I muttered, tears starting to pool in my eyes. I turned to face my friends. "It was working. You saw him, right?"
"We didn't see anyone." Malia shook her head.
"No." I turned back towards the tunnel, shaking my head. "He was here. I know it. Guys, Stiles was here."
Lydia sent me a small smile and squeezed my arm. Scott and Malia led me back in to the bunker. Why didn't they see him? Why was I the only one who saw and heard him? Scott gave me a sad smile before he went to close the door. Liam ran out of nowhere and stopped the door from closing.
"Liam..." Scott looked at him in shock.
"There's something you need to see." Liam panted out.
"You're still here."
"But everyone else is gone. All of them. They're all gone." Liam informed us. I closed my eyes, squeezing them shut. We're the last ones, and we're next. "Look, you have to come with me."
"What is it?" Scott eagerly asked.
"I can't explain it. I have to show you." Liam started to back away. Scott turned to face us.
"Uh, all right. You guys stay here. Just in case."
"What? No, Scott! I saw him! Stiles has to be out there somewhere." I went forward.
"Just in case. In case Stiles comes back?" Malia questioned.
"Nevah, you have to stay here. If there's any hope, you need to keep trying." With that Scott left with Liam. He closed the bunker door behind him, leaving us three girls in the room. I huffed, crossing my arms as I glared at the door. Ok, fine then McCall. I'll just wait until you leave to go find him. When a few minutes passed by, I went to the bunker door and started to open in it.
"What are you doing?" Lydia asked.
"We're gonna go find Stiles." Malia walked over to me, giving me a nod. I sent her a thankful smile.
"Scott told us to stay in case he shows up here." Lydia informed.
"And since when have I ever listened?" I perked an eyebrow.
"Stiles isn't coming here. If he was, he would've, and he hasn't, so he's not." Malia turned to face me. "You still think it worked, right?"
"I know I saw him." I nodded my head.
"And Nevah never wrong about these things." Malia pointed out.
"Uh, I wouldn't say never." I winced, scratching the back of my neck.
"But right now?"
"Right now, I'm not wrong. Stiles is out there. I can feel it."
"Are you sure?" Lydia bit her lip.
"I'm positive it. Look, if you guys want to stay here and wait for him, then fine. Go ahead. But I'm going out there to look for my boyfriend." I started to walk out the door.
"Then what are we doing standing here?" I heard Malia loudly ask Lydia.

As soon as I left the bunker, I ran to the area where I thought Stiles would appear. When I arrived at the school parking lot, Malia and Lydia got out of their car. I looked at them with furrowed eyebrows. How did they know I was going to start here?
"We figured the first thing you would want to check was his Jeep." Lydia smiled, closing the door of her car.
"And we were right." Malia grinned.
"Then let's go see his Jeep." I said. We went back to the parking space Stiles had parked his Jeep long ago. My eyes widened as I saw that it was empty. There were tire marks on the asphalt. "He really is here."
"This looks fresh." Lydia kneeled down next to the marks, touching them.
"It's from Stiles' Jeep. It must have just left." Malia stated.
"Without his keys?" Lydia looked up at us.
"Well, half the time he got it started with a screwdriver." I shrugged, a cheesy grin playing on my lips.
"Then he's here. We have to tell Scott." Lydia told us. Malia stared straight ahead with wide eyes.
"What?" I turned to face her before looking in the direction she was in.
"We should probably tell Scott about that, too." Malia gently helped Lydia stand up. My mouth dropped at the sight in front of us. There were rail road tracks leading to the school. We walked up to them, standing next to the high school sign.
"Well," I started. Malia and Lydia turned to face me. "Let's follow our yellow brick road then."
"Stop, don't." Malia scrunched up her nose and shook her head.
"What? I thought it would lighten up the mood." I said in defense.
"It didn't." Malia walked ahead, following the tracks. I looked at Lydia.
"She's right." Lydia tilted her head, sending me a small smile. She followed after Malia.
"You guys have no sense of humor!" I exasperated, throwing my hands up into the air. Grumbling in Ancient Greek, I stomped after them. The tracks ended up passing the library. Malia stopped and got off the tracks. She opened the doors. Following her, I entered the building. I stopped when I saw what was in there. It seemed as if someone took the inside of a train station and put it inside the library.
"Why is there a train station in the middle of the library?" Malia asked, taking note of the people in here. We walked into the building.
"I have a feeling that it's nothing good." I mumbled, looking around.
"There's also a train station in the Wild Hunt." Lydia faced us.
"Well Styx."
"Any chance they're connected?" Malia glanced back at the people.
"I would say high." Lydia walked ahead. "Like one hundred percent."
"So what does this mean?" I started to walk around, Malia following Lydia.
"If there's a train station," Malia stopped, looking back at the library doors, "then there's probably a train."
"And if there's a train-"
"It's going to the Wild Hunt." I finished Lydia's sentence. She nodded. "They're all gonna be taken."
"They can't get on that train." Lydia shook her head.
"Um..." Malia tucked some hair behind her ear as she walked towards the center of the building. She started to yell the next sentences. "Okay. Listen up, everybody. We've all got to get out of here. We gotta go right now. It's bad, we have to go!"
"They aren't listening." I whispered. The people were either blankly staring ahead or reading some sort of book or article.
"Hello?" Lydia yelled into someone's face. She snapped her fingers. Nothing.
"Guys." I tried to stop them.
"Uh, hello? Sir?" Malia waved her hand in front of another person's face.
"Guys!" Lydia and Malia looked at me. "They can't hear us. It's like they're in some sort of trance."
"How do we get them to leave if they can't hear us?" Malia asked.
"Uh..." Lydia looked around. She froze as she saw someone. I followed her gaze. "Maybe there's someone who can."
"Peter." I said. Malia walked next to me. She looked at him in shock. Peter was reading a newspaper on the bench. Clenching her jaw, Malia went towards Peter.
"Peter!" She screamed into his face. Nothing. "Peter!"
"Try slapping him?" I offered. Malia nodded, tilting her head. She turned towards him and slapped his face. Once again, nothing.
"Malia." Lydia said.
"What?" Malia waved her hand in front of his face. She then went to snapping her fingers under his nose.
"The only way we were able to break through the Hunt is with an emotional connection."
"Dang. Wish I could help." Malia sighed. Lydia and I glanced at each other before looking at Malia. "I'm not saying it. I'm not saying it."
"Okay," Lydia turned around. She started to walk away, a smirk tugging on her lips. "Well, I guess everyone dies."
"Dad." Malia sighed. I held out a fist bump towards Lydia. Rolling her eyes, she pounded her fist against mine. "Dad. Dad."
"Say it like you mean it." Lydia told the werecoyote. Malia licked her lips before she kneeled in front of Peter.
"Dad. Please wake up. Dad." Malia looked up at him. Peter slowly started to look away from the newspaper before dropping it to the ground. Malia looked at us with a smile as she stood up. Peter got off of the bench, looking at Malia. Her eyes started to water.
"We need your help." I anxiously licked my lips, hating to break their moment. Peter faced me with an arched brow. "The worlds somehow merged and everyone is going to be erased. Taken. Whatever you want to call it. We need your help to stop the people from getting on that train."
"Attention, all passengers, the train will be arriving in 12 minutes." A voice came over the intercom. The people got up off of their feet and started to herd towards the doors.
"Me? You want me to stop them?" Peter turned to face the people before facing us again. "You know how many there are?"
"Yeah. A lot of them." Malia reached out for his arm. "So get going."
"There are hundreds of waiting rooms in this train station which apparently now also serves as a high school library." Peter informed us as he started to walk around the library. We followed after him. "It's impossible."
"We can try." Malia hoped.
"Where do you get this implausible optimism?" Peter stared at Malia.
"Definitely not from my father." Malia replied.
"We don't have time for this." I interrupted them.
"We need someone to just hear us." Lydia added. Malia stopped in front of us as the doors flew open. Wind blew leaves into the building.
"I think we already did." Peter stated.
"Great." I muttered, glaring at the Ghost Rider. I pressed my charm. The people stared wide eyed at the Ghost Rider, taking a step back. He flicked his coat back, showing off his gun and whip. Malia growled, her eyes glowing blue.
"Get behind me." Lydia instructed us, tugging Malia and I behind her. "They won't take a Banshee."
"You sure about that?" Peter walked past us, heading towards the Ghost Rider. The Ghost Rider got his whip out and lashed it towards Peter. Lydia started to push us back as Peter fought the Ghost Rider. Peter slashed at the Ghost Rider, his hand going straight through him.
"Oh no. That's not good." I anxiously fiddled with my sword. Peter tried two more times only to fail. He gave the Ghost Rider a nervous smile as he started to back away. The people were screaming and running around. "Come on, let's go-oh"
A Ghost Rider was in front of us, already thrashed his whip at us. Malia pushed Lydia and I out of the way. The whip slashed at Malia's arm, a small puff of green smoke escaping the wound. She let out a cry.
"Malia!" Peter yelled from the other side of the library. He rushed towards her, gently grabbing her and pushing her towards Lydia and I. "Lydia."
I carefully steadied Malia. She winced in pain, clutching her wound. The Ghost Riders started walking towards Peter. Peter ran towards the one that slashed Malia. He pressed his hand on one of the benches and jumped, his feet hitting the Ghost Rider in the chest. The Ghost Rider fell backwards onto the stairs.
"He did it." Malia said in awe. Peter ran towards him, only for the Ghost Rider to kick him back. Getting up, the Ghost Rider went towards Peter. Peter jumped up onto his feet and shoved the Ghost Rider towards the other only to be pushed aside. The Ghost Rider belted his whip towards Peter. He dodged it, kneeing the Ghost Rider in the gut. Peter got the Ghost Rider into a head lock. The Ghost Rider grabbed Peter's arms and threw him over his shoulder. Dazed, Peter shook his head. The other Ghost Rider grabbed his shirt and lifted him up.
"Malia, go." Peter yelled. Grabbing a hold of Malia, Lydia and I ran towards the doors. Malia got out of my grasp and turned to face her dad.
"Go! Nevah, go find Stiles." Malia urged me.
"But Malia-"
"Shut up and go! You have to find him." Malia shoved me out the door before going into to help Peter. I stumbled out, Lydia catching me.
"C'mon. Let's go look for him." Lydia tugged me towards the school. We ran inside the building, looking inside of rooms. "If we split up, we can cover more ground and find him faster."
"Lydia, are you sure?" I grabbed her arm and stopped her. She turned to face me.
"I can protect myself. I have one hell of a scream." Lydia stated. I nervously wet my lips. "I will be fine. Now come on. We can't waste any more time."
"Okay," I started to walk away, "be careful."
"You too." Lydia nodded before running the other way. Taking in a deep breath I ran down the hallway, peeking into the rooms. I groaned in frustration. Where is he?"
"Damn it!" I heard a familiar person yell. "Scott, I can't fight this guy."
