Sonic's P.O.V.
Finally, I was going to show him how I felt, even though it hurt me a lot to see him cry, to see in how much pain he was.

No, this is his fault.

"You can't do anything! Didn't you hear!? I! HATE! YOU! You lost your chance you... You TRAITOR!!  You BASTARD!! You PLAYER!!" I shouted as Dark was trying to take over.

"Sonic! Calm down! Please!" Tails ran to me when I fell on the floor shaking.

"I-I'm... F-fine..." I coughed and groaned loudly in pain. I tried to stand up, the pain in my body getting worse. "I-I just need him out of here..." I looked up at the bed that Shadow was, but he wasn't there.

My vision got blurry but I ignored it and stood up, when I felt two strong arms hold me and putting me on the bed.

"Don't touch me!" I roughly pushed Shadow's hands away, I knew it was him, no one else was in the room.

"Stop it Faker!" I was pushed down on the bed by Shadow and my hands were pinned next to my head. "It wasn't me!! It was an illusion!" He snapped at me.

"Illusion my ass! It was clearly you!" I tried kicking him away, but my leg hit him right on the cut.

He quickly let go of me and fell on the floor as he shouted in pain. "AH!!"

I dropped my ears and quickly sat up, knowing that I messed up badly. "Shadow! I'm so sorry!"

"Rouge! Call the nurse!" Tails said and ran to Shadow, who was growling lowly as he tried to stay awake.

My heart stopped when I saw the blood dripping from his bandages. "Sh-Shadow...! Hold on...!" I stuttered as I helped Tails to pick up Shadow and put him on the bed, my hands started shaking.

I didn't want to kill him! Sure, I was mad at him, but that didn't mean that I wanted him dead!

I was suddenly pulled back pushed to lay on the bed by the nurse. "Everyone! Out!" She shouted and pointed at the door as the doctors rushed to Shadow. She then looked at me and let's lightly glared at me, since she knew that I never listened and always tried to leave. "And you. We are taking you to the nearby room."

I quickly shook my head. "No! Please let me stay here!" I sat up and grabbed her hand. "Please! He's... He's my fiance..." I hesitated but I had to stay with Shadow. I still... Love him...

"I'm sorry, but I can't leave you here." The nurse said softly and moved my bed then walked to a room a few steps away from Shadow's. I stayed quiet and tried to hold the tears until she left me.

When she made sure I was okay and she warned me to stay here, she left, calling Rouge and Tails that they can come in the room with me.

I couldn't hold it anymore and broke down, so many things were going on, I didn't know what to do.

What if this is all a plan of his to make me fall for him again...? I don't want that, my heart won't take it.

The worst part is that I might have killed him, he was in so much pain before he even started talking to me, I can't even imagine how much pain I've caused him.

"Sonic...?" My ear flickered when I heard Tails. "Are you okay...?"
I didn't answer and continued crying, my mind going numb as I thought about what Shadow had said.

What did he mean by 'an illusion'? How could an illusion be so real? How can an 'illusion' be so real that it sends you to the hospital? There's no way it was just an illusion.
