Sonic's P.O.V.
I groaned and slowly woke up, I couldn't remember much but Shadow attacking me back out of anger for my words. "W-where am I...?" I groaned and slowly sat up. I looked around but my eyes landed on Shadow making me gasp and immediately growl. "You again?" I said coldly at him.

I saw him drop his ears and look down at his hands. I growled loudly and was going to stand up when my head started spinning and I felt like throwing up. I groaned and held my head in pain then laid down again slowly. "What the hell did you hit me with...?" I growled furiously as I held my head. It hurt.

"So you two were fighting...?" I heard Rouge and I looked at them. "Why were you two fighting...?"

"Yeah...Last time we saw you, you two were deeply in love with each other." Tails continued and I scoffed.

"Please, love him? More like hate. I can't believe I once had feelings for him." I snapped.

"I didn't do anything to you! I loved you! I really did!" Shadow snapped back at me.

"I am not falling for that again." I growled furiously. "Not for you again, not after what you did." I snarled, I had never been this mad without Dark before. 

"Sonic, please calm down or you know what will happen." Tails reminded me and I rubbed my face in pain and annoyance over him being here. "Will you two please explain, calmly, what happened?" 

"HE can tell you exactly what he did." I rolled my eyes not wanting to talk about it. 

"NO! You can tell them what YOU did! I cant believe you said all that stuff about Maria!" Shadow snapped. Rouge and Tails gasped knowing how sensible he was about her. 

"You-" Rouge was going to say something but Shadow cut her off as he sat up and looked at me even though I could clearly see he was in pain. 

"I saw you die! I saw you cheating with me with Rose! I saw Rouge betray me and send me to GUN to do this to me! You died right in front of my eyes...! I lost you...! I lost the one person I truly loved...!" His voice broke, I didnt know how to feel about this. 

"You didnt love me! You never did! You were just using me! You were just having FUN with me!" I growled at him as I sat up too ignoring how dizzy I felt. "You told me you did! You confessed that you were too bored and wanted to have some fun! That I was weak and easy to get! I am not going to fall for you ever again, FAKER." I panted from anger, my fur getting a dark color but I was calming it down. Tails and Rouge both looked at us shocked. 

Shadow's P.O.V. 
Is what Maria said true? Was it an illusion what I had seen about Sonic dying? Then does that mean he never cheated on me. I never said such things to him... Does that mean he also was seeing things? What is happening? Why are we going through this? Just when we were going to get married...

His words hurt me more like any punch or stab I had gone through. I could not believe he hated me this much for something I had never done. I couldnt find the words to convince him that it wasnt me. 

"I never told you that!" I shouted back at him. "I could never do that to you..." I let a tear roll down my muzzle. "Sonic you have to-" I was cut off as he growled furiously with tears streaming down his muzzle but he wasnt making any noise that he was crying. I dont think he noticed he was. 

"Stop! YOU were the one that attacked me! YOU were the one that teamed up with Eggman again! You were probably using me like your little toy for Eggman to kill me! You said it yourself! You just wanted to use me, to make me think I was safe and loved! All of this was Eggmans plan wasnt it?" He laughed as he let more tears roll down his muzzle. "You told me yourself that you could never love me, that I am pathetic to think that you actually loved me. Guess what?" He took out something from his quills, it was the ring. "I had thrown this away but I found it afterwards and grabbed it back because I wanted to make something clear to you." He threw the ring at me with all his force, by now I was crying and my ears were pinned down. "I hate you. I cant believe I almost got married to you, we will NEVER be a thing again no matter how much you tell me that it was a lie, or that it wasnt true or that you didnt mean it! I hate you! I HATE YOU SHADOW! And as soon as I am able to stand up, I will show you how much I mean that!" 

I was holding the ring with tears streaming down my eyes. 

"What... Do you want me to do... for you to believe me...?" I cried as I said that, Rouge and Tails were about to cry about what was going on as well. I had never been this hurt in my life, I had never imagined Sonic saying those things to me. 

'Maria... Help me... What do I do...? I dont want to lose him...' I cried as I looked at Sonic. 'I dont want to lose him...'
