I stood still in shock to see those two girls drift across the hallway. I walked forward. I looked the corner to see the pale faces walking back. But the girls hands were now covered in blood. "Umm excuse... me?" I squeaked. She glared at me unfriendly. "What." She said sternly. I noticed her grip tighten on the knives. "I was wondering if you cou-" "Look Princess." She interrupted. "I don't know who you think you are but I ain't doing your dirty work. I barely know you and I'm not in the mood for another bother, and trust me, you don't wanna bother me." She said confidently. She held up her knife. "This is what happens when you bother me." She moved the knife across her neck in a way to show "You Die" "I'm sorry." I responded. "But, I'm lost in these stupid tunnels and my boy- umm. Friend Dylan is hurt and he needs help." I said angrily. "I don't appreciate your tone. You're pretty feisty, I like it." She slightly grinned. "Lemme make a deal with you. I'll lead you partly to the nearest town here and then you never bother me again. Got that?" She said. I nodded. She grabbed my hand and we suddenly disappeared. We then showed up in a hallway with lights. "Here's some advice: Don't die." She started laughing hysterically and disappeared into nothing. She seemed like she was probably a nice person, on the inside. She was probably just a hard shell to crack open. I continued down the hallway with Dylan by my side. I was surprised Dylan said nothing. I turned. He was just being dragged on the floor. I panicked. I crouched down to look at him. His face was peaceful. I didn't let the thought that he was dead come into my mind. I picked him up and ran down the hallway. Suddenly there was a spark far ahead and I saw the girl pass through the wall. "Oh.. you.. again..." She said rolling her eyes. "Umm please wait!" "No! I don't like people.... Especially ones like you." she said glaring angrily and sorrowfully at me. "What do you mean girls like me?" I asked confused. "I don't like girls who are all perfect." She snapped. "I make mistakes... like everyone but... girls like you don't." She said fighting back tears. I had finally caught up to her. "Its ok... umm" "My name is Madeline." She snapped. "Its ok... Madeline." I responded. I was about to pay her on the back when the other girl swooped up towards me. "STAY AWAY MORTAL!" She shrieked at me. I stepped back. "Aria... Aria's right... you should stay away from me. Before..." She looked away and then walked through the wall with Aria by her side. I sighed. I still sat on the cold floor. "What... will... i.. do."
