"Kid slow down!" Ignis yells buckling himself in the passenger seat as Sebastian speeds down the streets.

"No! I have to get there!" Sebastian yells and pushes down on the gas, Ignis sighs and sits back, shaking his head.

As Sebastian pulls up to the hospital and rushes out, Ignis follows right behind him. He rushes to the front counter,

"I'm Sebastian Giles, you said my mother..." Sebastian says and the receptionist nods and types into her computer,

"Room 304, sir," she says, and Sebastian nods, running to the stairs and rapidly ascending them.

"Kid you gotta slow down! Take a breather!" Ignis shouts as Sebastian bursts open the doors to floor three.

"Not until I know she's safe" Sebastian yells and then reaches room 304 and hesitates taking a deep breath and opens the door. He sees his mom hooked up to tubes and wrapped in bandages, a nurse is checking over her, Sebastian mumbles something and the nurse looks over.

"Oh, sir, are you Sebastian?" she asks tenderly. Sebastian nods, and the nurse puts her hand on his arm.

"She's going to be okay, she's been badly burned but she'll survive" She pats him and walks out, Sebastian watches as his mom sleeps, he thinks and slowly turns to Ignis,

"Badly burned they said" He narrows his eyes and Ignis holds his hands up

"I was with you the whole time Kid, plus I'd never leave a victim alive," Ignis says and Sebastian sighs knowing he's right.

After about thirty minutes he hears a light knock at the door and he turns,

"Come in," He says and Millie enters the room looking over at him

"Hey, I heard at the station about your mom so I thought I'd come visit...I figured you'd be here already" She says, sitting beside him.

Sebastian nods covering his face in his palms, she sighs and looks over at his mom,

"I never thought Ignis would leave a survivor," Millie says and Sebastian is about to debate her but then realizes he'd be incriminating himself.

"Same here," Sebastian says plainly

Millie looks over at him, Well, if this was the work of Ignis then it was sloppy, furthermore if it was Ignis then why didn't his mom fit the profile, and why not sign his-

Millie realizes something and sits up,

"Well, Sebastian take care let's have another date soon okay?" Millie says smiling and Sebastian nods waving her goodbye. He turns back to his mom and grabs her bandaged hand in his own. He frowns and looks at Ignis,

"I'll agree to help you, but only if you find whoever did this and kill them. I don't care anymore I just want revenge" He says and Ignis leans in seeing a flicker of fire in his eyes, Ignis nods and clears his throat,

"Sure Kid, but I can't magically find who did this. I suggest we use that Millie chick to help us out, maybe suggest to her this might be the work of Ignis and ask her to look into it. I don't think that would be suspicious" Ignis says and Sebastian sighs but nods looking over to his mom,

"Fine, whatever it takes" He responds

Sebastian notices something on his mom's arm and slowly unwraps it, both him and Ignis step back in shock.

Millie leaves and shuts the door gently, she walks to the exit and pops a sucker in her mouth whilst thinking,

Yes, duh, why am I so oblivious sometimes? This can't be Ignis. Why not target another bully or sign his name? Because this person doesn't want to target someone who could've been killed by Ignis, so an accomplice? No, if it were an accomplice, then they'd kill a bully to fit in with Ignis's pattern. So a copycat, yes, that's what it has to be a copycat killer.

"Damn, there's a lot more work to do," Millie says aloud and walks out of the hospital

She steps into her car and drives to the station going through all the information in her mind,

This doesn't make sense, what changed in one year? And why wait this long before attacking? Are they simply waiting for Ignis to claim more victims? I feel like I'm working with a puzzle that's missing a few pieces. I'm missing something about Ignis, something obvious. Although this makes me certain, Sebastian has to be involved. Around four-thousand people live in Crestfront it cannot be a coincidence Sebastian's mom was targeted. But how and why, what am I missing here? Just one more clue. I just need one more clue.

The sounds of the church were quiet as the priest was packing things up, he snuck some of the money from the communal pot into his pocket. He laughed to himself and heard a clang behind him. He spun around and saw someone sitting in a pew, he squinted his eye and saw a nun deep in prayer.

"Oh sister, you startled me. I was just exchanging some money from my wallet you see" The priest says and the nun doesn't react. The priest walks down to her and gently pulls her head up he steps back in horror seeing the burnt face and one word carved into her arm,

"FAITH"

Below the word he sees more carvings;

"You shall not make for yourself a carved image"

The priest steps back in fear and shakes his head,

"My lord I'm sorry she didn't know, she-" He is suddenly hit in the head by a bottle, water pouring all over his body, no not water, gasoline. He turns and sees a figure light a match and looks over at him.

"Exodus 20:15: You shall not steal. Or have you forgotten Father?" A feminine voice says and throws the match. She waits for the fire to die down and walks over to him and leans down picking his arm up and carving,

"SELFLESSNESS, You shall not steal"

She stands up and looks out the window,

"Ignis, just who are you really?" She sighs
