Clichés/Tropes

I am well aware of the fact that the definition of cliché or trope typically means they're overused, but they're still fun!

Soulmates Au's:

Mark-based:

•The first sentence their soulmate says to them is tattooed on their wrist.

•There is a black mark where their soulmate first touched them, and become splotched with color once that encounter happens (ex: a bump on the arm as they walk by).

•Their name appears after they've fallen in love with them.

•Matching markings

•If they draw on themselves, their soulmate can see it as well.

Sense-based:

•They are only able to see color once they meet their soulmate.

•They feel pain in the spot their soulmate is hurt.

Miscellaneous:

•Each day, they will receive some clue to figure out who their soulmate is, but they never know how they will receive that clue.

Book Cliches:

•Enemies-to-Lovers

•Love triangles

•childhood friends/Friends-to-Lovers

•Damsel in distress

•'There was only one bed'

•Fake relationship/Secret relationship

•Someone with an obvious crush & someone who doesn't notice at all

•A serious character completely changing personalities around their crush

•The ever-so-sought-out 'dramatic rain kiss'

•"Shut up and kiss me" (I can't decide if its a good cliche, or if it just makes me cringe)
