"But you can't leave me here...alone" I sighed when I realized my complains were not having a effect on him.

It's Friday already and Tolu kept on insisting I should come for her party.

Ire was wearing a white shirt and black trousers which he wore well cause it showed of a lot of muscles.

The guy doesn't even work out and he's like this. Where is he from? Heaven? Obviously, he was made there.

To finish off the look, he took his Fa Vue  golden trimmed glasses 

He started admiring himself in the mirror and stroking where his beard is supposed to grow but unfortunately isn't. His cologne was still in the air though.

"How are you going to get outta here?" I whisper shouted cause my mom was on phone, probably with a friend of hers.

"I have my ways, but you have to stay in my room tonight." He smirked as he was talking.

"Why?"I asked.

"Cause we don't want mom finding out." He answered. "She will think I'm still there"

"Nope, I'll stay in mine"I huffed. "Just lock the door and make it look like your sleeping like in the movies or something."

"That's my girl" he smiled, obeying what I told him to do.

He stuffed the bed sheets with pillows and turned off the lights.

We left his room. I was still sulking and he didn't care.

"What if he comes back?" I said, my insecurities coming back again.

Ire held my checks lovingly and said  "He's never coming back, okay?"

I looked into his eyes and saw the look I needed to see. A look of trust, of hope.

"Okay" I answered, shaking the thought off.

"I'm going through the terrace." Hr whispered and got to his window.

"Are you mad?" I said, breaking out of my little brother- sister love session.

But it was too late he had already
climbed down and was gone.

He waved at me when he got to the front gate and I just shook my head.

He left,of course nobody would notice cause our gate is surprisingly a quiet gate to open.

I got back inside and decided to have fun, on my own.

I was in my yellow hoddie with red roses on both arms and a black sweatpants. I took Ire's headphones when I left his room.

I was listening to Demi Lovato's Confident while flipping through Pinterest.

I heard Mum calling my name, I quickly turned off my data and went to answer her.

I got to her room and found her slipping into a pair of ballerina flats.

She was wearing a blue straight dress, showing off her curves. It's hard to guess her age sometimes or even think I can out of that woman and she was still like this.

"I will be back." She told me. "And Ire?" She asked me.

I don't know how to lie and if I didn't answer her,she will get suspicious.

"I just left his room" I said. Now that wasn't a lie right?

"Okay" she said, she turned off the lights as we both left her room.

" I'll be back okay?" She said. She had an emergency at work to attend to.

I locked the gate as she drove her out with her Honda CR-V.

I got inside and searched through the freezer. I took candies and went up to my bedroom.

I turned on the headphones and heard Lovely by Billie Elishe.

I went to my Wattpad library and started reading.

This is my life, I thought. No partying, no drama. Just me, myself and my author.

I wondered what how Ire was doing but I couldn't dwell on it for long.

Ire's POV

I left the house and saw my little sister for the last time. I had a combination of mixed feelings.

Anger, at the fact of all that she had been through. Happy, that I finally had my way. I am so tired of being a watchdog over everything. I want to have fun too, right?

I snapped out of my thoughts when I saw Jide's white Camry. He parked just where I asked him to.

"Hey" I said as I entered the car.

"Hey man" Jide greeted me. He looked nice in his black sweatshirt, jeans and white Addidas. His gold chain complimented his chocolate skin nicely.

He started the car and we drove to our destination.

We turned on the radio and started singing along to Adekunle Gold's new jam, Something different.

When we pulled up at Temi's house. The house was filled with cars and people wearing black and white, which was the dress code. I liked it.

I turned to face Jide, his face looked plain, filled with no reaction. That's how he is. I wonder why. I'm gonna have the time of my life. I've waited so long for this opportunity, to be free. And be the animal me.

"Let's go" I said happily and dragged Jide. The guy has just been asking about Ayo. I know he has had a crush on her and knows a lot about her but I'm not gonna worry myself when I have so many things to do in this party.

He just followed me as we entered into the house. The sitting room was filled with people, some sitting ,some drinking and some doing both and laughing to themselves.

Drunkards, I looked at them. They disgust me. Everything about them just so disgust me.

Jide snapped me out of my thought and we walked in to the backyard. There was a DJ and a lot of people dancing, There was a dance floor and colourful lights everywhere. They were all dancing to Dumebi by my favorite artiste, Rema.

"I'm going to get a drink" he said. Opportunity to tease me.

" Is someone worried about his little girl" I traded him.

" Ha ha" he fake laughed.

"Okay, I'm going to dance". I shouted at him before getting to the dance floor. I tried as much as possible not to grind anyone. But when the song changed to Blow my mind by David and Chris Brown the crowd got wild.

I started dancing like crazy. Who doesn't like this song? I even met this cute girl on the dance floor.

" Hey" she said.

"Sup" I said, pretending to flirt with her. She just giggled, showing off both her dimples.

"Why is a pretty lady like you doing on the dance floor alone". I asked her.

"Nothing really, just decided to chill" The pretty girl said to me.

"Cool, same here. Siblings, I'm a right?" I said.

"Exactly, they are annoying". She rolled her eyes.

"I'm Jennifer by the way" she said.

" Do you watch the series?" I started to tease her with the show called Jenifa's diary.

"Yeah.." she rolled her eyes at me the second time. I like her. she's cute and fiesty.

She was wearing a white shirt dress with black stripes. She had her hair in braids with golden beads and rings on them. She complimented it light make-up.

" Can we got get a drink now, this song is so old". She said after a few minutes of trying to dance to Una baby by Davido.

"Sure" I said. I just feel like seeing those cute dimples of hers.

We got to the kicthen which was turned into a bar, kind of. She ordered for shots. I just stood there and watched her drink, she drank it like a boss.

"What?" She smiled as she dropped her shot cup or whatever its called.
"You don't drink?" She answered.

"Yeah" I said and shrugged my shoulders.

"Why?" She asked. "You scared or something" Then she batted her lovely eyelashes at me. I think I am drunk.

"I just don't babe okay" I said. I don't not want to talk about it. I can't believe I just called her babe. She smiled when she noticed I did.

"Okay". She said and took another. I just ordered a Cola.

I tried observing my environment and I saw a bunch of Ayo's classmates. I think they were playing truth or dare cause of the bottle on the floor.

"Uhmm...you're boring drink is her". Jennifer said.

I just smiled and took some. I liked the way the bubbles tickled my dry mouth then I started feeling uneasy. Maybe I'm just tired, I thought.

I spent a lot of time talking to Jennifer about a lot of random stuff really but my head was still spinning.

Then I felt like taking more of this dizzy Cola. It was funny who I was feeling.
I asked the waiter for more and he did making me feel so alive. I laughed to myself and Jennifer joined me.

I scanned the room, I wonder what Jide was up to? 
He was talking to a few guys in school that are sensible. Yes, they are some who aren't.

I excused myself from Jennifer and went up to them.

"Hey guys". I greeted all of them. Somehow I was able to carry myself about. What is happening to me?

"Hmm" they all said.

"What?" I asked all of them.

"We say you hooking up with that chick over there". Joshua said, pointing to Jennifer.

"Oh..., You mean Jenny. Back of her bitches". I slured.

"Mmm, I like that". Victor said.

"I'm serious, I don't even care if the president was dating her, I will finish him on top her matter". I said and smiled when I closed my eyes saw her in front of me. But when I opened my eyes, I remembered that she was in the kitchen.

"She's cute" Jide smirked and winked at me.

"And look at that asss.." Someone stressed the "s", I turned around and saw it was Tade.

"Leave her alone" I said to him.

"Chill dude, I'm not going to touch that excuse of a bitch" he continued.

I don't know what came over me, I punched him down. He fell on the floor and started laughing to himself. Jerk. I went to the floor and started hitting the evil grin off his stupid face.

Jide jeered me away from him and I almost hit his face, some other guys carried my perfectly done mess off the floor, I heard one of them say they were taking him to his car.

"Ire, come with me". Jide said to me, he was angry. A few people saw the scene and some were just staring. He dragged me out while I felt a lot of satisfaction with what I just did.

We went to the backyard again. Jide was just screaming at me. I couldn't help and notice Micheal, Ayo's friend kissing Tolu, Temi's cousin. I had no reaction really but just looking at them was better than listening to an angry Jide.

"What were you thinking?" He finally said.

" I was thinking of her" I blurted.

"Wow". His expression shocked. "You just met her, think!". He continued.

"So, he should not have said such a thing about my.... girl". I slured.

"You're drunk?!" He raised his voice. "You know how Ayo is around..." He continued blabbing again.

" And I say, I don't care. She's not going to stop me from being whoever I I want to be or doing whatever I please" I said.

As I was about to walk out on him. I turned back and said.
"Oh...and yes I am drunk" I smiled like I just won a million bucks

"Hey" Jennifer said in a sing song voice. 
I don't think she knows what happened hopefully.

I just took my Coke which I left earlier, and allowed those warm bubbles tickle me again.

"I wanna a shot?" I asked the waiter.

"Are you sure about that?" She asked me.

"Yeah" I said. What was I saying?

I took like two shots and I felt dizzy and amazing at the same time.

"Are you okay?" Jenny asked me.

"How do you like Jenny as your nick name?" I said.

"Sure". She giggled, she was as drunk as I was, I guess. I just liked the way she did that.

"But I don't have one for you". She pouted her lips. They looked so cute. I wondered how they tasted like. Why think when I can just do it right?

I leaned in and kissed her. It took her time to process what I was doing but she kissed me back and I loved the way she decided to slide her tongue through me.

I pulled back the braids she left to cover her face and grabbed her waist and she held on my cheek. She moaned in my mouth and I returned it. We both broke out of the kiss and we were smiling at each other and started laughing.

We are so drunk....but I liked the way it make me so different and crazy

Ayo's POV

It's been two hours now, I checked the time of my phone. Two minutes to Eleven already. What on Earth is Ire doing in that party, making out with a girl or something?

I just finished my book and finished sketching my new fashion design. Jide's   caller ID appeared on my phone screen. Why was he calling me?

"Hey". He said. He sounded worried and nervous at the same time.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Is your mum home?" He asked.

"No?" I replied.

"Good" he sighed. " Could you please open the front door?" He asked.

"Okay, what wrong. Please answer me". I begged.

"Okay, it's Ire. Just please do what I asked you to do and do get some painkillers". He said.

"Okay". I know what happened already, he got drunk. But why?

.....

Five minutes later, I was opening the door for a drunk brother and Jide. Ire was tripping on his own feet. Pathetic.

"Why didn't you let me finish him!" Ire said.

I looked at my brother and could not believe I was related to him. He had betrayed me. My anger took over me that moment and I'm glad it did.

"Shut up!" I screamed at him.
"Look at you, you were the one who said you were not going to end up like him, that you were going to protect me and you're here..."

Before I could finished he slapped me and was full of rage.

"Now you listen to me, do you think it's easy taking care you, You always ruin my plans, you ruin everything. I can't believe you're my sister cause you're just an excuse for been alive. Too emotional to handle anything, you're pathetic and can't even live life like a normal person".

He studied his environment and went upstairs to his room and kept talking to himself. I just froze on the spot and all the memories I tried keeping away came rushing like a river.

"Ayo". Jide spoke softly to me.

I tried to cry but they just didn't come out, I was still shocked. "Thanks for bringing him home". I managed to say, my voice failing me.

"It's okay, you know he didn't mean it"
He said.

I just shook my head as he wrapped his arms around me. I was still stiff after what he said.

Then his words kept hovering over me. He said I was pathetic, was that who he saw me as?

"Thanks" I said and broke the contact. I just don't want any self pity, I want to accept the fact and move on about that fact.

That you are pathetic?, Ire's voice whispered in my ear but he wasn't here.

I cleaned my face like he asked me to and left, not before trying to cheer me up and assuring me that he will explain everything sooner or later.

But I didn't care, it's the words that keep taunting me, even if he meant it or not. I felt like I've been broken into little pieces again.

I went upstairs to check on Ire, he was on the floor sleeping. I sighed.

I went to my room and allowed all the tears I have been trying to keep in fall.

Something that used to hunt me for years, I taught they were gone. But unfortunately, they came to pay me a visit, reminding me of who I was and will still be.
