It was finally the weekend and Kit was happy to finally be off from work as it was a Friday morning and he put a new guy in charge if he was going to take off to spend the weekend with Jude and Pepper.

Kit had been so anxious to ask Pepper the same questions that were bouncing around inside of his head. He knew that he wanted his surprise to be special for Jude and the moment she had always dreamed of come true for her.

He was going to ask Pepper and Jane about everything they knew Jude liked as he did know that, but he just wanted to make sure of it. He was nervous and just wanted everything to be perfect and the moment between them to be in their minds forever.

Jude and the girls were downstairs cooking breakfast as Kit walked in and over to her as he kissed her neck.

"Good morning sleepy head. Did you sleep good?" Jude asked him as he smiled.

"Yes I did, but I love waking up to see your head on my chest and the way your golden locks of hair fan around on my chest as you sleep." Kit said as Jude kissed him.

"Well, I was hungry and so were the girls and so, I am making breakfast." Jude said

"Well, I'm hungry but not for food." Kit said as he ran his hands up and down her behind.

"Don't make me spank you Mr. Walker, because you are about this close to getting one." Jude said as she showed him.

"Well then, let's go upstairs and you can spank me all you want to." Kit said as Jude laughed.

"You're just horny, that's all." Jude said as Kit really wanted her now.

"I can't help it when I have this goddess of a woman standing here, in her silk robe and half of it's open for me to see her cleavage." Kit said as Jude looked down.

"Well, I'm glad that they turn you on, but I told you I don't have the big breast size your looking for." Jude said

"I have never dated anyone with big breasts before and I love yours the way they are baby." Kit said

"Alright, I just want you to make sure that's what you want to see for the rest of your life." Jude said as she plated the eggs and bacon on everyone's plates.

"Trust me baby, they're perfect." Kit said as Jude smiled and they kissed as they sat down at the table to eat.

10 minutes later, they finished breakfast as Jude washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen as she felt like something was going on.

She went upstairs to see where Kit was and try to ask him what was going on as she heard laughter coming from her bedroom as she stood outside and heard them.

"Jude's favorite colors are red and purple, maybe black, but when you set up the date with her, wear something nice and let her talk first." Pepper said as she loved talking about Kit asking Jude to marry him as Jude wondered what they were talking about.

"Jude loves roses." Jane said

"Yes I know, there is still a vase full of them on her night stand from a week ago." Kit said as Jude smiled at the roses he had gotten her for a gala ball they attended for the children's hospital charity fund.

"Have you got her ring yet?" Jane asked him as Jude's heart started fluttering as she walked away and downstairs to the kitchen.

"Not yet, I was wondering if y' all would like to help me pick it out." Kit said as Pepper and Jane smiled.

"Oh yes!" The both of them exclaimed as they laughed.

"Good, we'll go look around today, because I forgot Jude has an hour to read at the library to celebrate literacy week and she asked us to go get the finger foods from our local bakery that she ordered."

"When are you going to propose to her?" Pepper asked him.

"I was thinking about next week on our date and I have the perfect place too." Kit said

"Where?" Jane asked

"The abandoned house I took her to on our first outing as our first date. It's forty five minutes away from here and it would be a delicate experience for us to get over our fears of creepy places." Kit said as he thought of Jude.

"You're going to propose to Jude at an abandoned house you took her to?" Jane asked

"It was our first date and it was a farmhouse." Kit said

"I wonder how Jude will like it?"

"She will be excited I believe."

"Let's hope so." Pepper said

All three of them went downstairs to see that Jude was reading as she looked up.

"Hey sweetheart." Kit said as he put Jude's feet in his lap.

"Hi there." Jude said back as she smiled.

"Are you ready to go darling?" Kit asked her.

"Yes darling. I can't wait to read to my babies." Jude said as Kit smiled.

"They love you too sweetheart." Kit said

"How do you know that?" Jude asked him.

"Because they told me." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"Well, I love them too." Jude said

Kit, Jude, Pepper and Jane all walked out to the car as they drive to the library for her Children's Literacy Week as she was SO excited to see her babies standing there as she hugged them as Kit unlocked the door.

"Good morning Ms. Jude, these are for you." A little boy name Tommy presented her with a bouquet of pink roses.

"Thank you baby, there beautiful." Jude said as she held his hand.

"You're welcome Ms. Jude, but you're prettier than all the flowers in the world." Tommy said as they all walked in and sat down in a big circle as Jude went to her desk and Kit followed her.

"Here's the list darling of the items I need you and the girls to pick up at the bakery, I also need you to being the sherbet and ginger for the punch, because guess who forgot it." Jude said as Kit kissed her.

"It's alright sweetheart, I have everything covered. You just need to relax, but go read to them babies before one of them throws something like last time." Kit said as Jude smiled as he mentioned 'babies'. Something about that word made her yearn for a beautiful child of their own, just a mix of him and her.

"I know, but give me a kiss before you leave." Jude said as Kit kissed her as she sucked on his bottom lip as she craved more.

"Mhmm... If we were married, I would say we could do it right here, but our kids will see us and Jane will think something, plus Pepper will think we've already made love." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"It won't be long till we are and then, we could make love where ever we want to." Jude said as they smiled as he kissed her again.

"Alright, we're gonna go now. I love you sweetheart." Kit said as he kissed her cheek.

"I love you too baby." Jude said as Jane and Pepper followed behind him.

Kit, Pepper and Jane walked out of the door as Kit was excited about  Jude's engagement ring as he held the bag close.

They walked into the bakery as the owner knew them right away as he got their orders.

"A special orders for Ms. Jude." The bakery owner named Tony said in his Italian accent.

"Yes, she made sure that everything was perfect and for the children this week." Kit said as he smiled.

"Listen Tony, I need you to do something for me, if you don't mind." Kit said

"Sure, anything Mr. Kit." Tony said

"Next week, I'm going to ask Jude to marry me and I was wondering what I should take with us to eat." Kit said as Tony smiled and hugged him.

"Perfect! Just some wine, cheese and fruit shall do the trick. I will put in a order for two champagne cupcakes for them to go with you next week." Tony said as he got excited.

"That would be great and thank you for the recommendation. Jude is always telling me about your French foods and she craved them.  Kit said as Tony smiled.

"Are you sure she isn't pregnant?" Tony questioned as Kit's cheeks blushed a healthy shade of pink and red.

"Oh no! Trust me, we're waiting till were married before we decide to get pregnant. I mean we've talked about having a baby, but no, she's not pregnant." Kit said as he imagined his future with Jude by his side.

"Well, pregnant women crave things." Tony said as Kit felt really uncomfortable talking about this with his new friend.

"And so do women who aren't pregnant, Jude craves stuff during her 'woman time', now that's as far as it gets right there." Kit said

"I know all about them, because I'm married and have a daughter, so I know how it goes." Tony said as Kit felt the same way.

"Well anyway Tony, thank for the treats and Jude thanks you." Kit said

"Well, thank you for making these for her. She'll love them and so will our kids." Kit said as Jane and Pepper took some bags too.

"Tell Ms. Jude I appreciate her business and congratulations on your pre-engagement." Tony said as Kit smiled as he was ready to just propose to Jude, but he was patient as he could not wait until next week.

"Thank you." Kit said as him and the girls walked out.

They all walk to the grocery store to get the ginger ale, sherbet and ice as they checked out and went back into the library as Jude smiled.

"Hello, my darlings." Jude said as she smiled.

"We have everything you need Jude." Pepper said

"Thank you darling, why don't you and Jane go set out these yummy treats on the table over there." Jude said as she pointed at the table closest to the window.

"Alright Jane, let's go." Pepper said as she ushered her along as Jane already knew how to make the drink mix.

"You have to show me how to make that." Pepper whispered as Jane taught her.

"You empty out all the sherbet out of the container, put the ginger ale in it add ice and fruit.
(By the way, I actually make this for the holidays, so I recommend you to try it! You won't regret it).

"Sweetheart, can I see you in my office for a minute?" Jude asked him.

"Of course baby, what's wrong?" Kit asked as he worried about her.

"Just follow me." Jude said as they walked into her office as she shut the door as she kissed her instantly.

Jude kissed him hard as they started rubbing each other's most private areas as they wanted to take it further, but then there was a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" Kit asked

"Umm... Jude, you need to come out here, like right now." Jane said as Jude got frightened about Jane's shaky voice.

"What is it sweetheart?" Jude asked her as Pepper came running to her, crying.

"What's wrong Pepper?" Kit asked her as she buried her face in Jude's shoulder.

"Jude... Do you remember someone named Timothy Howard?" Jane asked as Jude could of fainted.

"Yes... I...I... Do remember him." Jude stumbled over her words as she felt Kit's hand on her shoulder.

"That stupid son of..." Kit got cut off by Jude.

"No need for cursing my dear. I have been waiting to give that liar what he deserves." Jude said as she stormed off, only to have Kit grab her arm.

"Baby, he already hurt you enough. Let me handle him this time." Kit said as Jude knew that she needed to do this.

"Honey, I love you, but I have to do this. I know you're just trying to protect me, but I have to do this in order for us to find peace and common ground." Jude said as Kit did not understand.

"You're not going to find common ground with that son of a bitch. I can already tell you that right now baby." Kit said as he just wanted to hurt Tim for what he did to Jude as she kissed his cheek.

"I have to do this, in order for us to have a peace of mind to carry on." And with that, Jude walked away, Kit hot on her heels with the girls behind him as Jude came to see a familiar face as she saw the face she thought held all potential and the key to her heart.

"Jude, my rare bird. How are you?" Tim asked as he went to hug her, but Kit saw to that as he held his hand up.

"Don't touch her and don't call her that. She's my lady, not yours." Kit said sternly.

"Well, well, well. Mr. Walker, so glad to see you." Tim said as nice as he could, but Kit was just not in the mood for him to be here.

"Yeah well, I don't care to see you and why the hell are you here?" Kit asked as Jude rubbed her hand up and down his back.

"I heard you two had gotten out of Briarcliff and you look amazing Jude." Timothy said as Jude held her head down.

"Screw you." Jude said as Kit stood in front of her.

"I'm sorry for what happened rare bird, I really am." Tim said as Kit doubled his fist.

"I told you not to call her that." Kit shouted.

"Well, she was my rare bird before she was your lady." Tim said

"Yeah well, I was the one who got her out of Briarcliff and I am the one who nursed her back to health. I did everything for her and you did nothing but fill her head full of lies." Kit said as Jude laid her head on Kit's shoulder.

"Jude, please. Talk to me?" It almost sounded like a question to Jude, but she did not want to hear his excuses any longer as she held Kit's hand.

"Walk him to the door or I will throw that son of a bitch out myself." Jude whispered into Kit's ear as he walked to the door and opened it.

"Leave now Mr. Howard or I will have you escorted off our premises myself." Kit said as Jude smiled at him (picture in media).

Timothy left as they all sighed in relief.

"Thank you baby." Jude said as she hugged him.

"If he comes back in here, then I know what to do." Kit said

"I can't believe so long ago I loved that man." Jude said as she closed her eyes for a moment.

"Do you still... love him?" Kit stumbled upon asking her as she looked at him.

"No, no baby. I love you and you know that." Jude said as she held his face in between her hands.

"Are you sure?" Kit asked as he held her close.

"Baby, I promise you that I don't love him anymore, I once was, but now I'm in love with you, my hero and knight in shining armor." Jude said as she kissed him as she heard some kids giggling.

"Well hello there kids." Kit said as Jude smiled.

Jude put their kids in a circle and had a child in her lap as Kit stared at her as she read ' The Snowy Day' as she looked up at him.



They got done reading as the kids went over to the snack table to get something to snack on as Kit kissed Jude's cheek.

"The cupcakes look beautiful my dear." Jude said as she looked at how happy everyone was.



"Tony does a fabulous job at all this and I'm so happy to have him as our bakery guy." Jude said

"Tony asked me if you were pregnant." Kit said as Jude looked at him and smiled.

"Why on earth did he ask that?" Jude questioned

"Because you talk about craving something different every time you go in there." Kit said as some the kids read books while they are their finger foods.

"Well, just because I crave something does not mean I'm pregnant, besides we have not even had sex yet and it's weird when people assume that we have." Jude said

"I agree, now what would you like to do for the next fifteen minutes?" Kit asked her.

"Relax." Jude said as they sat on the floor and embraced each other.

"Sounds like a swell plan to me." Kit said as Jude felt herself dozing off as she tried to stay awake.

All the parents arrived to pick their children up from the library as they were given the rest of the finger foods and cupcakes as Kit and Jude were cleaning up while Pepper and Jane were saying their goodbyes to the kids as "Yeah well, I don't care to see you and why the hell are you here?" Kit asked as Jude rubbed her hand up and down his back.

"I heard you two had gotten out of Briarcliff and you look amazing Jude." Timothy said as Jude held her head down.

Three hours later, parents came inside of the library to pick up their children as Kit, Jude, Pepper and Jane were giving all the finger foods and cupcakes to them as they left and Jude checked if anymore books were lying around and put them up as Kit came up behind her and started kissing her neck.

"Can I help you Mr. Walker?" Jude asked as she put the books back on the shelf.

"Yes, what would you like for dinner?" Kit asked her.

"Anything is fine with me as long as I don't have to cook." Jude said as Kit kissed her cheek as she turned around wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Jude?" Jane asked as she came over where they were standing.

"Yes dear?" Jude answered back.

"Me and Pepper bought dinner tonight. I hope Chinese is fine." Jane said as Jude smiled.

"Sounds perfect." Jude said as they went over and indulged in food and conversation.

They ate and talked as they decided it was time to close for the weekend as tomorrow was Sunday and they always had family dinner together.

Pepper was spending the night at Jane's house, so Jude has an idea.

They got home as Kit unlocked the door as Jude walked upstairs to put on her laced lavendar nightgown as she laid on top of their duvet comforter.

Kit came into their bedroom and seen Jude laying there peacefully sleeping as he changed into a regular white cotton t-shirt and blue plaid pajama pants and laid beside her as she laid her head on his chest.

"Good night darling." Jude said as she kissed his lips and snuggled into him under the comforter.

"Good night sweetheart." Kit said as he kissed her temple, relieved that her electro shock therapy burns were healed as he ran his fingers over her head.

"I love you." Jude said as she felt him staring at her.

"I love you too my beautiful queen." Kit said as they drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.
