Before you read the chapter I just want to say I have been wanting to post an original book I have been working on. Sooooooo yeah go check it out it's called Changes, It's original name was Our story but I saw someone already made a story with a title called Our Story, so I don't want people to think I copied so I changed it to be Changes.

~Time skip to April~

"Hey (y/n), thanks for coming over for short notice." Says Lucinda.

"No problem. I'm always here to help." We walk in and I saw Aphmau sitting on the couch. "Sooo what is it that you need me for?" I ask.

"Well Aph here wants to learn about magic. Specifically she wants to do magic. Even more specific, healing magic." Says Lucinda.

"Ohhh why?"

"It's just that....." Aph looks down and blush.

"You don't need to explain, I already know."

"W-what h-ho---" I cut Aphmau off.

"Magics. So if you want to learn about healing magics, I guess we have to start by the basics."

"Right, let's head to my backyard." Lucinda leads us to where her backyard is and she has a flower on top of a table.

Lucinda right away explain about everything that Aph needs to know about healing magics. Then that's when she actually start doing it.

"Am...I doing it?!" Aph asks in a very and I mean a very frustrated tone.

"Not even close." I said.

"How about (y/n) teach her way on healing magic. She is a half warlock after all. Their magic is more complicated than any other. I'll be inside making some tea." Lucinda then walks back inside.

"Okay Aph, we warlocks have ways on healing magics. Like the example that Lucinda thought you and many more. I intend to just basically focus on the object or person or whatever you're trying to heal. Then just snap."

"Like it just magically happen if you just focus on it really hard?" She asks as she stare at the flower intensely.

"No I just snap my fingers. Like this." I stare at the flower and snap my fingers to see it healed. Then I snapped my fingers again to have it as how it was. "Although I don't know if humans could do that."

"What other ways can warlocks do?"

"Well...." I summons in my wand, which is just a stick that has silver designs on it. "I use a wand."

"Oh cool."

"But Humans couldn't do that either. Warlocks and witches or other magic users have their own wands passed down by generations."

"So you and Travis have wands?"

"Well, It's just me. Travis being Travis broke his wand."

~Flashback until high school~

"What are you dork heads doing?" I ask as I come into the backyard to see Travis, Dante, Garroth and Laurance hiding behind a bush.

"We're doing experiments on Travis' wand to see how strong it is." Says Dante.

"That is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard in my entire life. Father is so gonna kill you."

"Not if it breaks little sis. Watch how your big brother does it." Says Travis as he puts on his goggles.

They have a string attached to a weight bell that goes along to the tree and there is Laurance and Garroth holding the string in order for the weight bell to not fall.

"Suite yourself."

I sat down on the couch that was at the porch and watch how stupid this could end up.

"Ok fine. Guys in my signal." Says Travis. This is gonna go downhill. Just wait for it. "Now!"

Garroth and Laurance let go of the rope and it smashed the wand into pieces. The boys had their eyes widen and jaws dropped while I smirk.

"I told you. Travis it's just a stick with silver designs on it." I said.

Travis lifted the weight bell of the pieces of the wand and he just stared at them. This is why he must always listen to his little sister.

~End~

"What happen to him then?" Aphmau asks.

"Let's just say he got in soooooo much trouble. Anyways your best luck is to do the method that Lucinda do."

She groans and continue on her magic. In a very frustrating way. I told her I'll be looking around Lucinda's backyard and the little shack she has.

I went into the shack and it was wow. She got potions all around and looks like she was working on something. I look at the table to see bunch of rare ingredients scattered around. Where did she find these?

Then something caught my eye. A book. It looks ancient. I walk in front of it to see the details on it. Then everything went dark and I was in a dark room. Nothing but pitch black.

Where am I?

I then saw a cloak woman appear in front of me. She hands out something. It looks like a necklace.

"Take it....."

I look at her then back to the necklace, thinking if I should trust her or not. I reach my hand out slowly to take it and as soon as I grab it, I was back.

I look down at the necklace and t was beautiful.

"(Y/n)?! What are you doing here?!"

I turn to the doorway and saw Lucinda staring at me with wide eyes.

"Lucinda! I'm sorry, but I just wanted to look around and I came across this. Where did you get this book?"

"*Sighs* It's okay. I found that book in the underground's of the lodge. Someone told me it was owned by a snake eyed man."

"Snake eyed man....." Grandpa.....

"Do you know something about it? Cause when Travis came here, he acted so different. Like it wasn't even him or something."

"I may not know about this kind of sorcery, but I do know that the snake eyed man is possibly my grandfather. My dad told me he accomplished lots of things when he was at the lodge, one of them being the forever potion. Possibly that book is where he kept his research."

"I want to know that why aren't you acting weird. As in Travis acted weird once his eyes met the book. Why aren't you doing the same?"

I look down at the necklace. "Maybe this. When I saw that book I was put into a room full of darkness. A woman gave me this and now I'm here. For all I know that book could be dangerous, so Lucinda I trust you to take care of it."

"I'll keep it safe."

I wore the necklace and we walk out to see Aph still working on her magics. We told her to just practice at home cause it was getting late. I said bye to the girls and head home to be greeted by something cooking in the kitchen.

"I'm home!" I exclaim.

"In the Kitchen!" Vylad yelled.

I placed down my stuff and walk to the kitchen to see him cooking up some steak for dinner. I saw there were a lots of plates set up on the dining table. More than usual.

"What's with all the plates?" I ask.

"Oh, well do you know Aaron's sister?"

"Melissa?"

"Yeah, well she came by today asking if she could join us for dinner, of course I let her to join. So yeah."

"But why is there so much plates?"

"Well apparently I know that werewolves tend to eat a lot so here I am cooking as much food as I could."

"Here, I'll help you out."

I help him with making more steak and baking some mash potatoes. As soon we are done we heard the doorbell and we were already done setting up the food.

Only thing I want to know is that, why did Melissa wanted to join us for dinner?

Ok so First as you may seen at the above that I'll be posting my first chapter of my first ever original book called:
Changes

I'm really nervous, cause I won't even know if you guys would want to read it since it's not really about Aphmau, but I have my hopes up that you guys might enjoy it.

Second is that I want to start making my own comic. Again it's original. I will probably do it soon when I have the right time for it. If it's Final I'll be making a book just for the comic where I'll be posting the pictures of the comic in it.
(I will be doing the comics manually)
