Taehyung POV
when jimin held onto y/n hand I don't know what took over me, i just know that at that moment I saw them hold hands I felt a bit jealous and I grabbed onto y/n wrists. I heard Vanessa called my name and instantly let go of y/n.

" I'm sorry "

I quickly got in my car and and drove away, I couldn't stand there any longer from the embarrassment. I don't know why I did that I guess I'm just not in my straight mind at the moment. I got home and of course Vanessa was calling me.

Phone CALL
" hey "
" I'm coming over in a bit, we have to talk now "

She hung up the phone and I already knew what she was going to talk about. I really didn't want to talk about it. After about ten minutes I heard my front door opening. She came in with a mad face expression.

" what was that earlier? "
" I don't know "
" I think you do know, why were you holding hands with y/n "
" I wasn't "
" yes you were "
" look, can we not talk about this right now "
" do you not want to marry me anymore? "
" of course I do "
" so the reason you're not setting an official date for our marriage is because of her isn't it? "

She placed the ring on my counter before leaving. I looked at the ring clenching it before angrily throwing it somewhere. Why does this have to happened to me.

the car ride was a bit quiet and you could feel the tension with you and jimin.

" sooo I really hope you didn't think I wanted that to happen because I didn't "

After you two arrived at your place he didn't get out of the car.

You stayed quiet because he was right you have been having doubts about you and jimin. You didn't want to tell him because you didn't want to hurt him.

You leaned in giving him a quick peck on the lips before going inside your house. You felt like a bad person that was hurting jimin. You weren't lying when you said you liked him but something seems to be missing. You don't really know what that missing feeling is. Ever since taehyung came back you felt like everything seems to be a mess again. You were laying on your bed when you heard your phone vibrate. You reached over grabbing your phone seeing a text from taehyung.

TEXT MESSAGE!

" I'm sorry about earlier I really don't know why I did that "
" it's okay "

You didn't know if the missing feeling you had was taehyung or was it just you thinking too much.

NEXT MORNING

You came into work and went to your shared office with taehyung. You opened the door but he wasn't in his office. You thought maybe he wasn't here yet. You went to your desk and started working on designs. It was now noon and still no sign of taehyung. Was he that embarrassed that he doesn't want to show up for work. You heard your phone ringing and saw jimin name written across your phone.

PHONE CALL
" hey let's go out for lunch "
" sure I'll be there in five "

You hung up looking at taehyung desk again you were starting to feel a bit worried but you also didn't want to call him and ask him. You went outside seeing jimin waiting in his car. You hopped in his car while you two went out for lunch.

Taehyung POV
I decided to stay home and not go into work today. I wasn't feeling to good but I also didn't want to face y/n either I didn't want to show my face after what happened last night. I laid in bed all day but woke up to go get some lunch because I was feeling a bit hungry. I walked to my kitchen opening the fridge not seeing anything I want to eat. I closed it and decided to just go and grab some lunch to eat. I got in my car and went to the little restaurant I like to go when I want to grab some to go food. I went inside the restaurant and placed in my order waiting for my food. I saw jimin and y/n together and she was laughing and smiling. I felt this slight jealously when I saw them together. Seeing y/n smile and laugh again made me happy but seeing other guys make her laugh and smile did make me jealous. I remember when it was me that made her smile all the time but because of my stupid boy brain I lost her and now someone else is making her happy. I grabbed my food and went back home but as soon as I got home I lost my appetite. I walked back to my room and opened my closet taking out a box. I kept all the memories I've made with y/n in this box after we got a divorce. I looked through it seeing the good days again. This box has pictures from the first time we took a picture to the time we got married. It had little notes that y/n used to write to me. I smiled seeing the cheesy notes. I put the stuff back in the box before going back to lay down on my bed.

Your POV
You came back from having lunch with jimin and taehyung still wasn't here. You finally took out your phone and decided to just text him.

TEXT MESSAGE

" hey where are you? "
" home why?
" ohh I was just asking because you didn't come into work today "
" sorry I didn't let you know but I wasn't feeling good that's why I didn't come in "
" ohh well do you need anything "

You looked at your phone while bitting on your nails a little habit you hate doing but you only do it when you're nervous. You saw three little dots meaning he's typing but it went away and then showed up again.

" no it's fine "
" okay we'll I hope you feel better "

You spent the whole day in a big quiet office which was so boring. The day was ending and you grabbed your purse getting ready to go home. You heard a little knock on the door and it was John the new worker from the other day.

John: " hey, you're leaving already "
" yeah "
John: " anyways I work right next door to you guys and I haven't had the proper meeting with you "
" didn't we meet the other day? "
John: " yeah but we didn't get the chance to talk about ourselves a bit "
" ohh well let's go out for some coffee sometimes "
John: " that sounds great "

He gave you a smile before leaving, you grabbed the rest of your stuff before leaving. You got in your car and forgot that you need some lady things from the store. So you stopped at the small little convenience store. You went inside buying your lady things and came out seeing taehyung sitting outside of the store wearing a cut up t-shirt and baggy pants. He always seems to still look decent even when he's wearing lazy clothes.

" taehyung "

He turned to face you but quickly got up when he saw you.

" h-hey what are you doing here? "
" I came to buy some things but why are you here aren't you not feeling well "
" yeah I wasn't but I just wanted to come out and have a drink "
" ohh, well I'll be leaving then "
" wait, can we talk "
" umm sure "

You sat down across from him while he sat up straight looking at you.

" I don't want you to think that I'm trying to stop you and jimin from being together "
" no I don't think that "
" anyways I also want us to fix our relationship "

You don't know why but when he said that you felt the anger. You looked at him as if he was serious about that.

" are you serious? "
" yeah "

You got out of your chair looking at him

" and why couldn't you have said that a year ago "
" what are you talking about? "
" ever since we've met each other again you keep trying to fix something between us that will never be fixed again "
" look I'm just trying to make everything better "

You grabbed your things and went back to your car. You drove feeling proud of yourself but you also felt yourself crying. He can't just come back in your life and take you away and try to fix everything. He doesn't even know how much hurt he you but you hate yourself even more because you still love him even if he had hurt you, you still love him. You came home throwing your stuff on your chair before going to bed. The next morning you came into work ignoring taehyung the whole day.

3 DAYS

It's been three days since I talked to taehyung. It's been really hard to ignore him saying that you really wanted to just yell at him but also wanted to hug him. You heard his phone ringing and he picked up immediately.

" Vanessa "

You have to admit you were a bit mad and jealous. The door opened and came in John and you knew this was really childish but two can play at this game. You were flirting and making sure taehyung saw that.

Taehyung POV

it's been three days and y/n still hasn't talked to me at all. I've must've really hurt her badly and I feel like a bad person. My phone rang and I heard Vanessa through the phone. I got up and started talking to her when john came into the room. Her and y/n were totally flirting with each other. I felt jealous but I didn't want to say anything. I saw her grab her things and was ready to leave. I hung up the phone before stopping them

" uhh y/n where are you going! "
" I'm going out for a little coffee date with john "
" umm aren't you dating someone "
John: " you're dating someone? "

Y/n looked at me with wide eyes and I chuckled feeling satisfied.

" no I'm not dating anyone anymore because of someone now we're just friends "
John: " great then lets go "
Taehyung: " she's lying she is dating someone "
John: " but she just said she wasn't "

I felt y/n grabbing onto my sleeves asking me to stop but I wasn't going to stop there.

" yeah, she's dating me "

I pointed to myself giving my smile, I looked at y/n while she looked surprised.

" yup me "

I leaned in and whispered the last part.
