I created this art of a Rainbow Serpent. This piece meant a lot to me as an Indigenous Australian.

It's my interpretation of Goorialla, or more commonly known the Rainbow Serpent.
The dreamtime story depicts that it was Goorialla that slithered across the land and created mountains and gorges.
One day Goorialla ate two Indigenous brothers, known as the Bil-Bil brothers, by tricking them to sleep in his mouth, and then slithering off. The tribe caught onto the fact that Goorialla had eaten the brothers and slithered off, and the tribe hunted Goorialla down, and when they found him, they split open his belly to save the brothers. When the brothers emerged they flew out as two Rainbow lorkieets.
In fury Goorialla attacked in retaliation, and as the tribe ran from the serpent they transformed into different creatures.
Until eventually Goorialla slithered into the sea and never seen again.
