You sat on the bleachers in your cheer uniform as you were watching the boys, you then see Lydia and Allison come. When Allison laid her eyes in you, you smiled and sent a wave as she did the same.

"McCall !" Yelled Coach

"Yeah."

"You're in goal !"

Scott and Stiles were surprised as was you, but you clapped anyways

"I've never played..."

"I know, score some shots will bring confidence. It's a first day thing !"

"What about me ?" Asked Scott

He walked up to the goalie as he was dressed

" Try to not take any in the face. Let's go !! Come on !!"

The coach blows the whistle and you noticed that Scott winced in pain and held his head, that's when someone threw the ball at him and hit him directly in the face. You stood up immediately

"SCOTT!"

Calling his name out as if it was impulse.

"Ah y/n sit down! It's just a tiny hit!" Said Coach

You sat back down a bit worried

"Who's that ?"

"Him.... Well I don't know why?"

"He's in my english along with her."

"Oh the girl I can tell you who she is, that's y/n l/n captain of the cheerleading squad, her mom died when she was around 12 or 15 I think. "

"Oh my god."

"Yeah she's still not over it. Well I mean who wouldn't. Her dad stayed here for a while until he moved to a place in Virginia I think"

You clapped as Scott was catching some good shots from the other players

"He's pretty good!" Smiled Allison

"WOOO! Go Scott !!"

"That's my best friend! That's my best friend!"

You cheered again as you and Stiles were pumped to see him succeed

*timeskip*

You three were in the woods walking to the place you and Scott saw the body last night

"I don't know what it was ! It was like... I had all the time in the world to catch the ball ! And that's not the only weird thing. I hear stuff I shouldn't be able to hear, I smell things..."

You and Stiles looked at him weirdly

"You smell things ? Like what ?"

" Like the mint gum in your pocket, and y/n perfume."

You blushed a bit

"Yeah well jokes on you I don't have any mint gum in my... "

Stiles pulled out a piece of gum that had the wrapper all messed up. He then tossed it behind himself

"So, all of that started with the bite !?" You asked

"Well What if it's like an infection ? Like... my body is full of adrenaline before a shock or something..."

" You know what, I actually think I heard it... It's a specific kind of infection."

" You're serious ?"

"Yeah. I think it's called : "lycanthropy" "

Scott seemed worried as you rolled your eyes.

" What is that ? Is that bad ?"

" Oh, yeah, it's the worst ! But only once a month."

" Once a month ??"

" Huh-huh. On the night of the full moon."

Stiles then howled as if he was a werewolf, Scott hits him

"He's just joking Scott"

"Well you two were ones who heard a wolf !"

"That is true."

" It's not funny, there's seriously something wrong with me !"

"I know ! You're a werewolf ! Okay, obviously I'm kidding. But if you see me trying to melt all the silver I can find it's because Friday is this full moon."

" I could have swear it was there. I saw the body, the stags running... I dropped my inhaler. Y/n screamed and her necklace isn't around here either."

" Maybe the killer moved the body."

"If he did it I hope he didn't take my inhaler, this thing costs like 80$ a box"

You got into the ground to feel around.

"And that necklace was my moms." You said

Scott and Stiles stared at you as you were slightly frantic, Scott could your eyes form the tears but they never fell. Stiles kneeled down to your level

"Don't worry y/n well find it."

You looked at him with a smile

"Hopefully."

You felt like you were being watched stiles stood up and smacked Scott's arm, he pointed to your left which made you turn and you see someone

"What are you doing here ? Huh ? This is private propriety !"

You stood up quickly and wiped your uniform

"Um.... Sorry, man, we didn't know."

"Yeah we were just... looking for something... forget it..."

The man gives the inhaler to Scott and he holds out a chain, your eyes widen and you rushed to him

"My necklace ! You found it!"

You had grabbed it from his hand and smiled, you looked up at the bearded man and gave him a huge hug. Which no one was expecting

"Thank you so much! I'll repay you!"

You pulled away and quickly went to stiles and Scott who stood there a bit surprised, the man walked away.

"Did you just hug him?"

"Yeah he found my necklace of course!"

"Okay, I have to go to work."

"Guys!, that was Derek Hale ! You remember, right ? He's just a few years older than us."

" Remember what ?"

" His family. They all burned in a fire like ten years ago."

" oh I think I remember that. Well what is he doing back ?" You asked

" Don't know... Come on."

You three then walked away towards Stiles car. Stiles dropped off Scott and then he was dropping you off. He was outside your home as you both were in his car. You were looking at your necklace.

"You still haven't put it on? Here I'll help you."

Stiles put your mothers necklace on you and you smiled

"Thanks. I'm so glad Derek found it."

"Yeah... you still miss her don't you?"

"Yeah, this is the last thing I have of her. My dad didn't even want to talk about her when I stayed with him. I saw how it broke him."

"I mean I'm get it... that's how my dad is. He hardly talks about her."

You looked at him and grabbed his hand which caused him to freak out mentally.

"I'm glad I'm back at Beacon Hill. Mystic falls was a bit much for me."

Stiles laughed

"This is just a boring town. Being the Sheriffs son makes it better."

You laughed with him

"Of course I missed you guys too much!"

You engulfed him into a hug.

"We missed you too. Scott couldn't shut up about you, and if I'm gonna be honest neither
Could I."

"Sadly I spent the rest of my freshman and some of sophomore year at Virginia but it was good. I missed beacon hills."

"Well glad your back y/n. "

You smiled at him.

"I'll see you tomorrow Stiles, thank you."

"Yeah sure. Bye y/n."

You got off his car and walked to your home. You opened it with your keys and right when you stepped into the home you smelled delicious food

"Hey ! I'm in the kitchen."

"Hey auntie."

"How was school kiddo."

"Pretty good, as usual."

"Yeah? You sure ?"

"Of course. I met a new girl named Allison."

"Oh really! Finally a girl friend ! You always spend your time with Scott and the other weird kid."

"You mean Stiles?"

"Yeah last time I caught him sneaking through your window?"

"He was invited !"

"That is true but he could use the front door."

You laughed

"Your right."

"I wouldn't even be surprised he made a copy of your keys."

You sat down on the stool

"I wouldn't either."

Your aunt looked at you

"Hey what's wrong ?"

"You lived here a long time right?"

"Yeah, I hate to admit it but yes. "

"Do you remember the hale family?"

Your aunt's face slightly frowned

"I wouldn't be able to forget. It was a tough night. "

"What happened? "

"Well what do you know?"

"That there was a fire. Families burned alive."

"Who-"

"From what I remember Derek Hale, One of his sisters and his uncle I believe."

"That's horrible... "

"Yeah it is my dear..."

"It must've been so hard for him."

"For who?"

"Derek."

Your aunt looked at you

"Do you have a crush?!"

"NO! I don't even know him."

"That doesn't prove anything. You could still like someone even if you don't know him."

You blushed and sighed

"N-no! It isn't like that AUNTIEEEEE!"

She bursted out laughing.
