"Cecile know that there are always two sides to a story," Josh kept repeating the same line like a mantra.

"What do you mean Josh?" I questioned, trying to make sense of everything.

A voice in the distance made me turn, a small boy with jet black hair and multicolored eyes stood in the distance, "Don't be one of them Cecile, don't be..." he kept repeating the statement.

A sense of familiarity came from him. I'd seen him somewhere before.

But where could I have possibly seen someone with multicolored eyes?

Another voice in the distance called out, it was the creature that ate my essence, "I will destroy you!" It bellowed from afar, its body twitching uncontrollably but it never made a step towards me.

"You will pay for this hunter!" A deep voice thundered, I turned to see the creature whose left eye I had destroyed.

"Fight until they are all dead, show them no mercy. It is your destiny!" A disembodied voice commanded.

The bow and arrow was in my grasp, I was yet again in my attire, loaded and ready to shoot, just like the voice had said.

A surge of anger and the hunger to kill settled in my being, wrapped around my heart, dripping poisonous fluids of hate through my system.

It was my destiny. I was not my own.

"Stop!" A voice yelled in distance, my mother stood clasping her hand, "Fight it Cecile! You are not in control."

I dropped the arrow.

Mom?

What is happening to me?

"Fight it Cecile, keep on fighting it."

The world around me faded and I became detached with her words.

"Always know both sides of a story."

"Protect them."

"Protect us."

It felt like I'd just fallen back into my body. I tried opening my eyes to check my surroundings, but I was too weak.

I felt drained, the dream I experienced causing more confusion and apprehension.

Who was that boy?

Why did he seem so familiar?

So many unanswered questions were wafting through my mind, and for some reason I felt like I should know all this.

So why didn't I?

I knew I wasn't at home because I still remembered what happened before I blacked out. The Bandid took me, I still have yet to figure out where.

I tried opening my eyes again, it took me a few tries until I was able to open them. My vision was blurring in and out and everything around was spinning.

I groaned touching my temple to try and ease the pain. I lay holding my head until I couldn't feel any more pain.

I started checking for anything missing.

My body didn't look disfigured only a slight bruise here and there. I checked for the mystery items I made sure I had before that evil thing took me.

To my relief the necklace was still around my neck, but to my dismay my book was nowhere in sight. Panic captivated me in a whirlwind of uncertainty and fear.

I knew I had grabbed it before passing out.

Did it fall, or worse, did the Bandid have possession of it?

I looked around the room and my vision started adjusting to the darkness. It was a small room without much furniture, a chamber for prisoners I presume.

Dark ancient symbols were written over the door, and the four corners of the wall.

It looked like a medieval torture chamber, dried blood stains littered the walls and floor, torn pieces of clothing adding to the tortured state.

There was a small lamp in the corner of the room giving me some sort of light, and a small window with bars on the other side was a chain against the wall.

Scratch marks were imprinted near the chains, a tortured soul had possibly tried to escape.

What about me, would I escape?

I involuntarily shivered and felt goose bumps just thinking of the prospect of not escaping this and meeting my death at the hands of those creatures.

I stood up and went to the door trying to pry it open.

Locked.

Next I made my way to the window and tested out the bars. They were old but strong. I did the only thing that came to mind and tried kicking down the door but it didn't even budge.

I stepped back until my back was against the wall. I ran and tried opening the door with brute force but that failed miserably. My shoulder hit the door hard and I hissed in pain rubbing my arm. The door hadn't made any sort of movement whatsoever.

That plan horribly failed and my arm was still pulsing in pain. My body was pressed against the door while I was weakly banging the door. I was starting to lose hope. This was pointless.

A loud click resounded throughout the room and I realized it was from the door. I immediately stood up and went to sit by the corner.

The door opened and two Bandids walked in but these ones were different from the one that abducted me.

Instead of being black with these small white star-like specks they were blue with white scratch-like marks all over. Their eyes were not white like the previous Bandid instead they were blood red, again no pupils just full out red, they also had no mouths or any other features youd see on a head.

How many of them were they?

Both the Bandids attention were on me and one of them walked and stood directly in front of me. It held up its hand beckoning me to place my hand in its. I slapped its hand away and stood up crossing my arms.

No way was I placing my hand on that thing. It narrowed its eyes at me but withdrew its hand.

How I so wished I was dreaming. The reality of the situation was sinking in, and I wanted no part of it, all I wanted was the safety and security of my family and friends. At home.

"So is this where you take me to your leader?" I asked rhetorically. Obviously I got no response they just turned their backs and started walking towards the door. I could do nothing but follow.

My eyes stealthily checking my surroundings for anyway to escape.

I was right about it being a dungeon and torture chamber, there were different types of cells, a solid door made of metal lining each cell. I heard different types of noises in each cell.

Some were screams, howls, cries of pain and loud banging of doors. I felt my heart become heavy as the fear in me started building up.

I didn't know what was in there but I was scared of whatever it was that lay behind the closed, and hopefully locked doors.

We finally reached the end of the hallway-hell-of-a-dungeon. The more we got to the end the more anxious I became of what I'd find.

There was still no sight of any exits, no openings of escape.

Everything that has happened was beyond my human understanding. It was just too crazy and no matter how many times I tried to think of this logically. It all came out illogical.

These type of creatures were never meant to exist, and why was I a part of it?

What role did I play?

I was living a normal life, living as a normal high school senior.

I had no complaints, but in a matter of days my life turned upside down. From the mysterious bow and arrow engravement on every girl. To the sudden disappearance of every one that had this engraved markings.

It seems only the girls were affected, I heard none of the boys make any remarks.

I looked at the bow and arrow engravement which was on my wrist, studying it carefully. This was what started it all.

A black engravement with symbols all around the bow, the engravement started from my wrist, nearing my elbow, the arrows were surrounded with a black mist.

None of it made sense, I couldn't even understand the symbols.

The Bandid's opened a door that led to a staircase. My attention was off my wrist and taken towards the stairs.

Just like the dungeons it looked ancient yet strong. With beautiful designs that were out of this world.

The walls were painted white, with crystal chandeliers hanging off the wall. Paintings and portraits were across the wall, each displaying a female with a bow and arrow, creatures that I had yet to see and to my surprise, males drawing swords and killing creatures.

Why then was the female population only affected?

We reached a certain door at the top the staircase. It didn't have a lock, the Bandid simply placed its hand on the door, closing its eyes.

I watched with astonishment as the door glowed with a faint light, the Bandid fully concentrated until-there was a click.

The door burst open, I looked behind quickly, but still no means of escape. I sighed, worriedly wondering if I'd ever escape and followed after the creature as it entered, but what I found inside shook the foundations of my body.

There was a desk right in the middle of the room with two individuals staring intently at me.

More and more questions bubbled up, but a distinct emotion also bubbled up within me.

Anger.

I felt all the blood drain from my face, and I knew I portrayed nothing but horror because right in front of me.

In front of me with smiles on their faces sat my principal, Miss Gen and the man who I never thought I'd see again.

I felt nausea build up inside me and I momentarily thought I'd lose my balance and fall.

"Hello and welcome Cecile," he said.
