The mysterious boy took a seat next to me.
"Oh here's our son Nathan." Mrs. Wallace smiled as she looked towards her son.
"Nice to have you here with us Nathan," My mom said.
She nudged me to say something.
"Welcome to the neighbourhood," I said unenthusiastically.

We ate dinner and the Wallace's and my mom began to start a conversation.
"Jessica?" Mom called me suddenly,
"Would you and Nathan like to go into the other room and watch TV or something?"
I was about to reply when he cut in.
"We would love to," He replied then dragged me into the living room.
"What the hell!" I shouted at him.
"I knew you wanted to be alone with me babe so now's your chance," He said smirking.
"No first of all, ewww and second - wait I don't think I even need to go on."
He sighed.
"So which school do you go to?"
"Riverton High," I mumbled.
"Great I'll get to see you everyday," He winked.
"Kill me now!" I rolled my eyes.
This boy was seriously getting on my nerves.
"Can I get your number?" He asked suddenly.
This boy is so annoying I want to strangle him.
"Sure. It's 000 no no no," I said grinning.
The rest of our conversation consisted of Nathan trying to flirt with me and me being me, shot him down every time.
I was so relieved when Mrs. Wallace yelled that it was time for them to go and I bit my lip to stop from grinning like the Cheshire cat.
"See you tomorrow at school love," He smirked and walked away.
Oh how I wish I could slap that smirk right off of his stupid face. How am I going to survive seeing him every single day for the next year?
I changed off my clothes and went to bed.
But a few minutes later I heard something hard being thrown against my window. I looked out and saw Nathan with rocks in his hand smiling at me through his bedroom window which happens to be 10 feet apart.
"Go to sleep!" I whisper yelled.
"I wanted to say good night to you first," He said looking at me with a glint in his eyes.
"Okay fine. Good night Nate."
"Is that your nickname for me? Hmm....I'll call you Jessie." He grinned.
My breath hitched. That's what Dad used to call me.
"Please don't call me that."
"It suits you. Good night Jessie," He said and closed the window.
I could see him walking away slowly. I did the same.
"Let's see if I'll survive day one with Nathan Wallace," I said to myself as I crawled into bed and closed my eyes.
