Anaivarukkum Vanakkam!
(Hello, everyone)
I am Yaris presenting the note of gratitude for my world of Hums of Yardbird. It has always been on my mind to do different poem work, and this Versification contest does stir my courage to begin.
I should thank Divyansh16 and Shivran86 for inspiring me with their phenomenal works Echoes of History and Defendu. Their petals hooked me and made me work out something for the contest. Do read their works to dive into two different worlds of history and sizzling love!
As I hovered to begin something, nothing got into my mind. It took me more than 3 days to realize how much I adore contrasting verses. To me, they trigger the mind more than any linear portrayal would. And writing them in short as 5 line quintains wasn't as easy as I thought. I must admit how much I had to work behind the scenes. Then over the screen and board to bring out these 30 poems. In every poetic duo, we have a yard bird, a convict, fluttering to be released for its quench of survival.
My personal life was hectic, the journey an uncertain ambrose, but now I can't blame it. Here we are bidding farewell to this collection. One of my dearest works on Indian myths and mythology.
I thank kindawhoresomexo stopperbuns ahkaswrites JulieDove4 LeahCailynn everyone who gave this book a chance and my inspirations for trying this book and making me confidently step forward. A word of appreciation to their versification works, Throes of Spring, Poetry of a Soul, My Versification entries 2023, and April Showers. Some amazing collection of inquisitive entries for the contest! What an awe-inspiring creator you all are!
At this moment, I present you with a few questions!
(Yes, we are doing it the traditional way.)
1. How intriguing did you find the verses?
2. Out of all the poems, which one stole your mind?
3. What was your first impression of this book, and how did it change?
4. How many mytho-elements were new to you? Which fascinated you?
5. Any questions for me about this anthology? Do shoot them here.
6. Words of suggestion? Please keep them coming.
May the joy of living blossom its flowers. May the shine of the sun enlighten us. Once again, I thank everyone!
Om Tat Sat.
