The last bell rang and we got out of the classroom.

"I'll come with to your locker." I said. He nodded slightly. "You're really sweet." I said. I noticed he blushed slightly.

"Saf!" I heard a familiar voice yell. I turned arpund and it was Mat. He was with Steph and Ro. Tyler turned around short after. As soon as Mat noticed it was Tyler i was talking to he looked at me weird. "Why are you talking to him? I told you about him." Mat said.

"I know. But I wanted to give him a chance. Everyone deserves a chance." I said. I looked at Tyler. He was just looking at the floor. His look was blank. No emotion.

"I wouldn't say everyone." Mat answered. I looked at him angry. Tyler and I turned around and walked away.

"I'm so sorry. I don't know what that was. I thought he was my best friend. I thought he would accept you." I said.

"I told that no one likes me. Everyone keeps away." He said. I looked at him.

"But that's not okay." I replied. "No one should feel like unaccepted."

"You're gonna be unaccepted if you keep hanging out with me." He said. I got nervous. I was the new girl. It would be the worst to be hated in the whole school.

We walked out of the school building.

"Bye Tyler." I said and hugged him.

"Bye." He said quietly as I pulled out of the hug. We both went into seperate directions to our homes.

I was almost at my house and then suddenly someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around. It was Steph.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I live here. See that house there? That's my house." She said as she was pointing to a house next to mine.

"I live literally right next to you." I said. She laughed.

"Well, that's great." She said. "Who have you met today?" She added. I got nervous. I didn't wanna tell her I've been hanging out with Tyler.

"No one exept you, Ro and Mat." I said nervously. She raised an eyebrow at me.

"C'mon, like I didn't notice you talking to Tyler." She said and I gulped.

"Yeah... Him too." I replied nervously. "Are you gonna hate me too? Like Mat?" I asked full of fear.

"Who said I'm gonna hate you. And who said Mat hates you." She said. I was relieved. "Tyler seems sweet. I'm totally okay with you hanging out with him. And Mat doesn't hate you. He was just mad that you weren't honest to him. You are his childhood best friend. He overreacted a bit. You could've told us you were talking to Tyler." She explained.

"I'm sorry. I wouldn't like if my best friend doesn't talk with me either. I guess that's fair." I said. "But I did try to get Tyler to sit with us at lunch, but he didn't want to. That's why I went to his table."

Then we got to our houses. "Nice talking to you Saf. I maybe stop over at your house with Mat later. He's coming to visit. Then you can apologise to him... And he can apologise to you." Steph said and I waved goodbye. I entered my house.
