My inspiration for writing this story is because there isn't that many Safiya Nygaard fanfictions but I love her so much and she so funny so I decided to write a book about her and her boyfriend. Hope you enjoy. ❤❤❤

Safiya's POV

It's the first day at my new school. Ever since we moved I've been thinking about this day. I'm dreading it. I don't know if I'll make friends. I don't know how big the school is. I'm so scared.

"Safiya!" I heard my mom call my name. I came into the kitchen and saw breakfast on the table. "Eat up. Your dad is already off to work and I'm going in five minutes." She said. I sat down and started eating.

"I'm off to work!" My mom said, kissed my forehead and exited. I continued eating until I felt good enough to start this nightmare of a school year.

I exited the house and locked the doors behind me. I made my way to school. 20 minutes later I saw the school building. I got super scared. I saw a group of guys infront of the school. I approached them and tried to get into the building without them noticing. Suddenly one of them pulled me by my backpack.

"You new? I haven't seen you around last year." The guy asked. I nodded. He smirked at me. "You're cute." He said and smiled sweetly at me.

"Thanks." I mumbled out. He let go of my backpack and I entered the school. I saw so many people in the hallway. When I looked around a bit I saw a familiar face. Matthew.

I know Mat since we were kids. Our parents know each other and so we became friends because our parents hung out a lot when we were little. We never lived in the same cities so when we started school there wasn't that much time for Mat and I to hang out. And now my family moved to the same city where Mat and his family lives. We'll get to see each other more.

"Mat!" I yelled across the hall and then realised that everyone was staring at me. I ran to Mat, hoping that everyone would ignore me.

"Saf! What are you doing here?" Mat asked. He didn't know we moved.

"My family moved here and this is where I go to school now." I said and noticed that he has his arm around the girl next to him.

"How do you know each other?" She asked. Mat spoke up.

"We're best friends. We were. When we were little. Then our parents just stopped hanging out. I never figured out what happened." Mat explained to the girl.

"My mom always said that it was because of school, but I never believed her." I said. Mat nodded.

"Oh, this is my girlfriend Steph." Mat said. She smiled. "And Steph, this is Safiya." He added.

"I thought my first day be worse than it is." I said. Mat smiled at me.

"Do you have the shedule?" Mat asked. I shook my head. "Then let's go get it. Steph, you wait for Ro here." He added. He motioned for me to follow him and he started leading me somewhere. My guess was the counselor's office.
