I texted Steph and half an hour later we met in front of our houses.

"Ready to go?" She asked. I nodded.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I said. We started walking towards Mat's house. "Her parents probably won't recognise me because it has been so long so just say that I'm a friend of yours." I explained the plan and she nodded. We got to Mat's house and Steph rang the bell. Soon the door opened and Mat showed up.

"Steph?-" He started, but Steph put a finger on his lips.

"We are trying to make your parents be friends again." Steph said. Mat nodded lightly. Steph quickly explained our plan. Then he let us in.

"Mom! Steph's here!" Mat said and his parents looked at us. Then they looked at me.

"And who's this?" His mom asked. Mat wanted to speak up, but I stopped him.

"I don't care about the plan anymore." I said to Mat and Steph. I took a step forward. "Do you recognise me?" I asked Mat's parents. They shook their heads. "Well, I recognise you." I added.

"Well then, who are you?" Mat's dad asked.

"Let me take you somewhere. Then I'll introduce myself to you." I said. They nodded. I led them out of the house. They locked the door and then we walked further. I led them to my house.

"Why here?" Mat's mom asked.

"Because." I answered.

"You really got no chill." Steph whispered. I nodded. I rang the doorbell. Soon my mom opened the door. Her eyes widened when she saw Mat's parents.
