Natsus POV

We stood there for what seemed like forever, staring into her eyes, those eyes that look so familiar but I don't know why.

"I'm sorry" she said as she rested her head on my chest, holding my hand as my cheeks heated up.

"We only just met but, I feel like we've been friends forever" She said with a smile as she looked down at our intertwined fingers.

"Yeah..."

Erzas POV

Those boys, so gullible I thought as a smile approached my lips.

"Why so happy?" I heard Jellal ask as he handed me a drink.

"We might actually have them back to normal by the end of this," I couldn't help but smile, "our family was getting along with each other even if they don't remember, the connection is still there."

"I'm glad you remember me, it hurt when you... you know," Jellal sighed as a sad smile crept onto his lips.

"I'm sorry I forgot to begin with," I said as I hugged him, the temperature rising as I did so.

"I-It's okay," he stuttered as his arms slowly wrapped around me. We stayed there for what felt like hours, until he loosened the grip. "Erza, I love you." I looked up at him shocked that he said it with such a calm expression, a warm and inviting smile spreading on his lips.

"Jellal I love you too!" I exclaimed as I reach onto my toes to give him a kiss.

"Ahhh!" a high pitched squeal cause the two of us to split, our attention concentrating on the source of the noise. "G-gray-sama please stop!" I look over to see Juvia holding Gray back as he head butted with Natsu.

"Oi Natsu, please knock it off," Lucy sighed as she got a hold of Natsu's arm and held onto him.

"What did you say ice princess?!" Natsu yelled as he tried to take a swing at him.

"You heard me flame brain!" at that moment gray stopped and looked at Natsu with a blank expression.

"Gray, are you okay?" Lucy asked but he just shook Juvia off and walked away.

"What happened to Gray?" I looked at Natsu and Juvia who were left dumbfounded, then turned to look at Lucy.

"Hey Lucy, can you go check on Gray? I have to finish getting everyone into their cabins," I said softly before Lucy nodded and followed after Gray.

"Okay so Juvia you will share a cabin with Lucy, Natsu you're with Gray." I said walking away hoping there would be no objections.

Lucys POV

I walked along the trail that had lead toward the fire pit, Gray sitting on a log that had surrounded the pit.

"Hey," I smiled sadly before sitting beside him waiting for his response.

"It was just like before," I heard him whisper just audible for my ears.

"Yeah it was huh?" I smiled sincerely at the ashes that had sat beside the pit. He looked at me as tears started to fill my eyes before I crashed into him. "I should have fought harder," I whimpered into Gray's chest as my tears soaked his shirt. "I s-should have f-fought harder... for him."
