Lucys POV

Mira had told us that we had arrived but I wasn't able to move, the scene just kept replaying in my head. He promised me... and all I did was quit I as my blurry vision managed to show his face.

***** Past Life*****

"Lucy!" Natsu yelled as he ran to me, dodging the soldiers on the battle field.

"Natsu, Fairy Tail can't win this one, can we?" I stated as I looked around, Juvia had passed and Gray wouldn't move, Levy and Gajeel fought back to back as the enemies continued to attack, Happy and Carla no longer conscious, Panther Lilli, Wendy and Romeo trying their hardest to protect them.

"We will I won't let Fairy tail f-" He began but was cut off as he coughed up blood, a bright light blinding us, making time feel like it was slowing down.

"Natsu..." I said as I looked down at the wound on his stomach, a blast of magic had created a whole through his side.

"I'll find you Luce... I promise, I won't... forget you" He said before he fell towards the floor.

"Natsu!" I yelled as I watched him fall, catching him in my lap before he hit the floor. "Natsu... you can't leave me behind." I looked up to find a soldier standing in front of me.

"Luce, I love you," he smiled trying to blink back the tears as a soldier grabbed my arm and lifted me up, Natsu falling to the ground. I looked around as tears seeped from my eyes upon seeing my guild crumble.

"Lucy Hearfillia, your under arres-" he began but couldn't finish. I held my hand to my chest and let an explosion of magic out.

"Lucy!" Natsu yelled as he crawled toward me, tears falling from his eyes faster than before.

"I love you too." I smiled before everything went black.

"Lucy, are you okay?" I heard Natsu ask, snapping me out of my memories. I can't let him remember how I left him I thought as a meaningless smile spread across my lips.

"Yeah, come on let's go!" I said as I stood up and raced out of the bus. As I got out the sunlight blinded me causing myself to miss the last step and crash into the person in front of me.

"M-Mira" I said as I looked up at her, the tears flowing down my face making it hard to make out her figure. She looked up with a sympathetic smile, her eyes shaking gently as tears threatened to leave her eyes.

"You remember?" She asked patting my head.

"Why! Why did I let myself-" I cried once I fell into her and cried.

"Luce?" I turned my head to find Natsu staring at me in fear. I whipped away my tears and ran into his arms.

"I'm going to check up on Erza, she has a check list." Mira said as she winked at me, standing up and walking off. That must be a list of who remembers I thought, forgetting that Natsu was still embracing me.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he pulled me off to the side.

"Nothing Natsu, I was just upset that's all." I looked away not wanting to meet his eyes again.

"That's not true, you wouldn't be crying if it was nothing," he said as he lifted my head to look into my eyes. It's weird, it's like I'm meeting him for the first time... that day we met was so long ago but... it was the best day of my life I thought as I placed a hand on his cheek without realizing.
