Juvias POV
"Would Natsu-san like some bento?" I asked as we sat together on the bus, Lucy and a little girl in front of me, Erza not to be seen. Natsu sat on the window seat with Lucy in front, the little girl sitting opposite to me.
"Yes please! Do you have any hot sauce?" he asked excited as he opened the lunch dish.
"Juvia thinks she does" I said as I looked through my bag before finding some.
"Is spicy chili okay?" I asked to get a quick nod in reply. Happy sat on my lap, gently pawing at my face as his stomach rumbled.
"Don't worry Happy, Juvia has some fish" I said as I got out a small fish from inside the bento container.
"Wow Juvia this tastes really good!" Natsu yelled as he stuffed his face.
"T-thank you Natsu-san" I said with a smile as Lucy popped up from behind with a sad pout.
"I can't seem to beat Wendy at knots-and-crosses" she said with a sigh as a little girl popped up from next to her.
"Oi, you're the one who gave me that medicine, thanks!" Natsu yelled as he continued to gulp down another sausage octopus.
"Yeah! I'm glad it worked" she said with a smile that could light up a day.
"Juvia" I heard Erza call from beside me, causing me to look up at her.
"Y-yes?" I asked nervously as I watched Gray walk past her and sit on the seat I sat on beforehand.
"I would like to sit next to Natsu for this ride, we have something to discuss" she said gesturing for me to sit up.
"Why?" Natsu asked as he looked up at her, food scraps left over on his face.
"Okay Erza-san, Juvia will sit with Natsu-san next time" I said as I got off the seat, Happy jumping off my lap and Erza sat down. I walked over to Gray and stood, staring at the empty seat beside him.
"Aren't you going to sit?" he asked surprising me for a moment.
"Ah- yeah I am" I said sitting down beside him, looking at him as he stared out the window.
"I like it better when you talk in third person, it suits you" he said as he glanced in my direction, my heart beat rising as he continues to stare.
"O-okay, Gray-sama" I said as a blush covered my face.
"The blush suits as well, but only when I talk to you" he said as he moved closer, an amused smile tugging at his lip. As he moved in closer, the space between us grew smaller and smaller as his eyes began to sink lower, his breath brushing my lips softly.
"Okay everyone, we're about to leave so please ensure you secure anything that could move throughout the bus during the rest of the trip" Mira said, causing both Gray and I to jerk back with burning blushes.
"S-sorry" I managed to squeak out as I faced the front stiffly.
"Yeah, whatever" Gray said as his attention when back to the view through the window. My face started to cool down as I took deep, quiet breaths. I stole a glimpse at Gray, his body now leaning against the window as his head rested on the seat. He looked over to me and caught my gaze.
"This isn't comfortable" Gray said as he grabbed my waist and pulled me close.
"You know its not nice to laugh at other people" he mumbles loud enough for my ears only before grabbing my waist and pulling me to lay on him, resting his chin on the top of my head.
"What are y-you doing, Gray-sama?" I asked him before looking up, his eyes shut as his head slipped down and nuzzled into my hair. Why is he acting like this? I thought as I snuggled in, getting the weird familiar feeling of warmth.
Grays POV
*****Flash Back- before getting on the bus once more*****
When Juvia had left with Natsu to the bus, I got up and turned to Erza, Jellal and Mira.
"Have you guys gotten any, strange images pop into your head?" I asked curiously as I looked back towards Juvia, her hair swaying in the breeze as she brushed it behind her ear and entered the bus. Knowing Erza she would have gotten them first.
"Gray?" Mira asked as I looked back to her, the expression on her face was like seeing an old friend come out of a coma.
"We're the only ones so far" Jellal said as he gestured to all of us standing here, a sad expression on his face. Erza stayed quiet as she walked over to me, extending her right arm as she pulled me into her.
"Erza?" I asked confused as tears fell from her eyes.
"I-I'm sorry you lost Juvia" she said as the memory of my earlier dream popped into my head.
"S-she died, protecting me" I mumbled as I remember watching the smile from her face fade as did whatever life was left in her.
"It's okay Gray, she's okay" Erza said as she let me go and dried her tears.
"I should have listened to you, you told me to tell her how I felt... I thought she already knew" I said as I tried to wipe away the constant fall for tears.
"You got a second chance to change that" Jellal said as he placed a hand on my shoulder before entering the bus.
"Those memories were from our past life" Mira said as she walked past me towards the bus, turning back to show me a birth mark that looked identical to mine.
"Fairy Tail will live forever" She said before she continued to walk forward and onto the bus.
"Juvia..." I mumble worried as the death of my friend popped into my head.
"Don't worry, she'll get her memories back sooner or later, you might just need to help her" Erza said as she started to usher me forward.
"It took you this long to realize, the feelings you have for her now, she's had them since the day she met you" Erza said as we walked to the bus, the thoughts in my head driving me crazy.
*****Current time*****
This time, I won't let her go, she's mine I thought as I looked down at her, my heart race increasing as my eyes wouldn't leave her sleeping face.
