Wendys POV

"Carla! Where are you?" I called out as Juvia clapped her hands.

"Here kitty, here kitty kitty!" she called causing me to smile.

"Thank you," I say not making eye contact. It felt weird talking with Juvia, getting her help... It felt so familiar.

"Eh? What for?" she asks me and I can't help but let my smile grow.

"For being so kind to me, we were strangers not long ago and now it's like we've know each other our whole lives." I smile as the words escape my lips. "I-I mean it is really nice to have you a-accompany me to find my cat!" I blush waving my hands around to try to make the mood less weird.

"Juvia agrees with you," I heard her reply causing me to stop. "Everyone is so kind here, it's like we're one big family!" she gleams as she continues her search.

I looked into her eyes, my breath hitching when my head began to flood with different images. Images of a building, a guild, everyone singing and laughing. Then the images turned dark, fire was filling each happy moment with destruction, death. I took in deep breaths as I felt like I was drowning.

"Wendy-chan!" I was pulled out of my thoughts to find Juvia shaking me, lighting illuminating the darkened sky. "We need to find Carla before the storm reaches us." Juvia hurried as she started searching quicker. I nodded in agreement as we both drastically searched for my friend.

"Wendy-chan! Its Carla!" I look up to see Juvia bending under a tree to pick her up, turning around with twigs in her hair.

"Thank you," I giggled taking her in my arms and holding her close.

"You're welco-" she began but was interrupted.

"Juvia! Wendy!" we both turn around to see Lucy and two others frantically rushing over to us.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" Levy and Lucy exclaimed before tackling me in a hug. I began tearing up, the feelings of my friends arms wrapped around me brought all those images into my head once more.

"Of course! Juvia took care of me," I said looking over to the girl who was engulfed in a hug by Gray.

Grays POV

As soon as Natsu told us that the girls were missing I jumped onto my feet and ran for the door.

"Gray!" Erza called as I passed her on the path. I scanned the area around us but the only others I could find were Lucy and Levy.

"Wow Natsu ran fast," Levy said as I walked over to them.

"We're about to check the forest, wanna join?" Lucy asked and before I could answer she spoke again. "We've already searched the camp grounds." With a sigh I walked with the girls and into the forest.

"Juvia?!" we called in unison, walking around the forest in search for the two idiots that left the campsite without letting anyone know. The sounds of thunder echoed through the sky, Levy jumping before rushing over to Lucy.

"It's going to storm soon; we need to find them quickly before we're all stuck in the middle of the storm." I looked away from the two girls, my calm composure starting to turn.

"Damn it." I looked around in search of the two, ignoring the sudden drop in the atmosphere.

"Wendy-chan, it's Carla!" my head whips around with the sound of her voice.

"Juvia?" I look around frantically. The expression on my face softens once my eyes lay on her.

"Juvia! Wendy!" Lucy called as she hurried over to the two, Levy and I in pursuit. Juvia smiles and waves at me, my heart pacing fast as my speed picks up. Once I stood in front of her I gave her no time to react; I pulled her into a hug and held her close.

"Gray-sama, are you okay?" her sweet voice drowns out the sounds of the thunder and the three girls beside us.

"Next time tell me when you're going to leave me, I don't want to go through the pain of not knowing." I bury my head into her hair to breath in her pleasing scent.

"Gray-sama-" she pushes me away to look me in the eye, "Juvia sorry that she didn't tell you but she promises she won't leave you again." Just as I was about to pull her back into my arms, a crack of lightning spreads throughout the sky to startle all of us.

"Come on guys, we have to get back to the cabins." Lucy began to look around, a confused expression on her face.

"But which ways home?"
