Chapter 11

Grays POV

I walked into the shared cabin with Natsu and slumped on the bed that had my bag on it, the sound of the shower filling the air.

"That's weird, Natsu can barely put his clothes away." I opened the cupboard confused as I saw half of it filled with my clothes, the other half that of a females. "What the?" I questioned as I made my way over to the shower door. I knocked three times and waited for a replay, but all I could hear was the shower turning off and light footsteps getting closer.

"Lucy-san, if you're unhappy with the cabin arrangements talk to Natsu-san, he-" she stopped when opening the door, my tired eyes meeting hers.

"G-Gray-sama, Juvia is sorry she thought you were-" I turned around and rushed off out the door before she could finish. I ran over to where I'm guessing Natsu's new cabin was as I tried to cool my flustered face.

"Natsu!" I yelled as I stomped up the steps that lead to the cabin.

"What!" I heard him complain as he opened the door and closed it behind him.

"Why the hell are you not in our cabin?!" I asked angrily as I stopped to look at his blushing face.

"Juvia wanted to be with you and I wanted to be with Lucy, what's the problem?" he asked as if it was a good idea not to give me a warning.

"What's the problem? I don't know, maybe the fact that I just walked in and saw Juvia dripping wet in a towel!" I yelled frustrated with the person in front of me.

"HAHAHA! Are you serious? that's hilarious!" he started rolling on the floor laughing as tears streamed out of his face.

"Where's Lucy?" I asked not even wanting to talk to this dumbass.

"She's taking a-" I ignored him as I opened the door, Natsu tackling me to the floor as he tried to block my vision.

"N-natsu what the hell?! I told you to leave me be," I heard Lucy yell before I felt Natsu weight flying off of me.

"Sorry Lucy that was my fault." I didn't bother looking up because I could tell there was a reason Natsu didn't want me to see her and I really couldn't be bothered with knowing what the two were doing.

"What do you want?" she asked tapping me on the shoulder, allowing me to look.

"Juvia and Natsu swopped." I looked up and her smiling face as she helped me to my feet.

"Yeah I know," she sighed before walking over to where Natsu landed and helped him up as well.

"You're okay with this?" I asked knowing how much she didn't want him to remember.

"Yeah, there's nothing I can really do," she said as she held her towel tight to her chest as Natsu stepped in front of her to block my view.

"Okay then," with that I left the two alone, not wanting to get on Natsu's bad side. "I've never seen him so protective before." I thought to myself and couldn't help but smile once I got to the cabin. Then again, I would be too if I had such a connection with a girl. "Juvia you decent?" I asked as my hand grasped the handle, ready to open it.

"Yes Gray-sama," her sweet soft voice called from beyond the door allowing me access.

"Sorry about before, I was just a little shock-" I stopped once I made eye contact with her, the only thing she was wearing was a sweater that was too big for her and she laid on the bed with a book in her hands.

"Did Gray-sama visit Lucy-san and Natsu-sama." I couldn't help but cringe once I heard the 'sama' after his name.

"You can only call me by that name, got it," I spoke as I plonked on the bed next to her.

"What, Natsu?" she asked in an innocent voice even though she knew what I was talking about. I avert my eyes from the ceiling to her direction, noticing that she was searching her bag for something.

"What are you looking for?" I asked her as she just ignored me and continued to search. "Hey didn't you hear me?" I asked as I sat up right still staring at her.

"M-my stuffed doll, I can't find it," she whimpered as she started ripping through all her belongings, moving into mine.

"Why's it so important?" I asked as I began to help her look, stealing glances of her face every now and then.

"Juvia can't sleep with out it," she sighed giving up once she noticed it wasn't anywhere in her bag.

"But you slept on the bus just fine," she looked at me before turning her head away with a blush.

"W-well I guess it was e-easy to sleep beside y-you, gray-sama." With that she reached for her phone about to text one of her sister I guessed.

"Then just sleep with me again."

Juvias POV

I stared at Gray in shock as what he just said.

"G-Gray-sama!" I blushed furiously at what he just said. Without another thought his face turned scarlet red and he moved away from me, accidentally falling off in the process. "I-is Gray-sama okay?" I moved toward the end of the bed and looked down at him, his arm covering his face.

"Damn that hurt," was all that come out of his lips before he got up and walked toward the shower.

"Juvia hopes Gray-sama is okay," before I could go back to reading the door slammed open and Erza walked in.

"Natsu yo-" she looked at me with a confused expression. "What are you doing here?" she walked over to me and inspected the cupboards.

"Juvia I forgot my towe-" Gray began as he walked out with only his boxes on, my face reddening at the sight.

"Gray what the hell!" Erza exclaimed before kicking him into the wall.

"Gray-sama!" I ran too his side and helped him up.

"What was that for?!" he exclaimed as he pushed me aside and got into a fighting stance.

"Why would you walk out like that if you knew Juvia was here?!"

"I didn't think it would matter, she's used to i-" he stopped himself before he could go on to look over at me. "I didn't think, sorry."

"Gray?" Erza sighed before looking over to me, giving me the signal to leave.

"Okay." I smiled at Gray-sama before walking outside into the cold night. Sighing, I started to walk on the path that lead from my cabin and connected with the others.

"Why is Erza and Lucy acting so... kind?" I thought as I continued on, thinking about their weird behavior. As I continued on, lost in my thoughts, I didn't realized that I had started to wonder too far from the camp.

"Hello?" I questioned as I looked around, the sound of rustling bushes and soft whimpers filled the air.

"J-Juvia?" I look over to see a small figure emerge from the bushes beside me.

"Wendy, right?" I asked the small girl causing her too nodded her head, in one swift move she ran to me, the tears flowing out quicker as she tackles me to the ground.

"I-I... I-" she stuttered as she held onto me, unable to get the words out.

"It's okay," I said as I stroked the small girl's hair in hope that she calms down.

"I lost Carla!" she exclaimed before falling to the ground and taking me down with her. I watched the small girl cry over her lost cat and I couldn't help but let a few tears fall.

"Juvia w-will help you f-find Carla!" I cried as I held her closer.

"T-Thank you, Juvia-chan."
