H.E.S.
The wedding's being held on the beach, and they decided to set up early so the guests could see the scenery and take pictures before people actually came expecting a wedding. To sum up the overall look, it's bloody gorgeous. Tiffany really has an eye for decorating and I have to say, the place looks incredible. I look down at Niall, beaming, but his face shows slight dread and I nudge his shoulder,
"You okay?"
He nods and gives me a small smile before he points towards the tapestries hanging from pedestals,
"I like those," Niall says quietly, "you think we can get them?"
"Anything for you," I kiss his forehead continuously until Tiffany tells us to go to our assigned places.
"I'll see you later," he leans up and kisses me right before he walks to his normal guest area. I have to stand next to my father, being his kid and one of the best men. I stand at his side with my hands behind my back, keeping my eye on Niall.
He sits next to Louis, knowing that his role in the rehearsal or the wedding in general wasn't that big. I see the two of them spark a conversation and I smile, knowing he's okay.
I wonder about the little things about his thoughts; whether he wants kids, what he wants for us after the wedding...
"Jeez..." I mutter to myself, blushing as I think about all these overwhelming yet exciting things that could be happening to us in a matter of time.
"You love him, don't you?"
I look to one of the girls who was calling me out from across the aisle,
"Yeah," I answer, "I love him."
"I can see it in your eyes." She smiles, "You two getting married?"
"Yeah, soon I hope."
"I can tell you two have something more than a simple relationship."
"How could you tell that?"
She looks down at her feet a smile still itching on her features,
"I met a guy through Tiffany. His name was Elijah. He was the best thing that ever happened to me. Got engaged, fell in love, and even better; we had a typical Romeo and Juliet story."
"Oh really?"
"My parents didn't want me marrying a poor boy, and vice versa, so we stayed secret, loved behind the walls. But..."
"I can tell by the wording of this story, that things didn't end up well."
She chuckles, running her hand through her curly brunette hair,
"He died in a car accident. He was dropping me off to work because my car was in the shop," the girl sighs, "it was three years ago but I still miss him every day. We were engaged and he looked at me the same way you look at him."
"I'm so sorry," I say with condolences, but she waves me off,
"Everything happens for a reason. Elijah came into my life to revive my hope in love. He may not be here now, but your relationship with Niall is something that keeps that hope fueled."
"You know Niall?" I say with a happy expression,
"Tiffany never stopped talking about him," she says with a smile and it stings, because maybe somewhere in that cold heart she did love Niall at some point. But she lost her chance at him; he's with me now and that's that.
"Interesting," I say with a faux grin,
"When did you two meet?"
"We used to work together," I tell her and she coos, "he almost locked me into the building and since then, I just couldn't stay away from him."
"That's cute," she says honestly, "I'm really sorry that she cheated on him, really she was--"
"We don't like to talk about it," I stop the topic with a wave of my hand, "No need to apologize for her."
She shrugs and continues,
"but, what happened to your job?"
"Got fired..."
"By who?"
"The groom."
Her eyes widen and we both laugh quietly,
"Your own dad fired you?"
"He's like my step-dad, but the most involved out of them all. So he feels like he can do whatever he wants but in reality he's just as terrible as the rest of them."
"Figures," she chuckles, "hey, I never caught your name?"
"Oh I'm Harry," I say, reaching out to shake her hand, "You?"
"Eiserle," she tells me and I compliment her on her name,
"That is a gorgeous name," and that's all we can talk about before the actual rehearsal starts. It's quite boring to say the least, to just walk through everything we'd be doing less than 24 hours later. I made a mental note to mention the idea of a non-traditional wedding to Niall.
But when I turn to look for him, he's gone, out of his seat and nowhere to be seen.
