      "Mal! Mal, over here please!"

I sigh, glancing up at my brother as we watch the reporters nearly eat Mal up. The blonde's eyes frantically jump around the crowd, a look of shock dancing across her features.

"Are we gonna help her?" I inquire, crossing my arms over my chest.

Ben chuckles, taking a bite out of his apple before handing it to me and stepping into the crowd without anwsering my question.

"Alright, enough!" My brother pushes his way through the crowd, kindly excusing himself as he makes his way to his girlfriend.

I groan in disgust, tossing his apple over my shoulder before following him into the crowd. "Okay people, make a hole. Move, move. Excuse me!" I shove against the cameras and outreached arms. Then, I not-so-gracefully stumble to the front, laughing at my uncoordination as I squeeze myself inbetween the happy couple. I wrap my arms around both of their shoulders, grinning at the cameras. "Aren't these people just the greatest?" I sarcastically cheer.

"King Ben, did you ever expect to be with a villain kid?"

I drop my grin, glaring at the woman that asked the question, "did you ever expect to be a nosey bit-"

"Okay! We're done here." Ben cuts me off, sending a warning glare my way as he turns Mal and I away from the cameras.

Fairy Godmother steps infront of us, shushing the crowd before finally getting rid of them all together.

"Thank you guys!" Ben calls to the retreating crowd.

"Why are you thanking those pests?" I narrow my eyes at my twin, scoffing as I realize he's too caught up in Mal to care about what I have to say. "Okay well I'll go jump off a cliff now." I sarcastically call, still nothing. Not even a glance.

"Mal, Ben, Beverly." Fairy Godmother excuses herself with a gentle smile.

"Fairy Godmother," the three of us reply in unison.

"Whew," Mal sighs earning a laugh from Ben. I roll my eyes at how whipped he is, taking a step inbetween the couple once again.

"Wifey," I grin, leaning into the girl, "you look pretty today." I compliment, a tired sigh escaping my lips. I lazily wrap an arm around the girl's shoulders, shooting my brother a victorious grin as Mal wraps an arm around my waist. "Hi, I'm Beverly, but you can call me Misses Steal Your Girl."

Mal and I laugh at Ben's annoyed groan, "can you leave?"

"Me? Aren't you the one with a council meeting?" I retort, smirking as he frantically checks his watch.

"I have a council meeting!" My twin repeats, "I'm so late."

"If we don't do a fitting for your dress, you will be dancing in your bath robe. Okay? Come on." Evie pops up behind Mal, grabbing her arm and dragging her off as she bids her goodbye to Ben.

"I'm going with them." I mutter, pointing in the direction of my friends. I kiss Ben on the cheek before rushing off to catch up with the ex-villains. "Bye, Benny!"

Back in Mal and Evie's room I plop onto Mal's bed, flipping through her spell book. "What do you need all these for?" I mutter, turning the page once more. "A clothes changing spell? Really?"

"Oh! Okay, I cannot breathe." Mal gasps, ignoring my comments as Evie adjusts her dress.

"Well, you can breathe after Cotillion." Evie replies as she fluffs up the bottom of Mal's dress.

"No she can't," I interject, "she has royal things to do. Thank God for you by the way, Mal. If you weren't here I would have to be doing all the work." I sigh, lying down on the bed.

Mal nods, pointing at me, "exactly. I have about twenty events directly behind it and I don't know any of them." The blonde sighs, glancing briefly over at her jacket.

Evie ignores the girl, kissing her hand and muttering 'impeccible" to herself.

"Evie?" Mal questions, now staring at the jacket.

"Mhm?" The blue haired girl hums.

"Do you ever think about what we'd be doing if we were back on the Isle right now?" Mal asks.

Evie simply laughs at the girl, shaking her head, "that's funny."

The T.V. starts playing loud music causing me to groan, "look at that, kiddo. You're on T.V."

The television begins to talk about Mal and Ben's lunch with Aladdin and Jasmine while Mal plops onto the bed. It flips to a shot of us today, the reporter talking about how excited Mal must be for Cotillion. The blonde gasps as the woman on T.V. mentions her becoming a Lady of the Court. She runs around the bed, plopping beside me before grabbing her spell book from my grasp. She spells another book and begins reading over it earning a look of disapproval from Evie.

"I know Mal's secret to fitting in and Ben wouldn't like it one bit." Evie chides, "Come on, haven't you and Ben had enough secrets?"

I roll my eyes, sitting up next to Mal, "she's right, Ben wouldn't like you using that. How about I use it instead? I have so much stuff to do before my coronation."

"Ah, ah!" Evie grabs the book out of my hands. I frown, pouting my lip at the girl but she shakes her head.

"Boo you," I mumble, standing from my spot. I slowly pull back the curtains, staring out at the Isle. "What's it like out there?" I ask, turning to glance at the girls.

"Why?" Evie narrows her eyes at me and I shrug.

"I wanna go," I anwser honestly, "I'm gonna be crowned Queen soon and I've never even seen part of my own kingdom."

Okay maybe that wasn't the whole truth, but I wasn't lying so no harm done right? To be honest I wanted to have a chat with Gaston.!Ever since I'd heard about what he did to my parents I've wanted nothing more than to find him and have a friendly chat. Yeah, friendly.

"No way," The blue haired girl comes up beside me, closing the curtains abruptly. "don't even think about it, the people there are bad news."

"You're from there." I point out, turning back to Mal who has stayed oddly quiet throughout this whole conversation.

"Let me rephrase: the people there are misunderstood, but they still aren't safe to be around. They don't exactly like royals."

I let out a sigh, looking over at Mal's jacket, "Just a thought." I mutter, "I'm gonna go find Ben, hopefully his meeting is over."

"Beverly?" Evie calls as I open the door.

"Yeah?" I turn to the girl.

A look of worry dances across her face as she continues, "please don't go to Isle, promise me."

I sigh, nodding my head, "mhm."

Evie smiles at me before nodding back. Little did she know: my fingers were crossed behind my back the whole time.

Author's Note:

WOW this got alot more attention than I expected it to. 1k+ reads in like 2 days?? That is absolutely insane, thank you all so so much for all the love, it means the world to me.

I wanna make this short and sweet so I have like 3 things to let you guys know:

Updates will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

I've been wanting to make a Harry fic for months simply because Thomas is my dad (and also because Harry's character is so fun and wild). The only reason I didn't start it sooner is because I wanted to wait until D2 came out so it could be relevant to Descendants.

I promise as we progress the story will get wayyy better just bare with me until we get the plot rolling.

Oh, and I didn't edit this very well so if there are any grammar or spelling errors ignore it. Thanks.

I hope you all enjoyed!
