i am an avid reader

i search for works of art

wish i could read some more

just tell me where to start

i comment like a madman

don't know where to begin

i comment everywhere i can

sometimes i feel like kin

i love reading all the poems

it's like a treasure hunt

pearl, opal, ruby tomes

all special jewels i want

some just take my breath away

goose bumps prick my skin

on some pages i want to stay

some others draw me in

loving what my eyes do see

i taste what my two lips do read

i wish this is where i can be

all day long my need to feed.
