"How?" I asked surprised which she laughed

"Well to tell you the truth I was once an actress so I know when someone is acting because I'm good at it myself you should have known the day you saw me crying" she said which h I nod "and again my grandson doesn't belive in lover rather he believes in sex and pleasure which he thinks money can give him all that so why stress over getting married" she points out "he did this because I'm forcing him and giving pressure and same way his mother is pressuring him to get married so he could get the inheritance"

"Oh!" I said surprised

"So you see even the Idea of pretending to have a fiance that is definitely his mother idea but I don't care all I want is for him to be happy that's all"

"I'm sorry for fooling you" I said which she wave it off

"Don't be sorry dear in fact I'm glad he found someone as you who is truthful and has consciousness" she said "you know if it was someone else she could've taken advantage of the situation and helped herself out but no you decided to tell me the truth without even letting him know why?" She asked which I gulped

"Hummmm" I tried to speak but couldn't

"It's okay you don't have to tell me"

"I will '' I said quickly because I just don't know why I like her " I'm telling you the truth because I know how it hurts to believe something is real while in the real sense it's not. I was once a victim" I gulped '' there was a guy I loved who actually was going to marry me because he promised too and I believed him and gave him my whole. My everything including my soul and body but no he never loved me all he ever wanted from me was sex" I tried not to breakdown" you know at first I didn't want to give him my body till after the wedding but I things happened and I gave into sex. I packed out from my parents home and moved in together with him not knowing that would be my greatest mistake. He started having sex with me once in a day before changing to twice or thrice a day which I complained but he said I will get used to it seeing I can't take it any longer I decided to leave but he didn't let me rather he begin locking the door whenever his going out with my phone" I sob

"I wanted freedom but he didn't give me rather he begin drugging me and will have his way with me or even call his friends to join him" I couldn't stop the tears and I cried which Mrs Amanda Zion Grandma held me saying soothing words

"It's okay dear. Everyone has a painful past. What only matters is to let go of your past and also learn from it. So cry no more dear. One day you will get your justice" she said which I cried for awhile before cleaning my face "Go wash your face in the toilet" she said which I did and apply some makeup to hide any sign that shows have cried

I walked back to meet her and sat close to her "You know what Scar?" She asked which I nod " I'm not using your past against you and I promised to help you through" she said "and about the charade between you and Zion let its continue don't let him know I find out and wedding will take place as planned"

"But I don't love him"

"I know dear it's gonna be a real wedding and if after one year of  the marriage you don't love him I promised to cut the ties but give it a try" she said which I was about to argue " don't say anything yet let's the time come and I know you both are planning to bring fake pastor and everything" she said which I opened my mouth to speak "Don't worry I know zion so much to give him any chances to fool me so I put a recorder in the back seat knowing fully well to close the blinds that will let the driver hear anything you both said because he knows I will get feedback from the driver" she said giving me a wink. I just can't believe this old woman with her  tricks

"But how is it possible to have a marriage without love or feeling?" I asked

"He loves you but he doesn't know how to express it trust me"

"But" I tried to speak

"Shhh let wait and see after the wedding with months if he doesn't confess his love to you I promise to get you both a divorce" she said which I didn't know what to say again

"I will rethink about it but I don't know what to tell my parents" I said truthfully

"Don't worry about them, that's one of the reasons I asked you to let me meet them. I promised to let them understand"

"Thank you" I smiled because I know it's gonna be difficult to convinced them both

"I should be thanking you because you're helping me out not the other way round" she said "I heard you will be his new secretary?"

"Yes I'm resuming work tomorrow"

"Good at least with you around I hope he gets his shit together" which I smiled "give him a little tough time to know your value dear"

"I promised"

"Good and do give me your parents number I will call them myself so I could meet up with them" and I type it for her

"I need to be going because no one is at home now"

"Alright then. See you some other time" and I hugged her before walking out

"Ma I will be dropping you off at your destination" the driver said holding the car door for me which I entered thanking him

"Thank you for the drive" I said after he dropped me off

"You're welcome ma" he said driving off which I wave at him before walking to the doorstep I tried to open it then remember no one was at home so I used my own spare key to open the door

Almost at the stairs when a knock came in which I waked back to check who it was "Good evening" the aged woman said pushing the door open to help herself in

"Sorry we aren't open today" I said

"I know but please I'm really hungry I'm just coming from the hill help me with any fast food I will pay and leave" she pleaded which I sighed defeated

"Okay" , she smiled and walked out the return with five extra people, "but ma I thought you're the only one?" I asked

"I'm sorry but I know you can do this" she said which I was about to talk then the door was open and zion walked in "Good your brother is already back" she said which I look at her before looking at Zion

"Hos not my brother" I answered

"You're boyfriend then I know he will help you" she said helping herself and her friends to settle down which Zion walked over

"I think you will need a helping band" he said tieing the apron around his neck which I just stand there staring at him "you can ogle after me when we are done but right now we need to attend to the customers" he said which brought me back from my thought and we begin working after I serve them a cup of water and drink.

In no time we were done which I served while Zion washed the dishes we used. I assisted him but there was no conversion between us just we were both acting like a stranger

"Thank you for the meal" the ladies said waving at us before leaving. I quickly locked the door and packed everything on the table before cleaning it.

Saying I'm not glad for Zion's help will be ungrateful of me because he has really tried " what should I get you?" I asked him  seeing I didn't offer anything

"Let's just eat the remaining Macarons and steak that will do" he said which I set the table quickly and we ate in silence

After arranging everything and was about to escort Zion out seeing its late already I heard the click of the door and quickly drag Zion up the stairs to my room before locking the door from outside as I turned to speak to him our lips clashed which Zion used that opportunity to deepening the kiss making me to moan out in pleasure
