Gwen's Pov
Next Day

Mommy!! Mommy!!!

I jump out my sleep, gasping for air. Sweat covering my whole body.

His voice consumes every corner of my mind. His red face, the tears falling from his beautiful blue eyes.

I let out a loud scream, the cracking of lightening, clashing down with me. The rumble of thunder falling after. I look towards the window, the charcoal grey sky has remained like that since Aiden was taken.

Carlisle had immediately pulled the other kids out of school, informing them of what happened. Jarvis, James' parents and sister, as well as Carlisle's friend Zeke and his wife are here.

Amun and they had arrived just before the video message had ended, and Aro only a few minute later contacted Carlisle notifying him of their arrival in two days, which is today.

My mom has contacted Amun again, letting him know that she, as well as my birth parents and a few others, are coming with her, and they will arrive soon.

Too much is happening all at once. My mind feels like its not getting to process one piece of information, because another happens immediately after.

When Edward and Jasper found Emmett and Rosalie, they were badly beaten. Emmett's both arms ripped off from his body, while Rosalie left leg was torn off.

She, just like me has not taken Aidie's kidnapping well.

The first night, she couldn't stop crying. Emmett having to comfort his mate. Yesterday, she came to my door apologizing over and over again. She didn't move until Emmett came and got her.

I've completely sealed my room shut with ice, not letting anyone in. I needed time.

They all tried to get me to come out. Carlisle came letting me know that he is with me and reminding me that I am not alone and that he loves me, but I can't right now.

I feel like I'm slowly losing my mind. My world, my son.

If anything- no Gwen don't think like that. Nothing will happen to him. I won't let him get hurt.

I hear a soft knock on my door.

"Gwen, we haven't seen you in two days. I know you're hurting, we all are. But please come out." I hear Henry say, but I don't reply.

"Hey little man. Why don't you go downstairs with the others, let me talk to her." I hear Benjamin say, I go to thicken the ice, but he's already melting it.

"Hey stranger." He says, walking in the room.
"I've left you alone like you asked me, gave you time. When are you thinking to come down?" I remained silent just staring at him.

"Don't give me the silent treatment young lady."

"Not now Benji." My voice comes out soft and husky. I am well aware that every advanced hearing ear is locked unto our conversation right now.

"We are all here with you Darla." Disregarding what he said, I ask him.

"The Volturi is coming. Should I be worried?" He gives me an annoyed look, but I star back at him, blankly.

He let's out a sigh.

"They don't particularly like us. Not to long ago we stood against them." He answered truthfully, which I was grateful for.
"However, they don't take lightly when someone threatens their authority so, you never know. They might just surprise us."

"You'll be meeting your biological parents for the first time." He adds. I huff.

"A few weeks ago, we were having family dinner. We were all laughing, having a great time. Henry was playing Mario Kart on his new nintendo console that Emmett and they bought him for his birthday. Aiden was playing with Renesmee. The other ladies were in the kitchen with Ms. D and Esme. It was a great day." I tell him, staring off into the distance.

"Then some days later, someone attacks Ms. D's house and Henry and James are turned into vampires. My so called Uncle, kidnaps my son and wants me to join his little world domination party." I slowly turn to look at him.

"Meeting my biological parents is the least of my worries right now."

"D-"

"Benji, I always knew who I was. Of the power that I hold. But with all that is happening right now, the extent someone is willing to go to for power.

This is not going to be easy Benjamin. People are going to die. I don't think I'll be able to handle, anyone I care for dying." I tell him.

"Darla-"

"My son Benji? My Aiden. He took my baby. Ended my brothers life before he even got a chance to truly live. He just turned 18!" I shout and the atmosphere of the room begins to shift again.

"The boy, I have come to consider as another little brother to me, turned as well. They are threatening everything that I care about. And just like that day when I first got my powers, I can feel my control slipping." I fist my hands tightly when they start to glow purple. The atmosphere of the room becoming very cold. Looking back to him, his eyes stare at me in shock.

"I will do anything to protect my family Benjamin." I told him seriously looking directly in his eyes before completely calming down.
"Anything."

"When did that start happening?"

Looking to the door, I see Amun and Carlisle standing there.

"I started feeling weird, before Henry's birthday. But I didn't give it much thought. It was until I woke up on Henry's birthday drenched in sweat,my emotions going haywire, my hands glowing purple. That's when I realized that my powers were getting stronger.

I started training a few days after. Doing the exercises you guys taught me and trying some new things of my own." I explain.

"The last time I felt this way I was 16, but this...this feels different. It scares me. I was still conscious of my surroundings then. But now... it feels as if I make one wrong move, I'll lose all sense of reality."

"Should of never let you leave Egypt."

"I would of ran away." I say truthfully and he chuckles.

"I'll be down in five minutes." I tell them and they nod, leaving the room. Carlisle hesitates but leaves eventually.

After freshening up, I look myself over  in my floor length mirror. My tired eyes looking back at me. Not even bothering to fix my hair, I just leave it down.

Why couldn't we just be normal Darla. Our baby...

I wipe away the stray tear, that fell from my eyes. Looking at my hands.

It slowly starts glowing purple, my power activating. The entire room darkens and lights up in a vibrant royal purple.The glow of my purple eyes, changed.

Her eyes.

I looked outside seeing that the sky remained the same, and that only the atmosphere of the room darkened.

That's new.

"Love are you finished?" He knocks.

Snapping out of it, the room goes back to normal, as if nothing happened.
I walk to the door opening it, and walking straight into his arms, wrapping mines around his waist. His scent calming my nerves a bit.

I missed him.

"I missed you too love."He says holding me tightly. My face pressed into his chest.

The past few days have been too much for me. I miss Aiden. I want him here with me, but I know I can't be irrational. I can't have him being hurt. And I know Anderson won't hurt him, especially when he wants me to join him.

Finally pulling away from him, he holds my face in his hands. His eyes flickering between my own. The pure emotion of love, shined through them, as he watched me. He lowers my head slightly kissing my forehead, before raising it again and softly kissing my lips.

I wrapped my hands around his neck pulling him closer to me. Savoring the few moments we have together, before the storm hits.

I feel my eyes slowly filling with tears. I pull away, resting my head on his shoulder.

Everything's happening to fast.

"Stop crying please love, it pains my heart."

"Promise me Carlisle, you won't get hurt. None of you. I don't think I coul-"

"Shh love." He cups my cheeks. Wiping away my tears.
"You know I can't promise that. I can only promise to try my very best not to."

"I can't get his cries out my mind. It haunts me Carlisle. I'll lose my mind if he gets hurt." I tell him truthfully.

"Promise me. Promise me you won't do it alone, that you'll come back to me."

"I can only promise to try."

Cupping my face, he leans down, capturing my lips once again. Every emotion within us could be felt.

The fear, worry, the love we had for each other. We both knew we could not promise a definite, and I think it's what weighed our hearts more.

Slowly pulling away, so that I can catch my breath. We stare into each others eyes, neither of us wanting to move.

Breaking eye contact first, he places a chaste kiss to my forehead again, before taking my right hand in his left, leading us downstairs.

Walking into the living room, everyone looks to us. I couldn't find Henry, anywhere in the room when I looked for him.

I go to ask, but Edward answers me before I can.

"He went for a run with James and Jasper." Edward tells me.

Letting go of Carlisle's hand, I make my way over to Rosalie, pulling her into a tight hug. It may not be tight to her but whatever.

"I'm not mad. You both did all that you could've, and I'm so grateful." Dry sobs break out of her and I hold unto her tighter. A few tears falling from my eyes as well.

"How are you? Does it hurt?" I ask after pulling away from her.

"It did for awhile after Carlisle put us back together but not so much anymore." Nodding my head, I turn to Emmett. Giving the bear a hug as well.

"Missed you little G."

I went around hugging everyone. Going to hug Jewel, but she comes up to me first, slapping me in my face. Not too hard, but enough for me to feel it.

"Don't ever lock yourself up like that again." She says hugging me.

Letting her go, I finally see the person I want to see. He walks up to me, pulling me into a tight hug, but still paying mind of his vampire strength.We stay like that for a good few minutes before letting go.

"Missed you Henry."

"Missed you too sis."

"Really glad to have you back Ms. B. " James says. Winnie and his parents standing next to him.

"Love this is my friend Zeke and his wife Val." Carlisle introduces.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet the woman, that locked this old bachel- " His wife slaps him on the back of his head, shutting him up. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Forgive my husband. It's nice to meet you." She smiles.

"It's okay. You as well." Returning her smile.

"I don't mean to be a mood killer but, we have El royalty, Gwen's mum and the Volturi, about to arrive. A Fai king who kidnapped little Aiddie and is wanting to go to war with humans." Jacob says in one breath.

"I never thought I'd see the day, The Cullens work with the Volturi. Especially after- Honey!!" Zeke shouts holding unto his head again.

"Shut up Zeke."

"I guess it's somewhat true what he says." Luis says.

"I can imagine, Caius' shock when he found out." Emmett noted and they all laugh.

"He probably blew up." Bella adds and they laugh.

"Can we trust them?" I ask, looking up to Carlisle.

"The Volturi are many things, but I know that Aro will put differences aside for the matter at hand. Aro loves power yes, but not like this." Carlisle says, pulling me close to him.
"Aro would never work with Anderson." I nod.

"They're here." Alice says.
