Amun's Pov

"Amun-" I look up from my desk to Kedi, as she enters my office.

"We're all ready to go." I nod, getting up from my seat.

"I was thinking-" A faint white light, suddenly appears in the middle of the room.

"Amun?" A familiar voice comes from it.

"H-Honey?!" I couldn't believe this. She's alive.

"Amun...I can't talk long." She sounded weak.
"Anderson is looking for Darla. He's planning something, I'm not sure what. You have to protect her. Please keep her safe." The light flickers, before completely disappearing.

So that fool is the one who had her the entire time.

"Should we call Darla?" Kedi asks.

"No. Let's wait till we get there. We don't need her worrying over this when we're not there."

"Well let's get going." Benjamin says, standing in the doorway with Tia right behind him.

Gwen's Pov

Dream

I stood in a white corridor. Two doors in front of me. One with Henry's name on it and the other with Aiden's name on it. Walking into Aiden's room, I see him lying down, connected to a bunch of wires. The heart monitor beeping loudly in the room.

Walking over to him, i gasp at how pale he looked. The heart monitor suddenly begins to flat line, and my heart freezes in fear.

"Aiden baby!! Aiden- Carlisle!!" I shout, starting to do CPR. But it just kept flat lining.
"Aidie baby please. Breathe for mommy. Please baby please."

A bright light suddenly fills the room and I open my eyes to find myself standing in the corridor again. But this time only Henry's remained.

I slowly place my shaking hand on the doorknob. Tears still falling from my eyes. I open the door walking in, ending up in a alley way. Looking around confused, I walk out unto the road, finding Henry and James standing next too his car. The road deserted.

"Boys!" They continue talking. So I shouted louder.

"They can't hear you." A sinister voice says from behind me, but when I looked back no one was there.

Loud screams cause me to look back at the boys, too find two men holding them against the car.

"Let them go!!!" I try to run to them, but my foot remains planted to the ground. Four vibrant red eyes look in my direction, hissing at me. My heart drops.

I try fighting to get out again, but nothing works. They both smile at me, before turning back to Henry and James looking to bite them.

"No!!!"

I jump out of my sleep completely drenched in sweat. My breathing unstable. Quickly throwing my covers off me, I run to Aiden's room, not finding him there.

"No no! Aiden!! Henr-" Bursting open Henry's door, switching on the lights I find them cuddle up together.

My shoulders drop in relief.

They're okay.

Henry slowly begins to stir in his sleep, as if sensing my presence, his eyes opening and connecting with mine.

"Is everything okay?" He says rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Aiden wasn't in his room. So I got a little worried."

"He was feeling agitated, and I heard him call for me through the monitor, saying Henry cuddle."

"Oh." I walk more into the room.

"Yeah. He would of come by you but he said he wanted to cuddle me today."

"Hm." Kissing his head before walking over and kissing Henry's.

"Are you sure you're okay?" He asks again, studying me.

"I'm fine. Go back to sleep. I'll see you guys in the morning."

"Okay." He says before lying back down. Pulling Aiden to him.

They're okay.

Morning
Sunday 14th October 2007

Laughter could be heard all over my backyard. Family day is happening at my house today. Everyone is here, including James' family.

As James told me, the default had to join them only because his parents are here as well.

I really can't with him.

"Hey Gwen!"

"Hey Seth. Did you contact your mom recently?"

"I did. She's doing really good. She was thinking of coming to visit sometime soon." He says hopping up on the kitchen stool.

"Really? That's nice."

"Heyyo Seth!! We're gonna play football out back coming?" James says coming up to him.

"Don't have to ask me twice." He says doing their handshake. He turns to me as if asking to leave, seeing as we were just talking.

"Go ahead." They run off towards the back laughing. Finishing cutting up the watermelon, I walk towards the back pausing a little way, to watch them.

The boys setting up to play football, the ladies laughing at the table. Bella and Rosalie were playing with the kids, while Leah, Alice and Winnie were sitting on the swing bench and the men standing standing by the grill, talking.

I couldn't get the dream out my mind.
There is no way I would allow anyone to get hurt. Especially Aiden and Henry.

Maybe I shouldn't of gotten this close to others again.

Carlisle and his family have become such a significant part of our lives that the thought of ever leaving them would hurt.

And Leah and I have recently grown so close. I couldn't just leave them.

Flashback

"Seriously though Gwen. Sometimes I wonder how he's even related to me."

"Oh please you love me sis." Seth tells her. He tries hugging her but she just pushes him away. He walks off laughing, leaving us.

"Girl time?"

"Please." I giggle and we walk off, down the path. Carlisle had a pathway made, with the most beautiful white stones, that leads to our clearing.

"What's it like being the only female wolf?"

"It has its good days and bad. It's sometimes irritating that I'm sometimes underestimated because I'm female." She tells me.
"When I was apart of Sam's pack, I was treated good however it was awkward."

"Why's that?"

"Sam and I were actually together before he turned. But when he did, he imprinted on my cousin." She says.

"No." I say in shock. Stopping, and turning to face her.

"Yeah...in a way I wanted to blame him, say it was his fault, but I knew deep down he had no choice." She sadly says.

"Before I met Carlisle, I was dating Aiden's father. It was the first time I had fallen in love. It was my second year in Bakewell, when he started pursuing me. I didn't want to date anyone yet, still settling in to the new place, but he was good looking, good with words. Feelings started growing, and I eventually said yes.

On our 2 year anniversary, we did it for the first time. I thought as his girlfriend it was the right thing to do. Give myself to him. Turns out that was actually all that he wanted. Creds to say he did the town's new girl." I say, rolling my eyes at the memory. She gasps.

"No."

"Mhmm." We continue walking.
"I went to his house a few days after doing it, to see him because he suddenly stopped responding to my calls or texts. When I got there he was in his living room, making out with his co worker. It broke me. I promised myself never let a guy hurt me like that again, or love again. But Carlisle showed up. I was super skeptical about him, and I know there's a bond and everything, but I'm not going to be doing anything just because we're bonded forever, you know." She nods.
"I told him about it, and he says, he doesn't mind, that he'll wait."

"I said all that, to say this." I stop, turning to her.
"There's a guy you won't have to doubt about. He'll love you and only you, and won't force you to do things you don't want, and will care for everything you care about. Who'll pay attention to the little things, and always want you to see you smile. He won't be perfect, but he'll love you."

"Thanks Gwen." She replies, with tears in her eyes. I pull her into a hug and we stayed like that for a few seconds before continuing our walk.

End of Flashback

"Everything okay?"

I jump turning to see Jasper.

"Don't do that!" I say hitting him.
"I thought you were out there? When did you come in?"

"I came to get some more ice for the cooler. I've been standing here for a few seconds, calling you."

"Oh."

"Are you okay?" He asks again, scanning my face.

"I am."

"You're feeling worried." He states.

Carlisle had told me about the working of their powers, and how it seemed that their powers were limited in a sense. Alice only sees me in a field of flowers, Edward only hears a gentle wind blowing, and Jasper was the only one whose powers could work on me, but again to an extent.

"It's nothing really. Just a dream."
Hopefully.

"Wha-"

"Hey Jasper did you get the ice- Oh. Everything okay?" Emmett asks, looking between the both of us.

"Yeah. We were just coming out." I quickly say, passing them. I glance back at them, their eyes on me.

"Mommy! Aunt Ro and Aunt Bell are playing with me and Nessie."

"I see that." I say ruffling his hair. His speech has recently been improving a lot these days.
"Ahh stop mommy!" He says running back over to Rose.

I walk over to the table. Setting down the plate on the table.

"Gwen good timing. Wilma is throwing a fundraiser dinner and she's deciding between a Silver or gold theme. Wilma and Jewel say gold, but Esme and I are team silver. We need a tie breaker. Which one Gold or Silver?" Ms. D asks me.

"Black." Ms. D deadpans me while Esme and Wilma laugh.

"Told you she'll say that. You know Gwen favors black over almost everything. Majority of her wardrobe is black." Jewel says rolling her eyes.

"Don't hate on the color Jewels. Don't hate the color." I say, and she rolls her eyes again.
"Gold."

"Ha!! Gold it is." Jewel says, giving Wilma a high five.

"Oh what are you ladies talking about?" Mr. Johnson asks. We make room for them. Each guy sitting by their person.

"Ugh. I'm going over by Leah. The table has suddenly became a couple table." Jewel says getting up.

"You'll join us soon Jewel." Ms. D tells after her.

"Yeah yeah whatever." She says walking away.

"Honey I was just talking to Carlisle and the others about my boat. We're planning to go fishing sometime."

"Oh!! What a good idea John. We could-"

"No no honey. Not all of us we. We as in the guys. We'll take the boys with us and teach them how to fish." He tells her, and she rolls her eyes.

"Fine then. Have your guy time. We will have our girls time." She says, and he chuckles.

"Who says London ladies!?"

"Oh I do!!" Jewel shouts from across the yard. Her hand raised in the air.

Time eventually flies and the kids are inside watching a movie. Leaving us adults outside. Wilma, John, Ms. D and Mr. Javier were currently dancing to the slow classical music that was playing. Carlisle went to check on the kids, well there not all kids but you know what I mean.

He walks back out, coming over to me.
"Come on let's dance." Carlisle says taking my hand. We slowly start dancing to the music. The moon shining down on us.

"Did you enjoy today?"

"I did. Family day is always fun. However I think I may have to prepare myself for Henry dating." I tell him.

"Oh I saw it too. Seems she really likes him. " He says spinning me.

"I'm not ready yet." He throws back his head laughing.

"He's a great kid love. He won't disappoint you."

"I know."

"Attack!"

"Wha-"

The kids all run out with water guns in hand. Some with water balloons. We run over to our hiding spots, pulling out our water guns as well.

Ms. D had actually over heard what they were planning, so we decided to keep our water guns close by when they all headed inside.

My gun runs out of water and I try running to Ms. D but Aiden runs in front of me. I put my hands up in surrender.

"Aiden you won't spray mommy right?"

"Sorry mommy. Henry said no survivors!!" He shouts spraying me.

"Ahh!! Woman down woman down." I say dramatically falling to the ground, holding the spot where he shot me. He runs to me putting pressure on the spot.

"You were the best mommy ever." He fake cries.

"I'll always love you Aidie." Closing my eyes.

"Mommy!!" He shouts and I feel him rest his head on my belly.

"He's your son alright." I hear Henry say. I peek seeing him standing over us, arms folded. The others laughing.

"Oh shut up Henry. You're just mad you can't act like us. Ain't that right Aidie?" I say sitting up.

"Mad mad."

"I'll see ya'll tomorrow at school man." James says bro hugging Henry and Seth as they all get ready to leave.
"Bye Ms. B!!"

"Bye Ms. Gwen." Winnie softyl says.

"Bye hun."

"Bye Henry." She shyly waves. It's amazing how shy the girl really is, compared to how Henry describes her when she's at school.

"Uh..Bye Winnie." he says scratching the back of his neck, awkwardly.

"Leave my boy alone Winnie. You're making him feel awkward." He says pulling her towards their parents car.

"I must say, I much rather Henry than that last guy." Mr. Johnson tells his wife, as they walk to their cars. I look to Henry again, his eyes meeting mine, with a look that said never happening.

"Ya'll reach home safely." I tell them.

"Thanks dear. Bye everyone!"

Mr. Javier leaves right after them. Then the Cullen's. Jewel and Ms. D are sleeping over by me tonight, seeing as they're both to lazy to go home. Their words not mine.

"Have a great night okay love." Carlisle says kissing my forehead.

"You too Carlisle. I'll call you before I go to sleep." He nods.

"Later Mama mia." Emmett says hugging me. Rose simply waves.

"Bye Emmett. Bye Rose." I wave back at her.

"Bye Gwen. Sleep well." Edward says holding a sleeping Renessmae. Yes the Johnson's know of her. It's amazing that there are people out there that you can truly trust.

Plus Alice said she saw them with us.

"Thanks Edward. Bye Bella."

"Bye!" She says.

"Later Gwen!!" Alice says hugging me tightly.

"Haha bye Alice. Bye Jasper!!"

"Bye Ma'am."

"Bye boys. Bye Leah!!"

"Bye!!"

Closing the door behind me, we all walk inside.

"I'm gonna go change and go to bed. Night guys." Jewel says heading to bed.

"Same.Night guys." Henry says.

"Night." Ms. D and I say at the same time.

Ms. D was cleaning up in the kitchen. Aiden's already fast asleep. Fatigue hit him hard after the water fight and Rosalie put him to bed for me.

I go over to Ms. D to help her finish faster.
"Tonight was fun." She says.

"It was. It's been so long since I had a water fight." I say, drying a plate.

"Hmm. Did you see the way Winnie kept looking at Henry?"

"Anyone could see that girl likes him."

"Yeah, but she was just dating the guy that got him sent to jail, and troubled him at school. And from the look of things from Henry's side, I'm not sure he's interested."

"Hmm. She does has some making up to him to do first." I nod.

Knowing Henry, he might just stay far away from her.

Carlisle's Pov

Arriving home, Edward carries Ness to her room. Before returning back to the living room with the rest of us.

"We're heading in. Night everyone." Jacob says. Seth and Leah following behind him.

"Night." We reply.

"I know we're vampires, but I actually feel tired." Emmett says.

"Agreed. Today was fun. I haven't had a water fight in centuries." Alice says sitting next to Jasper.

"I must admit Carlisle, moving here was a great idea." Esme says.

"Feels like we're human again."Rosalie says and we all smile.
