Chapter 14

(A/N: I don't own any of these pictures.)
Gwen's POV
"Officer I want to press charges against this hooligan!! How dare he hit my son,AGAIN!!"
"Press charges!!! I should be the one pressing charges against you and your disrespectful, no manners having, troublesome son!!" I shout, pointing at this good for nothing woman.
She lets out the most dramatic gasp and I should know dramatic when I see it.
"How dare you speak of my son like that!!! You good for nothing little girl!!"
"What did you call me?!" I go to advance her but an officer stands between us.
So I'm sure you're wondering what is going on here. We just had a birthday party Saturday gone. Everything was going good. Well I am currently at the police station for James and Henry because they got into a fight, with you guessed right...Wilson again.
Apparently after Wilson had finished his punishment and could practice with the team again, there was a lot of tension and quarreling on the field.
So today when Henry and James decided to go get something to eat before going home, Wilson and his two friends approached them and started causing trouble.
One thing lead to another, and Wilson thought it smart to underestimate Henry...again and punch him. The police was called, and now we're in the police station, and Wilson's foolish mother is trying to save her son's butt once again.
I am literally so close to setting her on fire.
"You heard what I said. You have been nothing but a bother since you and that pathetic brother and illegitimate son of yours, moved to Jashville. I don't even understand why they allowed you to move here in the first place. Where even is your son's father? I'm sure we all know the answer to that." She huffs, rolling her eyes and folding her arms.
I feel my whole demeanor darken.
I'll give you answer alright.
"You have some nerve Diana. How dare you talk to her like that!" The familiar smell of Carlisle's cologne fills my nose, as I feel him come to stand behind me.
"Breathe."
"What exactly is breathing Carlisle?" I tell him, in a low tone. My attention was fully drawn to the irritating woman, who continued arguing with Ms. D.
"I should set her a fire." The corner of my lips turn up slightly.
"No. You won't." He immediately turns me around to face him, drawing my attention to him. He puts his hand under my chin, lifting my head up to look at him.
"I know you're not suppose to tell a woman to calm down when she's mad, but you need to before anything happens. The sky was already dark when we got here, and they may not feel it, but I can feel the change of the atmosphere. Calm down Love."
"Oh shut up Darling always to the rescue." I her say. I look to turn and give her a piece of my mind, but an authoritative voice is heard, quieting the entire room.
"I am tired of you and your disrespect Diana!" I look pass Carlisle, to the entrance.
"W-Wilma."
"Don't Wilma me Diana. What is this I hear of your son and his friends hitting my James?" She asks walking ahead of us. Taking off her shades.
"Parents have constantly approuched me, making complaints of your son's behaviour." She tells her.
"It is not any of your business what regards to Gwen's family, or what her life is like at all.
Instead of focusing so much on other lives, so you can discuss it with your gossip girls at your next gossip meeting, why don't you pay attention to your recalcitrant son and get him in an order."
Wilma Johnson.
President of Jashille High Parent's Association, wife to the CEO of Johnson Real Estate. The founder of WJ Stylings, daughter to the former Mayor of Jashville. Past crown holder and still known in the hearts of many as Jashville's Gem.
A woman of class, a woman of humility and a woman of esteemed power...
James' Mother.
I have met her once or twice before when I moved here. A lot more frequently since Henry and James have become friends. She is honestly a very kind hearted and down to earth individual. James most definitely got his personality from her.
Flashback
Parents meeting had just ended and Carlisle and I were heading over to my car, when James' mother, Mrs. Johnson called out to me. Carlisle walked off to start the car and I walked over to her as she exited the school building.
"I have been meaning to talk to you for awhile now. James wont shut up about you and your family."
I put my hair behind my ears.
"Good things I hope?"
"Oh of course. I must say I am grateful. I see a significant difference to his behavior since he's started being around Henry. Even though he is very out spoken and has many individuals who claim to be his friends, Henry is the first person who he actually said was his." She says, rendering me speechless.
"You raised a fine young man and I'm glad that James has that kind of influence around him."
"I...honestly don't know what to say. Thank you." She smiles.
"That's alright dear. I didn't say it for a response. I said it because it was needed to be said. Don't ever let any of these women look down on you, especially when they don't know the story. You seem to be a kind young lady." She tells me.
"Thank you."
"Its no problem." She looks pass me.
"Well we shouldn't keep the gentleman waiting." I chuckle' glancing at Carlisle who smiles at us. He was standing at my side of the car waiting.
"If you ever need anything," I look back to her.
"And I mean anything at all. Don't hesitate to ask okay." She smiles a beautiful smile, before walking away to her car.
End of Flashback
"Mrs. Johnson-"
"Officer Jones, why don't we settle the bail for James and Henry. I think Henry's family and I can agree that we don't desire to be here any longer."
"Would you be pressing charges ma'am?" He asks her.
"No no. I won't. Gwen, would you like to press charges?" She asks turning to me.
Yes.
"No."
"Then it's final. We won't be pressing charges. However I did have a conversation about Wilson with his father, and Officer Jones, he says not to approve bail until he arrives." She graceful says, watching over at Diana, who visibly pales.
That's what you get.
Carlisle and Ms. D, stand next to me as we wait for the officer to return with the boys. She is lucky that Carlisle reached at the time he did, because I was ready to forget about everything and let her have it.
The boys and Mrs. Johnson walk out from the back. Mrs. Johnson going over to finalize with the officer, while the boys came over to us.
One look at the state of Henry's face and my anger resurfaces again.
"Oh my gosh, your face Henry." Ms. D says concern lacing her voice. Thy both had black eyes. Their faces swollen a little. Henry however had a busted upper lip.
"I'm sorry about what happen Ms. B. I-"
"What are you apologising for James? It was not like you boys intentionally started fighting. Just rest up and get better okay." I tell him.
"Yes Ma'am." He nods. Mrs. Johnson walks back up to us.
"Come on James dear, let's go home before your father loses his mind. He's already threatening to disown your sister if she doesn't break up with Wilson." She tells him, laughing slightly.
"Rest up yourself okay Henry. I'll speak to Mr. George about giving you boys some time off from school for a few days, so you can rest up." He nods, thanking her.
"I handled everything Gwen darling. Just take care of my boy for me."
"I will. Thank you so much Wilma. And same with James." She smiles, nodding.
"It's no problem dear."
We all walk out the station together. Going to our seperate vehicles. As I enter the passenger sit of my car, I see a black car pull up, and what looked like a very pissed off Mr. Richards coming out.
●○●○●○●○●
Henry was in Carlisle's office being checked over, when I decided to go for a walk outside. I needed some air. Henry's car was left at the food joint, so I asked Emmett if he can go pick it up for me.
Old leaves, scrunched up under my foot as I walked.
The more I thought about what she said, and what her son did, the more pissed off I got. Like how dare she.
Looking up to the sky I watch how it has darkened even more. The wind beginning to pick up slowly.
"Calm down Gwen. You gotta calm down." I try to keep my emotions at bay. A thought suddenly hits me and I laugh.
"This is exactly how I felt when I first got my powers."
Walking over to one of the trees, I turn, leaning my back against it. Taking deep breathes, but her words just kept replaying.
You good for nothing little girl.
Pathetic brother.
Illegitimate son!
"How dare she!!!" I shout, spinning around, punching the tree. It breaks free from the ground, colliuding with a few other trees, before coming to a stop. I feel myself slowly begin to lose control.
"We all know the reason?! What exactly is she trying to say?! That I'm some docile girl who sleeps around!!! A whore!!"
The wind blows harder. The branches of trees swaying violently around me.
I should...
"GWEN!!" Snapping my head in the direction of the voice, I find Ms. D, Carlisle, Edward and Luis, standing there.
"Calm down Gwen. Don't lose control." Ms. D says. Carlisle, and the other's stared at me in shock. Most likely because they are seeing me in my element for the first time, and my purple eyes.
Her Eyes

"Please Gwen." She says, stepping forward a bit.
"Did you hear what she said about my family Ms. D!! Pathetic?! ILLEGITIMATE!!!" Thunder booms loudly, the ground shaking beneath me.
"She has no right to speak about my son or brother that way."
"I know Gwen. I of all people know this. But please, don't let her words get to you. You have to calm down." She says, looking up to the sky.
"Calm down Gwen. I know you can do it." I try to reel in my rage, but it just wanted to burst out of me.
How dare she?!
She deserves every single thing...
"Please Gwen." I turn away from them, tightly closing my eyes.
I finally manage to calm down, the sky becoming bright again. Turning around, I look back towards them again.
"There are those beautiful blue eyes." She says smiling softly.
My eyes connect with Carlisle's concerned ones, and he walks up to me. walks up to us.
"I-"
"No need to explain love. I understand." He says kissing my forehead.
"Let's go back home. Henry's very worried about you and Aiden is very agitated. I think he felt your distress."

Anderson's Pov
Looking over the papers my right hand has given to me regarding Honey's whereabouts before I caught her.
The woman still won't talk.
I was so surprised when I found out I had a younger sister. Even more shocked when I found out she was the chosen Fai, of the legend of our people.
The one meant to protect the elementress when she is born.
All I needed is for her to tell me where she hid her. I've searched for her for years. She's the most important factor to this plan apart from my sister.
"Sir." Fredrick says coming into my office.
"One of our men called. There was an unusual weather pattern in Jashville UK. I think we may have found her." He says.
"Wonderful."
