Lily POV:
I finished cleaning the room on time giving me about an hour to spare before my meeting with his highness.

I rushed of to the kitchen hoping to see Maggie,then Miss Lauren stopped me,I bowed as a form of respect and greeting.

"Lily,His Highness calls for you" she said with a straight face,no emotion and walked past me without awaiting my reply. You are walking to my possible death,my subconscious kept reminding me as I walked back to Prince Darius's room.

Now I'm wondering, when did he get back,I practically just left his room. On getting there,I gave a soft knock on his door,then I heard a husky voice telling me to come in.

I pushed in the door gently and walked in with all the courage I could muster. "Your Highness" I bowed in respect, "rise".

I straightened my back and was met by pairs of mismatched eyes staring down at me,the left eye red and the right eye blue. I was distracted by his eyes for a valuable amount of time so I lowered my gaze and backed away slowly giving both of us space.

" I'm Lily Brooks,your personal maid" I explained since he just stared at me. I was getting irritated with him just staring at me like I was a piece of meat,oh wait I am.

Tired of waiting I decided to talk "uhm Your Highness,you called for me" that seemed to get his attention "get me my dinner" he said and walked to an armchair I didn't think I saw this morning. "Yes Your Highness" I bowed once more and scurried off,he didn't sound like he was in a good mood.

I got to the kitchen quicker than expected, looking left and right,looking for where the Lord's dinner are placed. I noticed a large table in a corner of the kitchen,filled round with trays of food walking closer I found out they were the Lord's dinner.

I looked for one labelled Prince Darius,having found it I carried it out and up to Prince Darius room.

Skillfully balancing the tray on one hand I used the other to knock on his door. After hearing a come in,I got into the room and placed it on his desk where he sat.

Bowing my head I stood to the side,"you may leave" that's all I needed to hear before exiting the room. Once I got out I let out my breath I didn't know I was holding.

Happily,I skipped to my quarters literally skipping. Maggie,Melissa and Judy were sitting on my bed waiting impatiently for me.

Melissa spotted me first and jumped on me,Maggie next then Judy. Melissa and Judy pulled me into a tight hug,Maggie scanned my body for any sign of injury not spotting any,she breath a huge sigh of relief.

"Lily,I'm so happy for you,you're alive" she continued "what happened, did he say anything?" "Calm down Maggie, nothing happened he didn't even look at me with a glint of interest in his eye" I explained calmly.

I excused myself,taking a long shower before I have my dinner. I found out from Judy that we were allowed to were whatever we wanted by night,as long as we put on our maid uniforms or the ugly looking night dress. Leaving my maid uniform on I were on to the dinning hall.
