Dino's Pov:

We waited for few minutes. Y/n came along with Seokmin hyung. She was looking down all the time. Eomma hugged her. She slightly looked at me.
"Y/n, let's go and talk about it in our house", Appa said.

We were in car. Our parents were coming through different car. It was totally quiet only Y/n's sniffles could be heard. "Y/n ,what really happened there. I know you wouldn't do something like this", Seokmin hyung asked. Y/n just kept quiet. I decided to tell him everything including what she did to me.

"Why didn't you two tell me this before?", hyung scolded us. "I told her not to", I said. Y/n was looking at me while I was telling everything. "I really didn't do anything. Why would I do something to her", Y/n spoke in her trembling voice.

I held her hand. "I really didn't do that, Dino. I would never. You both know right, I will never do anything that would lower Eomma and Appa's head", She again started crying. "Shh, Y/n. We know you won't do that", I said hugging her. "D-Dino, A-Appa thinks that they failed as parents. T-they didn't. They didn't. It is me who failed as their daughter", Y/n started crying.

This was the first uncle ever slapped her. It was not even her mistake. I looked at Seokmin hyung. He too felt sad. "Y/n, look at me", her tearful eyes met mine. "They didn't fail as parents nor you failed as daughter. It was just situation. Once they know the truth, believe me Y/n, they will never say that again", I whispered to her. I wiped her tears but the kept on falling.

This has deeply hurted her. I have never seen her crying like this.

We reached home. Y/n's parents were there too. Y/n lowered her head after seeing her parents. We all sat down. Y/n sat between me and Seokmin hyung. She tried to take her hand off my grip but I held it tightly. "Y/n, now tell me did you really do that", Appa asked her. She shook her head. "Then can you tell us what really happened", Eomma asked her in a soft tone.

"She did whatever she wanted to. Now what's the use. We have already lost the deal", Uncle spoke. "Stop Taesung. I am asking her", Appa said sternly.

"I will tell you everything. It happened because of me",  everyone in room looked puzzled at me except Y/n and Hyung. Y/n held my hand more tightly. I told them everything including how once I was almost bullied because of Aera.

"Y/n did nothing uncle. We didn't even have idea that Aera doesn't have mother. She just made up lies. I was trying to tell you all this but you all didn't let me", I said.

Everything was silent until Y/n spoke, "I am sorry. I failed as a daughter". Saying this she walked to room in which she was staying. "It's better if you let her stay here for today. She has few of her clothes here", Eomma said. I excused myself and went to her room.

"Y/n, open the door", She didn't reply anything. I knocked few times but she didn't. I started to panic. No matter what, she would always open the door. I ran outside. "Eomma where is Y/n's room's key" I asked and started searching in drawers. "Why, what happened?", Eomma asked. I found the key and ran towards her room. My hands were trembling. Hyung took the key from my hand and open the door. Others came too.

I ran towards Y/n who was lying on the floor. My heart dropped. I touched her forehead. "She is having fever", I said."Call the doctor quickly", Appa went to call doctor. I picked her up and laid her down on bed. "Y/n ,please get up", I whispered.

Soon the doctor came. He did some check up and said, "Mr.Lee, Can you cone outside for a minute", Appa nodded and went with doctor. Uncle too went with them. "Chan, why didn't you tell us about what Aera did to you before", Eomma asked. "I wanted to tell you but I knew Aera's father has a huge name and influence. I thought if we tell this to anyone they will take Aera's side. Y/n didn't like this idea but I was the one who forced her not to tell. Later, Aera stopped doing that. Even in school we try to avoid her, Aera does the same thing", I said. If I would have told everyone before, this situation wouldn't have arisen.

"We will see if we can do something about this", Aunty said. "But why did you believe Aera instead of Y/n, Aunty", Seokmin hyung asked. "She acted so good that-", "but that doesn't mean that Y/n did everything. She ran away today. I was with her so it was less dangerous but what if something really bad would have happened", Seokmin hyung said.

"She just manipulated us. We were talking when we heard her crying. When we asked about that , she said it's nothing. We called Mr.Park. When he came Aera started crying badly. He saw the mark on her hand. Aera told us everything and we thought it was true", Eomma explained.

"Haneul, let her be here for tonight. She already has few clothes here but still send her essential things just in case", Eomma said and Aunty nodded.

I saw Appa coming. "What did doctor say?", I asked. "She is fine nothing to worry. It's because of stress. Probably the stress was because of what happened. Taesung has gone to bring some medicines that doctor prescribed. She also has quite fever. Doctor said she needs rest for a while", Appa said.

"Let her sleep. Chan and Seokmin go to your rooms. You have school tomorrow. Y/n will not be coming tomorrow. She needs some rest", we both nodded and went to our rooms.

Third Person Pov:

"I can't believe. Why did we do that Hana. I didn't believe my own daughter. How bad she must have felt. I think it's better if she lives here until she is okay", Y/n's mother said. "It's okay. Whatever happened we can't change it. But make sure it never happens again", Mrs.Lee said.

"How is she?", Mr. Kang said and gave the medicines to Mrs.Lee. He sat beside Y/n and stroked her hair. "I agree with Haneul. Let her stay here until she recovers. I won't be able to face her. I did a terrible mistake", Mr.Kang continued with some tears in his eyes.

Y/n's parents went home but still the way they behaved with her was making them fill with guilt.

As soon as they entered their room. Mr.Kang let out the feelings he was holding for so long. "Haneul, Did we really forget how our daughter was? We really thought she did this all. How can we? I slapped her not once but twice. My anger just made me. I can't face her, Haneul. I did the same thing that once my parents did. I know how must Y/n would have felt when we didn't believe her", Mr. Kang said trying not to cry. Mrs.Kang hugged him.

For them, Y/n was the a new light in their life. They treasured her a lot. Y/n wasn't their first child. She was the second one. Mrs.Kang was pregnant and gave birth to a boy but due to some medical complications the baby couldn't survive. They lost their child. But their hope were arisen again when Mrs.Kang was pregnant with Y/n.

For the first time Mr.Kang held her, he promised himself to give her a better childhood, not like how his own parents treated him. How his own parents never believed in him. How they broke the relation with him after he decided to marry Mrs.Kang. But later when they got news that his parents are no more after getting into an accident. He was broken. But Y/n and his wife gave him a lot of strength.

Mostly Y/n, her little smile would lighten up his day. He couldn't believe that his anger made him slap her , with the same hand that he used to caress her cheek. When he was stroking her hair , he saw there were marks on her cheeks because of his slap. He was filled with guilt. He was reminded of his past.

"We will see what we can do about it. Sleep now. Y/n will understand us", Mrs.Kang said patting his head.

Both the couple slept that day but their mind kept on going to Y/n. What if she goes far away from them. They always believed in Y/n. This was first time ever something like this happened. What if this creates a drift between them? This thoughts kept troubling the couple the whole night.
