KYLIE

Being that I was almost 18 and it being my last year of high school, I didn't expect to be transferred to another state. My mom felt like I needed a better opportunity and out of all places she chose Florida.

I was probably being dramatic, but I found it impossible for a girl like me to fit in around here. But with her being a single mother she took damn good care of me and my 4 year old sister, Kyla. My father had never been around.

Today was actually my first day of my new school and I was so nervous. I wasn't excited, though I've moved here almost weeks ago.

"Honey are you ready?" My mom yelled from downstairs. I finished dressing up and walked downstairs.

"Yes, I'm about to go now." I said after I got done. I grabbed my bag and keys, giving her a hug.

"You look nice."

"Thanks."

"Kylie!" My little sister yelled running downstairs. I picked her up and hugged her tight.

"I'm dressed like you!" She exclaimed. I put her down and looked at her outfit.

"You look beautiful." I complimented. She hugged me again and ran back into her room. I walked out of the door and to my gorgeous car, a black Range Rover my dad got me a month ago, but he's still anonymous. I guess this is his way of making up for lost time. I drove off to this school, my hands slightly shaking from nervousness.

Once I got there I observed the school and found my locker. Once it closed I saw about four girls approaching me.

"You new here?" Two girls asked. I figured out their names were both AJ and Celeste who goes by kaitlyn.

"What's your name?" The other blonde asked.

"Kylie."

"Well hello Kylie. I'm Natalya, this is Layla." I smiled as she waved at me.

"Nice to meet you girls. I wasn't feeling this whole new school thing, still not." I chuckled.

"Well, with us being your friends you'll be fine." AJ assured me. I nodded, feeling my worries vanish.

The girls showed me around the school, describing everyone and what they did made me feel like I was in mean girls.

"Who are those girls?" I asked pointing in their direction.

"Trouble." Layla rolled her eyes and sighed heavily. There was a red headed girl and two brunette twins.

"Brie and Nikki Bella. The Bella twins, whatever you wanna call it. The red head is Eva Marie. They're the biggest bitches in this place." Kaitlyn commented with an eye roll.

I tilted my head. "How can you tell the difference between the twins?"

"Nikki has the bigger boobs, Brie has a bird chest." Layla shrugged making me laugh.

Being that I was new, and attractive I had a feeling that they were gonna come for me, and I wasn't gonna let that happen.

Soon after I thought this in my head, they looked in my direction and whispered to the red headed girl before making their way toward us. I swallowed hard and cleared my throat, attempting to come off as strong as I could.

"What the hell do you want Eva?" AJ asked and folded her arms.

"I'm not talking to you am I? So don't talk to me." She bit. AJ growled and muttered insults under her breath.

"Who's this?" Brie asked, pointing at me.

"Kylie."I spoke, clearing my throat once again.

"Oh. New chick?" The other twin asked. Nikki was her name I believe.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"She looks very basic. Man I am so tired of these whack bitches. We need new friends." She yawned.

"Watch your mouth. You don't know anything about me." I warned her.

"Do you know how stupid you have to be to try and stick up for yourself right now? Do you know who you're messing with?"

"Hey hey hey, no trouble today girls."

I looked away from Nikki as a boy approached, and I had never seen someone so good looking in my life.

He had long black hair, a muscular jawline with the most perfect tanned skin, perfect teeth. I've witnessed god on earth today everyone. He was very god like and just pure beautiful. I frowned once he kissed the red head, and his friends went to the twins.

"Is there a problem here babe?" He asked. Even his voice was so sexy.

"Just introducing ourselves to new girl." She replied.

"Hi, Kylie. My names not new girl." I said meeting eye contact with him.

"I couldn't even remember your name, hint how irrelevant you are." Eva rolled her eyes.

"Hey, be nice. Welcome to our school." He gave me a simple nod, pulling Eva and the twins away from me.

"I'm sure we'll see each other again." Eva said before turning her attention to the boy.

"Hey you have math first. That's with us." Layla said. I stopped my naughty thoughts and walked with her, looking forward to a better day.

The day went by extremely fast and before I knew it, it was time to go.

"Hey Kylie, sports tryouts are next week at 5:30. You should come by. " Natalya suggested. I grabbed my book bag out of my locker.

"What sports are there?"

"Football, basketball, volleyball, women's wrestling." She smiled proudly at the last suggestion.

"Women's wrestling sounds amazing. I'll be there. Bye Nat." I smiled. She waved and walked away. I shut my locker and saw AJ, Layla and Kaitlyn with three guys. I'm guessing boyfriends. They waved me over and I walked to them.

Kaitlyn introduced me to Nick, Layla introduced me to Cody, and AJ introduced me to Phil.

"We need to find you a boyfriend girl, anyone you have your eye on?"

"It's only my first day, I'd rather take it easy." I chuckled. "I'm gonna get home though, I'll see you guys soon."

I walked to my car and put my things in, stopping to hear the sudden loud noises. I saw the boy from earlier with a few of his friends this time.

The boy and I made eye contact again and I gave him a small smile and turned away before he could see how heated my face was getting.

"How was your day?" My mom asked as I walked into the door. I dropped my bag on the floor and slid my shoes off.

"Great. I made friends right off the bat." I smiled and she smiled back.

"How was first day of new job?" I asked.

"Great. By the way, I met this guy he's a gentleman. We have to partner work for this project and he has a son your age. I want you two to meet each other, plus you two will be spending a lot of time together."

"Oh, sounds good. Well where's Kyla?"

"Upstairs." I ran up the stairs and softly knocked on her door. I opened it and she was watching the little mermaid movie.

"Hi Kylie." She whispered. I smiled and hugged her tiny body.

"Hi baby girl how was your day?" I asked.

"Good. I made new friends. Her name is Clarissa and Megan!" She exclaimed.

"That's good. I made new friends too."

"What are the names?" She asked curiously.

"AJ, Kaitlyn, Natalya, and Layla."

"Isn't AJ a boy name? Ooh you have cooties!" She scrunched her nose up causing me to giggle.

"She's a girl, a girl name can be AJ too." I laughed again. She smiled.

"I'll be right back okay? I'm going to go change." I said and got up.

"Don't mind me!" She waved me away. I wiped my makeup off and slipped on a pair of sweats and a tank top. I went back to her room and sat down on her bed Indian style, coloring with her in her coloring book.

"Kylie, Kyla! Company is here!" My mom yelled. Kyla put her things away and reached up for me to carry her. I picked her up and walked downstairs, putting her down once I saw our guest.

"Your daughters are beautiful. Call me Mr Anoai." He shook my hand and my little sisters hand.

(roman's dad is not sika in the story)

"Nice to meet you."

"Pleasure is all mine, so much." He looked outside and back at me.

"My son should be getting out of the car now, he's very slow sometimes."

"Don't worry about it, maybe he's nervous or anti social."

"I wish, all he does is talk and socialize."

"Sorry, I was on the phone." As soon as I looked up from the table I froze.

"This is my son." He introduced. He looked at me immediately.

It was the boy from school.
