Cole's Pov

She is really quiet today like something's bothering her. I tried asking her but she just said it's nothing and smiled at me.

I know it's something, something is weird. I can feel her confusion and restlessness.

After breakfast, we came to the town as she asked and now we're just roaming around the town market.

"Is there any church nearby??" Ari asked pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Huh?? Yeah, there is... Just 5 minutes away, " I replied.

"Can we go there??" She asked smiling.

"Yes, let's go, " I replied as we started walking towards the church.

" it's weird, " Ari said chuckling.

"What is??" I asked confused.

"That you guys believe in God too, " she said.

"Everyone believes in God, there are no kinds of it. God is one who created everything, " I replied.

"Yeah you're right, " she said smiling at me.

I love her smile, such innocence. She looks beautiful when she smiles. She looks beautiful anyway but well you know what I am saying.

We reached the church soon.

As I walked inside all the memories came running to me. I used to come to this church all the time as a kid, mom and dad used to bring us here. We used to pray for more candies. Nothing has changed, the walls are the same cream colored with flowers and vines designed in them. The chandelier is the same too. And the atmosphere is the same as well, the same calmness and light. He took the love and light of the whole kingdom me he couldn't take the light of this place.

I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't notice Ari went ahead.

She is kneeling in front of the idol with her eyes closed.

I looked at her as I kneeled down beside her closing my eyes as well.

'Jesus,
I don't know what I am praying for but I know whom I am praying for. I am praying for Ari. God, please make her prayers come true, whatever she's praying for. She's the most selfless girl I have ever met, she's doing all this without even knowing why.  I love her a lot, it is like I don't know why anymore. I don't know how to pray, I am not good with words. I can't even tell her what I feel for her truly. But you understand what words can't express right??? That's all I guess, '

I opened my eyes to find her still playing. I looked at her, the way her eyelashes flutter a little, the way her lips move. I wonder what she's praying for.

Ariana's Pov

We came to the church as I asked for. I don't know why I am here, I don't know what I am doing. I just know I have to find out what I can lose.

I kneeled down in front of God closing my eyes.

' God,
I don't know what am I here for, I don't know. Till today morning I knew I was preparing to fight for justice, to fight against my brother. To fight as the queen. But now I don't know anymore, the question is do I know whom I am doing this for?? A queen?? I don't even know my people. Yesterday I was a normal girl and today I am fighting for a kingdom. As ridiculous as it may sound, it's not a dream, its reality. I don't know anything about reality do I?? I was ready to fight without even thinking about anything. Without even thinking about what I can lose. I need to know what I have and what I can lose God, I need to know. I need to know about the people I am fighting for, I need to know what I am fighting for and against what. Derek is right, I can't win until I know what I can lose. I don't know what I am asking you for, I just know I am asking you for truth. About what I can lose, '

I opened my eyes to find Cole starting at me. I smiled at him.

"Let's go, " I said standing up.

He stood up and followed me out.

"Ari, what wrong?? You're acting weird since morning, " Cole said with a worried expression.

"I need to find some answers Cole, some answers, "I replied looking down.

" Can you leave me alone for sometime??" I asked looking at him.

"Ari, you don't know anything about this place and I..." He started.

I cut him short.

"Please, I just need some time to myself, I will call you ok??" I asked looking at him.

He just sighed.

"You have to trust me, " I said holding his hand and intervening our fingers.

"I trust you, Ari, " he said placing a kiss on my knuckles.

"Call me when you're done ok??" He asked.

"I promise, " I replied placing a kiss on his cheek.

He smiled as he walked away.

I sighed turning away towards the green fields.

I need to find answers to my questions, I don't know how but I have to.

I started walking towards the town market, its a crowded place. People are selling food, clothes, jewelry. Looks likes something out of a fairy movie again.

I smiled at some little boys giggling and laughing around.

I was looking around when I felt a pull on my skirt.

I looked down to see a little girl, tucking on my skirt.

I smiled as I kneeled down to come to her height.

"Hey, little birdie, what's your name??" I asked her in a sweet tone.

"Amelia, " she replied in her sweet voice.

She's an adorable little baby. She looks around 4 or 5, she's wearing a baby blue sundress reaching up to her knees with bows on the shoulder. Her light blonde hair is pulled in two little pigtails, with bows on the rubber bands.

"So Amelia, how old are you??" I asked cooing to her.

"4 years, I will be 5 next month, " she replied smiling showing her missing teeth.

"You will a big girl huh, " I said chuckling.

"Yup, Can I ask you a question??" She asked with puppy eyes.

"Sure little dove, " I said smiling.

"Will you save us from evil King??" She asked in her sweet voice.

"Why do you ask so??" I asked her, shocked at her question.

"Mommy said Queen Ariana is back and she will bring love and light back, she said she will bring back happiness. I will be able to fly freely soon. Mommy says the bad king will die and good queen will be back, " she said in her soft voice almost whispering.

I just stared at her, didn't know what to say.

"And why do you think I am the queen?" I asked her softly.

"I don't know, I am asking everyone. One of them should be, " she said shrugging.

I chuckled at her reply.

"You believe in it??" I asked her.

"Yes, I am sure Queen Ariana will bring love and light. My Mommy is always right, " she said in a proud tone.

"I am sure she is, "I replied pinching her cheek lightly.

She giggled and ran away happily.

I looked around to see people laughing and talking. I noticed posters and flags in the shop with words like 'welcome back queen' and 'Our queen is back'.

They don't know me, half of them haven't even seen me before cause they weren't even born when I died like little Amelia. They still trust in me, everyone does. Everyone believes in me.

I don't know if I will win but now I know who I am fighting for and what I can't afford to lose.

I can't afford to lose their trust.

It's not about winning it's about love and light. There are many ways to the goal, you can choose death or you can choose life.

For me?? I choose life over death any day.
