The next day was awkward for both Marinette and Adrien. Every time their eyes met they started to blush. Especially Marinette. Not that Adrien didn't but he was more used to the idea of talking to Marinette - Ladybug - than Marinette to Adrien.

When it finally came to a conversation it was a short conversation. Adrien noticed that Marinette was waiting alone on the stairs of the school. The Cat Noir in him immediately wanted to go to his Lady, he decided not to ignore it. He walked down the stairs and took a seat next to Marinette. 'Hey.' He said. Marinette looked up. 'Hey.' She answered. 'Who are you waiting for?' Adrien asked. 'You.' Marinette said shyly. Adrien started to blush. They sat next to each other for a while in silence.

Meanwhile Tikki and Plagg both turned and noticed each other. 'Tikki!' Plagg yelled. Both Marinette and Adrien turned their heads. Tikki and Plagg immediately hid behind their friends. Adrien knew that Marinette was Ladybug, but Marinette didn't know about Adrien. She still didn't know. 'Did you hear that?' Marinette asked. 'Hear what?' Adrien answered, playing the dumb one. Marinette, feeling a little bit stupid, decided to let it rest. 'Nothing.'

'It's time to go Adrien, I have a lot to do this evening, bye.' Marinette said when she walked down the stairs towards her house. 'See you tonight M'lady.' Adrien whispered when Marinette was long gone. He definitely knew about Marinette's plans.

That evening Cat Noir sat on a rooftop, waiting for Ladybug to come. After a while his patience was rewarded, a red figure with black spots came towards him. 'Hey.' she said. 'Hey M'Lady.' he answered. 'Did you take my love advice?' he asked. 'Not yet, but I will, I promise.'
Cat Noir's face turned white, did he ask the wrong girl out? Ladybug didn't notice his pale face. Cat Noir was happy that he was wearing a mask. 'I'm joking silly cat.' Ladybug said with a smile. 'It worked, how did you know it was going to work?'
'To be honest, I didn't, I just hoped it would.' Cat Noir answered. He could barely look at Ladybug without seeing Marinette. He wanted to hug her, or even better, kiss her. But he couldn't, she couldn't know his identity yet. 'Cat?' Ladybug asked. 'Huh?'
'What were you thinking about?'
'Nothing.'
'You seem a bit different than usual, did something happen?' Ladybug asked worried. She suddenly realised that Cat Noir was in love with her and she kept talking about her love life. 'I'm sorry about talking so much about my love life.' she said. 'That's no problem.' Cat Noir answered. 'Then what is?'
'Nothing really.'
'I guess I'll have to trust you then.'
'Thank you.'

They sat a while in silence until Cat Noir broke the silence. 'So did you see anything suspicious today M'Lady?' he asked. 'Not really, you?'
'Me neither. But as far as I know there wasn't an akuma so that could be right. I think we should go patrol north of the bridge, which means we need to hang out a lot there. But without friends that would look weird don't you think? How about you take your new boyfriend with you then I'll take a friend of mine? Not together obviously because of identities. So what do you think?' he said with his famous smirk. 'Good plan, I'll ask him tomorrow.'
Then Ladybug's penny fell. She had a relationship with Adrien, Cat knew that, and Adrien was famous so it wouldn't take long before he'd find out who Adrien was dating. She just told Cat who she was. At least she trusted him and knew that he wouldn't tell anyone, but love made her so blind that she didn't even realise what she was doing.

'I eh I have to go.' Ladybug said. 'Bye.' she said and then threw her yo-yo and disappeared. 'See you tomorrow, Marinette.' he said. He just fixed a date for his other identity.
