---Shehry's POV---

A few months had passed and thankfully our awkwardness had completely gone away.

"Hey, mom's about to be home soon. We should clean this place up," I said.

I started cleaning while she crawled around after me.

"Beta, you need to stay," I said.

She would not listen. I got this place cleaned up in time. I threw away the last thing as she walked in.

"Hey jaan," I said.

"Hey," she said, as I gave her a kiss.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

I noticed right away her mood was off.

"What's wrong? Nothing, I'm just so tired,"she said.

"You can go lay down. I'll make dinner," I said.

"I appreciate that, but I really want pizza," she said.

"Alright meri jaan, I'll order,"I said.

"You are the best! Be right back,"she said kissing my cheek.

I decided to call while she changed.

We both came into the living room at the same time.

"So what's up?" I asked sitting next to them.

"Not much,"she said.

"This girl is out of control today. Shehry, did you give her sugar?" She asked.

"No," I said.

"Shehry,"she said.

"Just a bit," I said.

"What am I going to do with you?" She asked.

We sat around and talked while our daughter kept crawling around everywhere.

The doorbell rang and I left to get it.

"Babe, dinner is here!" I said.

"Coming,"she said.

I went back into the living room.

"Come on. It'll get cold,"I said.

"And what is she doing?" I asked.

"I have no idea,"Thanisha said.

To our suprise she got up and walked.

"SHEHRY! SHE'S WALKING!" Thanisha said.

"I can see that. Oh my God! Our babies first steps!" I said.

Thank God none of us missed it.

"Aaaawwww, meri bachi. Momma is so proud of you,"Thanisha said.

I sat next to them.

"Even papa is so proud of you," I said kissing her forehead.

"Shehry,"Thanisha said.

"Haan jaan,"I said.

"I love you,"she said.

"I love you so much more," I said.

"Challo, let's go eat," she said.

"I'll bring it here. Now that she's walking, we gotta keep an even closer eye on her,"I said.

"Okay,"she said.

I went and brought it.

We ate, talked and laughed.

Eventually, our daughter fell asleep so we also went to bed.

"Thanisha," I said.

"Hhhmmm,"she said.

"I love you so much and I always will,"I said.

"I love you and will forever,"she said.

I kissed her.

"I'm literally the luckiest guy in the world," I said.

"And I'm the luckiest girl," she said.

I couldn't help but smile at that. I did something right that she's my everything now.
