We went back to watching our film.

"Shehry, sorry again about earlier," I said, as it ended.

"It's okay," he said.

I hugged him.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too meri jaan,"he said and then kissed me.

"Babe,"he said.

"Hhhmmm,"I said.

"Uuummm, do you want to make a list of baby names?" He asked.

"Sure," I said.

"Do you know what it is?" He asked.

"No. I don't want to check. I'm scared," I said.

"Scared? Why?" He asked.

"I don't want to find out that it's a girl then some relative tell me to get an abortion. You know how people are when it comes to girls,"I said.

"Babe, it's our daughter. You know, if it happens to be a girls. Nobody can tell us anything,"he said.

I hugged him and for the first time I cried.

"Hey, roh kyu rahi ho?" He asked.

I didn't say anything. He made me face me, but I couldn't stop crying. He made me sit and left to get water.

"Abh bolo kya hai?" He asked.

"Kuch nahi, just mood swings," I lied.

"Babe, I know when you are lying," he said.

I sighed. I had been a few weeks in.

"It's a girl," I said.

He smiled at that.

"Toh is mai rona wali konsi baath hai?" He asked.

"Because I told my family and one of my aunts, she told me that your supposed to have a boy first and blah blah blah, and then she told me to get an abortion. I told her I don't want to kill my child and she said that the child will be a disgrace to the family," I said.

He hugged me and I cried again.

"She called it a disgrace," I said crying.

"Sssshhhh, please chup ho jho," he said.

"Bhabi," Hussain said.

I guess he was passing by and Shehry didn't close the door coming back after getting water.

"Is everything okay?" He asked.

"Haan Sain," I said.

"Shehry, you guys need anything please tell us,"he said.

"We will,"Shehry said and Hussain left.

"Come on jaan, let's make our list,"he said.
