8: Oh yeah! That...
"Why?! Why can't you do something cool?! Like blow up?!" I yell at the wall. It's been nine days.
Nine.
I have officially gone mental. I regret sending Percy and Annabeth away, but I had to. They, knowing what I'm going through, will get them killed and make me even more crazy.
I have stayed in my room usually unless Luke needed me which surprisingly has rarely happened these last week. If I'm not in my room, I'm at the stables.
I take care of a pitch black pegasus named Blackjack, which is Luke's 'steed', and his sibling Sabrina. She was a pure white pegasus and they remind me of Percy and I's swords. Which remind me of Percy and I go crazy again; however, I still take care of them.
I climb down the steps to the stables.
"Yo Amanda!" I hear Blackjack call. I almost scream. I look down at my bracelets, lights still blinking. I know they are still working, but how can I hear Blackjack? I continue to walk slowly to Blackjack's stall, not sure if this was a trick.
"Hey Blackjack. Uh... Do you know why I can hear you in my head?" I ask.
"Seriously Amanda?" Sabrina asked, appearing in the stall next to her brother. "You should have figured this out even if you don't have your gifts."
"Figure out what?"
"Luke stopped your gifts, not your heritage!" Sabrina... neighed?
Everything clicked. No wonder I knew our coordinates! I still have my fathers power! I can talk to horses(or pegasi for this matter).
"Gods of Olympus! Your a genius, Sabrina!" I fed her a sugar cube.
"Anything for the strong daring big brother?" Blackjack asked. I laughed and fed him one too. For the first time in over a year, I have hope. Even if I have no way to get of this dekára boat. Pardon my language.
Suddenly, one of Luke's 'friends' came down. He started getting Blackjack ready. Why? I decided to go upstairs to see what was happening. What I saw either made me want to scream or run.
Luke was fighting my brother.
Percy was losing. Badly. His leg was bloody and he looked tired. Right when I knew Luke was going to finish him off, the Party Ponies invaded.
Hundreds of centaurs, including Chiron, galloped onto the deck and crashed the fight, which was fine with me. While Chiron and his family(?) were helping Percy by destroying this ship, I ran back to Sabrina.
"If I release you, you need to stay with me until I say, right?" I ask the pegasus. I have no doubt in my mind that I will leave this boat today.
"Yes." She agreed.
I take her back to where the fight was and try to find Blackjack. He was panicking. After I calmed him down, I saw a dracanae up to me.
She had a club in her hand and she was continuously smacking it against her hand.
I back away slowly, as if any sudden movements would kill me. Well, it might. My fingertips felt the coldness of the railing and I could see the forcefield igniting light due to the colors illuminating onto her face. I was defense less and weak. I did the best I thought of.
I whimpered.
SMACK! The dracanae went flying back. I looked to see who saved me when I saw Chiron coming up to me, with Anabeth and Grover on his back. I gulp down the bike rising because I know I'll be punished by him soon.
"Amanda, we are leaving. Are you coming?" He asked.
"I can't. These bracelets..." I trail off. Suddenly, Tyson stepped up to me and tried to grab my wrist. I jumped back, scared.
"Sister?" He asked again.
"Amanda. He saved my life. He saved Camp Half-Blood. He went against Polyphemus and the rest of his kind! He's the one who just saved your life! I know it's against Thalia's memory but he's okay. I would be proud to call him my brother." Annabeth explained.
I looked at my... my brother's warm brown eye and I reluctantly lifted my hands up and squeezed my eyes shut. I heard two crunches of metal and flury of power returning to me. I opened my eyes and ignited my finger tips. It worked! I grabbed the I cuffed bracelets (for inspection from cabin 9) and handed them to Chiron who proceeded to put them into his pack.
I soon hopped onto Sabrina and she and Blackjack flew overhead of the Party Ponies. I was glad I was alone so no one could hear my squeal of delight. I was free. Finally free.
Sooner then I could imagine, we found ourselves in a trailer park at the edge of a lake. I hopped off Sabrina and walked over to where Chiron, Annabeth, Grover, and my brother sat.
"Hey." I practically whispered. All four heads shot up.
"Umm... Annabeth. Grover. Why don't you check on Tyson and the paintball gun. I turned to, in fact, see the cyclops with a paintball gun and Percy's face told me that's not the best thing in the world.
"Now, I had a talk with Annabeth on the way here. About the prophecy." I gulped. I didn't think of the prophecy because it never pertain to me. Until now.
"Don't blame Annabeth. I made her tell me!" Percy confesses.
They started to talk about the prophecy and I sat in the background like always. Chiron started talking to Percy about Celestial Bronze on mortals and other crap I already know.
Then some miracle happened. Chiron talked about his past. "Percy, the Titan Kronos is my father."
"Sounds like Star Wars." I mumble so Chiron couldn't hear. I probably should have been more serious, but I've been doing that for a year and I want- no, need to lighten up a bit.
Sabrina and Blackjack flew overhead with me on Blackjacks' back instead of Sabrina's.
In no time we were back at camp, and I swear the only thing I could do right now was collapse on my bed and sleep. But Percy's leg had other ideas.
Chiron had made a makeshift bandage on it, but I quickly healed it and passed out on the grass shortly afterwards.
--time lapse--
Groaning I peel my crusty eyes open.
"How long?" I whisper.
"About two days." My brother's voice answered. I turned to face him and gave him a hug.
"I'm sorry. Luke-" I start but Percy cuts me off.
"I understand. Look um, the tree's alive again and-"
"What?" I asked shocked. Percy filled me in on Thalia's tree being poisoned and how the whole quest started (including chariot racing which I believe is bizarre).
I was released from the infirmary later that day, and I decided to watch the chariot races. Percy and Annabeth won and I may have gone into overprotective-sister mode due to Annabeth.
Grover announced that he was able to stay with us for the rest of the summer until he left again. I was relived. I don't want him to almost kill himself again.
And Tyson. Oh, man, that cyclops was so surprised by my fire gift and that I was immune to fire like him, that he took the liberty to let me help him on his projects.
When he left, I wasn't surprised. He was amazing and I was wrong to judge him. He forgave me, luckily.
That night, I couldn't sleep. Do you ever get that feeling when you know something big is going to happen, but you don't know what? That's what I was feeling that night.
I heard Percy start to moan in his sleep and I woke him up.
"Percy!" I shouted and someone knocked on the door. I ran to open it and there was Grover panting.
"Annabeth... On the hill... She's just lying there." he gasps.
Percy took off obviously assuming Annabeth was hurt. They would be cute together. Stop! Focus!
"Wait! Grover! Her?!" I asked. He nodded. I sprinted after Percy before he does something completely stupid.
When I got to the tree, Percy was yelling at the stunned crowd around- gods! It's true.
I knelt next to Percy to pull him away, when she coughed and opened her eyes.
"Who-" she starts.
"I'm Percy. This is Amanda. Your safe now." I was officially stunned by the fleece. There is no way this could've worked!
"What's your name?" Percy asked and I almost slapped his arm for not knowing who she is. But he probably shouldn't.
"I am Thalia. Daughter of Zeus."

This extremely rushed and I'm sorry! From now on it should be slower, but not too slow since this is PJO!
Anyways, our school district lets us have this entire week off and my swim coach decided to let us swim 5 hours a day this week. Wha-? Idk how my body is capable of that.
Ems out!✌️
