Kyson's Pov

Another day of school, another day of dying of boredom. You think things would be great being the Mayor's kid... Well you thought wrong. But that's just life. I head outside and hop into my car, well my daily car, I usually don't drive my racing car around, especially to school. 

It took about 10 minutes for me to get to school. I park my car and head inside. I reach to my locker and I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and see Liam LandCumber, one of the most popular kids in school. "Hiya Kyson, how's your old man?" he asked.

I turned back around and grab my English book."He's good, doing mayor stuff you know," I said as I close my locker. I'm not really friends with him though he acts like he has known me for years. I head to English class before anyone else in that class. The teacher had put up a piece of paper that had the new seating arrangement. Lets see where I'm sitting. I take a look and see I'm at the back table near the window. That's not bad. I look at it again. Wait, ugh not her. I go and take my seat. 

A few minutes pass and kids start to come in. Then she comes in. Alexandra Lawrence, somewhat of one of the loners in the school. She hangs out with those three boys which I think one is gay, though I'm not sure. I see her looking at the seating chart, at first she had a panicked look which changed to relive, then to angry/annoyed. She looks in my direction and heads to my table. I scoot my chair in so she could get around to her seat. She sits down and just looks out the window. "Hiya Lexi," I said to see if she will even talk to me.

She quickly turns towards me, she looks mad." No one calls me Lexi not even you, got it Mayor's Boy," she snapped at me. Shesh, I didn't know she hated me that much. I nod my head and she turns back towards the window.

---Lunch Time---

Lunch, the most exciting time of the day. I head to the cafeteria and sit with most of my friends, some girls come up to me to just flirt, come over once or twice. I look over at the table where Alexa is, which I found out is the name I can call her. Its was either Alexa or Alexandra, the second option seem to formal. She's talking and laughing with who I call Blonde, Brownie, and Gay Boy. There is just something about her...

"Hello earth to Kyson," said my Best friend Carter Greene waving his hand in front of my face.

"Oh sorry, I was just uh... Thinking," I said.

"About some cute girl I hope, you have been down for months now," he said giving me a worried look. I just shrug my shoulders and continue to eat my food.

---Last bell rings---

Finally I can go home. My last class got annoying I was sitting next to some purple haired chic that would be soo bossy, telling me I'm doing the lab wrong. I reach my locker and put everything away except for English. I look over and see Alexa at her locker. I should probably talk to her about meeting up for the English project. Lets hope she doesn't snap at me like she did in English.

I walk to her locker and stand behind the door. I smile waiting for her to see that I'm there. She slams her locker shut and looks up seeing me. She jumps, i think i just scared her. "What do you want Kyson?" she asked me with an annoyed tone.

"Well we have project we have to work on for English, and I never got to talk to you about what days and times we're meeting up to work on it, I'm free all week. I was going to also ask if we could start working on it tonight?" I asked her. I want to get a good grade, most people don't realize that about me.

"Well I'm busy tonight with uh.. stuff.." she said. Then she looks at her phone and types some things then puts it away. "Well I guess I'm not busy tonight after all. You can come over to my place around 5," she said as she walked out of the school. I follow her and stop her. 

"I could just come over now. And let me drive you home," I said. She shakes her head no and continues to walk home. She holds up 5 fingers to symbolizing to me to come over at 5pm. I hope maybe she will stop hating me after we finish the project. I walk to my car and drive home and setting an alarm to go over to Alexa's at 5..
