Teddy Pov

So Saturday was a couple of days after Debbie and I had that argument about John meeting Rowan, and I was in need of a rant about Debbie if I'm being completely honest with you here, so I was extra early to composite the time that I needed.

It was honestly like the universe knew that I needed a rant as Jack and Jade came at the exact same time and they were early, (well, early for us, ya know), (we didn't even text that we were going to be early).

"Something must've happened if we're all earlier than usual"
"What makes you think that Jack?"
"Well Jade, Debbie and I had a huge argument a couple of days ago and I need a rant, not that Jack knew that"
"Fuck"

Yeah Jack didn't always like being right about my relationship with Debbie, (though I suppose that he had been there since Rowan came out of the hospital, so that might have something to do with it), but neither Jade or I said anything to him about it.

"What happened to lead you and Debbie into an argument?"
"She asked about John meeting Rowan again"
"Why does she want that to happen so badly?, it can't be family unity as my Mother would said the same about Gary meeting Jade"
"Debbie says it's because she regrets not letting her mother meet us, but she really doesn't like when I point out that her regret about it is because it was John's decision, not hers"
"Shit, Teddy how the hell are you going to survive until you can afford to move out?"

Of course it was Jack who asked the money question, though to be fair, Bob did drill it into him, so it's not really his fault, so I wasn't surprised by the question from him, (though if Jade had asked me the same question, I would have been shocked).

"I'm moving to Manchester after I get my results"
"Why Manchester?"
"Well there's a few things there Jade, like cost of living is lower as it's not London, people don't know who the Addams are, so Rowan will be able to have an actual chance in life, and Rueben lives there and I miss my older brother man"

So the Rueben thing is half true, I did miss him, but the family member that I actually wanted to reconnect with was my Aunt Rebecca, (and the reason why I was keeping that from Jack and Jade at this point in time was that I didn't want any more questions about Rita).

"I want in"
"What?"
"I want in"
"Jack why do you want in?"
"Well, you make a point about the cost of living being lower, plus Bob can't really go to Manchester"
"Why can't he go to Manchester?"
"My older half sister Francesca has a restraining order against him"
"Well shit, that means that John can't go Manchester either"
"If Jack's in then I want in"

To be completely honest with you, I didn't think that either of them would want to move to Manchester with me, (though maybe I should've as they both have family that they don't want to be around), maybe it was because I wasn't really used to having people who wanted me around, (which is sad, but it being didn't stop it from being my reality).

"Jade what about your mother?"
"She won't go outside of London, as she's never been outside of London"
"Ok so we've both established that we want in on going to Manchester, but how are we going to get there?"
"You can get a train there Jack"
"How do know that Teddy?"
"Because I went there before when shit was really bad with Debbie"
"What if they report us missing?"
"They won't be able to Jade, as we will go and tell the cops that we're moving to Manchester and we don't them to have contact"
"When were you thinking of going?"
"The day after we get our results, so don't you worry Jack, Jade will be considered old enough to move out"

That wasn't why I wanted to wait until the day after our GCSE results came in, (though it did cover us legally), I wanted to see the proof of me passing and I knew that if I went before that, I wasn't ever going to see my results, and I worked way too fucking hard for those things to not see them.

"You have everything covered"
"I have to when my family runs one of London's drug gangs Jade"
"Fucking hell Teddy, give a man warning before saying shit like that"
"Living with Bob should have given you enough warning about shit like that being said"
"Fuck you"
"And I thought that I wasn't your type"

Honestly the rest of the time was spent waiting for the doors to open.
