Poppy's PoV
The night went without a hitch, we spent the whole evening together just being with each other and enjoying the food and drink. We reminisced, planned ahead and discussed possibilities in the future. It was perfect. The decorations had really amazed him and he'd taken pictures to send to his family and friends to show just how appreciated he was. We stayed up together late into the night cherishing every minute before the hectic tour schedule kicked off. Today was day one of four shows in a row, then we were off again to fly to another state. The pattern remained like that for a while without a proper break for the guys to explore the world or take some rest time. Honestly, I didn't know how they did it. I was exhausted and I wasn't the one singing and playing an instrument and jumping around the stage. I honestly admired them.
As my alarm rang, I shut it off quickly, giving Calum a tiny rest as I snuck to the bathroom to get ready. After brushing my teeth and showering, I headed out of the bathroom in my towel and noticed Calum already sitting up in bed with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Good morning beautiful." He purred as his eyes roamed my body. Under his intense gaze I began to feel self conscious.
"M-morning Calum." I walked closer to the bed, climbing on it to give him a small peck on the lips but he ravenously pulled me closer to him for more. Our kiss became intense, deepening as our hands explored each other just as they had done last night in the one night of freedom.
"If only we didn't have to go." Calum whispered as he pulled away, knowing he had to get ready for work.
"I know. We had fun last night though." I responded cheekily, his smile growing as he stepped out of bed and headed to the bathroom. I sighed disappointedly before I got ready, knowing it was probably going to be a while before we would get a chance to be like this again. The guys were going to be exhausted after this leg of the tour.
I got dressed quickly and after Calum had finished getting ready, we met the group by the reception to load everything into the van. We were heading to a different hotel before tonight's set, meaning we had to pack, move and unpack all before soundcheck in the middle of the day. It was going to be tough and exhausting.
As we wheeled our suitcases to the van, I noted Crystal in a beautiful crop top and long trousers, covering up the support stockings she was now wearing to make sure she didn't pass out again. She gave me a hug as soon as we got close enough.
"I see you took my advice!" I beamed, feeing accomplished. She nodded quickly.
"Of course! I don't ever want that to happen again!" Michael sidled up beside her and wrapped his arms around her.
"We definitely do not! Especially with the due date coming up so quickly!" He looked so proud and excited, it made my heart swell to listen to them talking about their baby.
"I know, I've never looked forward to October so much!" Crystal beamed, stroking her ever growing belly - and with only a few months to go, she was looking amazing.
"Please keep me updated!" I responded quickly. "Because whatever you go through I may have to go through too!" Luckily under my floaty tops and dresses people were yet to notice my ever so small baby bump, however with every pregnancy, there'd come a time where I physically couldn't hide it any more. Currently, I just looked like I was bloated but it would soon blossom into a huge beach ball. Crystal squealed with excitement.
"I can't believe it! Our kids will be like half a year apart! It's so exciting!" Once again she pulled me into a hug.
"I know! We've just got to survive the end of the tour first!" Michael laughed, nodding as he put a hand on my shoulder.
"You'll manage. As long as there is no more drama!" He gave it a reassuring squeeze before he and crystal headed into the van. Soon after, Sierra and Bex came into view, throwing their overpacked cases into the boot.
"Ready for another flight?" Sierra asked Bex who looked half asleep still. She merely let out a groan as a response, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hands.
"Late night?" I quizzed but Sierra caught my eye and wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. Oh, that kind of late night. We both grinned at Bex.
"Both of you shut up.." she clambered into the car alongside a very tired looking Ashton. Sierra continued to beam, loving the fact she could wind Bex up for the majority of the journey.
"How are you doing?" I asked her but the big smile faded slightly.
"My manager called, he wants me back to write more music soon." She sighed. "But with everyone else here, I just can't bring myself to go back alone. I wouldn't mind if someone else was with me but..." she shook her head.
"No, I get it. Can't you just write here and send it to him?" I asked, not quite sure how the whole process worked.
"He's hired someone to collaborate with. They fly in just for that. I can't bring myself to say I don't want that or look ungrateful." She looked to the floor, letting another sigh fall from her lips.
"What has Luke said?" I said, Sierra suddenly jumping to life and shushing me. Luke looked over at us, sure that he heard his name, and began to make his way over.
"I haven't said anything- Hi babe." She quickly changed her conversation the moment he arrived. He smiled so widely as he pulled her in, feeling at home with her in his arms. Little did he know she was due to go back soon. I hope I didn't slip up again like I did with crystal and her pregnancy.
