At first glance

With hair as golden as wheat fields in the spring, looking as if it was spun from pure gold and matching ocean blue eyes, it was hard to keep his eye off of her.

His vibrant green eyes followed her sleek form as her elegant movements flowed effortlesslt across the room, convaying with a multitude of guests with a voice so smooth and pleasant to the ears. Her head fell back as laughter shook her shoulders, making silk like strands of hair fall from its neat knot at the base of her neck.

He raked a hand through his raven hair, ebony sliding past his fingers as he mustered the courage to talk to the golden vixen. His normally sliver tongue felt like lead.

She met his gaze, her crystal blue eyes boring into his own as her lips moved to reply to a blatant question asked by the company she kept, but her gaze never left his.

With footsteps as light as a feather, he glided over to her; a new found confidence burning in his veins.

As she went to gestured with her hand, loki smoothing interlocked his fingers with hers.

"My my, you are stunning." He hummed, his voice proud and velvet like.

She raised a slender eyebrow, her lips tugging into a sly smirk. "Not quite the greeting I expected from the god of lies."

His heart skipped a beat, her words and eyes pressing him to dare tempt her.

"Not quite the words I expected from the goddess of kind."  He smirked, raisng her hand to his lips and gently placing a feather like kiss to her soft skin.

"I suppose we can skip the formalities and have a drink?" She offered, removing her hand from his grasp and grabbing two glasses of wine from a passing waiter.

He gratefully accepted the drink, taking a careful sip. "As you so obviously know my title, you must know my name?" He raised a brow, swirling the dark red liquid around in the brass goblet.

"Loki." She comfirmed, nodding. "And I can assume you know of mine?" She chuckled breathlesly, fingering the rim of her goblet, a lock of hair falling in front of her eyes.

"Lady Amber, if I'm correct?" He smiled coyly, gently stroking back the golden lock.

A light blush dusted her cheeks, but her confidence didn't  waver. "You are correct. I have to admit, I am surpirsed, how do you know of me?" She questioned, taking a delicate sip.

"My brother. He spoke of you after your brief  acquaintance with him." Loki smirked, mirroring her actions and taking another drink.

Her lips tugged into a half smile, stepping closer and pressing her lips to his cheek.

"Well, Loki, I shall hope to be seeing you again. Perhaps I should be attending your father's celebrations more often." She whispered quietly to him before she pulled away. With a flirtatious wink and a sly smile she left. Her words intending to be a goodbye, but her actions more beckoning then all the temptations in the world.
