Coupeville and Port Townsend

Since these two towns play a HUGE role in this story, I thought it might be fun to post some pictures of them for you all to get a better idea of the setting of this story. These are NOT my pictures. They all come from Google. But I am hoping to replace them this summer with pictures of my own. So stay tuned for that update in September.

This is a bird's eye view of the beautiful Coupeville, Washington.

Here is a cute little hiking trail that some of you may recognize.

Here is one of the beautiful Coupeville beaches not too far from Emersyn's house.

Speaking of Emersyn's house... this is a house I found on Google that I thought looked exactly like how I pictured the Collins house. I have no idea where it actually is, and I didn't see an address or anything. Not important. Just the look of it is what I'm picturing.

This next picture is the gorgeous Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve.

And for funsies, here are a couple pictures of Port Townsend as well. One of them you can see a certain lighthouse that is mentioned in a certain journal.

And there you have it! Coupeville and Port Townsend! The setting of this story. I hope this helps you all picture it. Honestly, I shared these pictures because I'm wholly convinced these are some of the most beautiful places in the country. And I am beyond excited to visit again this summer.
