Katie's P.O.V
After the incident, a lifeguard finally jumped into the pool and dragged Sadie out and started CPR. One of the students called nine one one, and the paramedics arrived at the scene. They hauled Sadie's body onto a gurney and wheeled her out the school and into an ambulance. We all watch through the pool windows. Sasha gets into the ambulance to along with Amelia. The ambulance drives off.  Everyone is staring out the window even after the ambulance has driven off. Someone behind us claps twice and we all turn around to see the principal, Ms. Haley. Her eyes are red and puffy, she clears her throat and says," students, because of this very unfortunate accident, every student will have a week off from school to mourn our classmate, starting today Monday. You may all call your parents to come pick you up. That is all"  All the girls rush into the locker room and start to change. I just stand there, staring out the window.  "Katie?" I turn around and a girl, I think her name is Sophie, says," you okay?". I nod and force words out of my mouth," yeah, yeah I'm fine, just shocked that's all" I smile lightly at her then head over to the locker room. The locker room is still the same loudness, except that loudness is made up of girls crying, some huddled together whispering.  Others aren't even doing anything, aren't showing any emotion for what just happened, like a death at school is just as normal as gossip about anything. I take off my swimsuit and wrap myself in my blue tower. I tuck it so that it stays on my body without me having to hold it. I open my locker, grab my swim bag and open it, ready to change into my regular clothes. When I zip my swim bag open, I'm met with an empty bag. I can't believe this. My clothes are gone.
