These past five days Jay had continuously tried calling Tom. But he didn't pick up. At all.

Meanwhile with Adrien, things got a bit too weird.

Like that time right after moving into Adrien's flat, he had hugged Jay from back and placed his chin on Jay's shoulder.

"Hey babe~" Adrien whispered seductively into Jay's ear.

"DUDE! WHAT DA FUG-!" Jay flinches and yells.

"HAHAHA! It's a bro thing, dude! It's cool stuff!"

"Whatever!" Jay rolls his eyes in annoyance.

Also that time when Adrien was cooking dinner and called Jay for grabbing an ingredient from the top shelf.

Adrien deliberately stood in front of Jay, circled his arms around his neck and stared a bit too much at his face.

"You are one handsome man..." He says casually.

"ADRI WHAT DA HAIL-!"

"I WAS JUST TEASING! duh!" He says as he carelessly walks away, leaving Jay shocked.

"What the freaking, flipping, fucking duck was that shi-!" Jayden thinks to himself.

Now, after talking to Mel, he hesitantly walked back to the apartment.

As soon as he entered the apartment, Amanda dramatically pours a bottle of water on him, pretending to sneeze.

Jayden clicks his tongue in annoyance and smiles at her.

"Awww! I'm sorry Mr. Holmes!" She says with fake sweetness, grinning ear to ear.

"Hehe... It's alright." Jay pretends and tries to escape her.

"By the way, Mr. Holmes! I just wanted to ask if you are 'comfortable' with the place you are residing in!"

She asks with a mocking innocence.

"Uh.. yes? I'm fine.. yeah!"

"I think we shouldn't bother Mr. Jones much, should we?" She says.

"He might be expecting you to reside there for mostly a week or something. But I don't think the plumbing work would be finished within atleast a month."

"The plumbers need to work, in order to complete the work.." Jay internally rolls his eyes.

"So?"

"I think you should preferably reside somewhere else for the time being."

Jayden, finally understanding her intention, says "Oh! Thanks a lot for the for the suggestion! I really needed it!"

He bows to her respectfully and rushes to the lift, leaving now space for her to talk more shi-

The next day he goes to the park, determined to approach the girl.

He sat on the bench. And checked his pockets for his notebook and pen.

"Shit! I forgot them."

Just then the puppy gramma Mel was playing with yesterday, approached Jay, wagging it's tail vigorously.

"Bro you got biscuit?"

"Nah bro."

"Yikes!"

"Wait what! You can talk?!"

Jayden gets startled by the talking puppy.

"Yeah bro. I can talk. I even got a driver's license."

"Dude, that's dope"

"Oh I know right! Like damn did ya believe that?! I have no idea how you understand me!"

"What do you mean? How come I understand you? You're speaking English!"

"I don't speak human. I speak Dog. You're speaking Doggese!"

"I think that somehow whatever we talk gets translated. I don't know how it's happening."

"Well, what's ya name homie?"

"I'm Jayden! What's yours?"

"I'm Tony.. Antony. Nice to meet ya dawg!"

"Nice meeting you too. And aren't you Gramma Mel's pup?"

"Nah bro, still ain't hers. Her children refuse to accept me"

"That's sad dude!"

"I know right? Alright homie! I gotta go. The park's beauty pup queen Tina's here. I gotta woo her. See ya later!"

"See ya bro!"

Jayden shakes his head in disbelief

Jayden waits for hours. Still no sight of the girl.

After searching every nook and corner of the park, he sighs heavily and sits on the bench.

Tony comes back to him with another cute puppy.

"Hey homie! This my girl Tina!"

"Hey Tina!"

"Wait! Tony! This human can speak Dog?" Tina asks, shocked.

"Yeah baby, he speaks dog!"

"I don't speak Dog. It's just whatever I'm speaking is transla-"

He's cut off by Tony

"Stop blabbering, dude. We dogs don't understand those stuff. Btw where's ya girl?"

"Which girl? Whom? I have no girl!"

"Dude! Don't lie to a dog, you'd get bitten. I can sense that you're lying"

"I don't know, dude. I've searched for her everywhere around the park. I'm planning to leave before the sun starts setting."

"Don't give up, homie! As an experienced dog to an inexperienced human, I say success never comes at day one. You gotta wait. I've been going behind Tina for like God knows when time."

"Thanks bro!"

"Well, at the end bro, I got bitch, you got none hahahaha!" Tony laughs as he runs away with Tina.

Jayden stays at the park for one more hour. She was no where to be found.

Disappointed, he leaves the park half heartedly after the sky started to darken.

The same happens the next day, Jayden waits the whole day for her. She wasn't there at all.

He returns back to Adrien's flat and sighs deeply.

"I thought I had a chance to talk to her. Seems like I don't."

Adrien settles next to Jay on the couch and pats his shoulder.

"You're in love, right?"

"Yeah"

"Who is it?"

"She's... I don't know, not even her name. I haven't even heard her voice. But I somehow love her."

"Are you starring in a melodramatic angst film or something? This is such a 80's themed love."

"It's like, I've been attracted to her even since I laid my eyes on her. I can't help myself to not look at her. My urge to go talk to her grew everyday. I shouldn't have hesitated."

"There's plenty of sea in the fish"

"You should shut up for good Adri."

"I know. If you want, you can date my twin sister. But she's soo ugly. You probably won't like her."

"You call your twin ugly? Doesn't that make you-"

"The better looking twin! I know! I'm soo handsome! I've got girls and guys drooling over my beauty!"

"Narcissism has a limit Adri... And you kinda crossed that."

"Narcissism? Nah that's modesty!"

Jayden rolls his eyes. He ignores Adrien's blabbering and walks away to the room to sleep.

"Gays these days... I mean guys these days!" Adrien sighs in annoyance and starts watching TV.
