Unintended Words From Him: Chapter 16

Kai started heading for the Chemestry lab. He went ahead of Ren to avoid his teases.

Kai himself does not know why. And Ren was correct: He was being so serious in their Music Project.

Ren would say that it's because of Tokura, but for Kai it isn't.

Why am I so affected?

Kai asked himself.

He just shrugged and continued walking to the chemestry lab.

When he entered the classroom, Kai sat beside Misaki. She was startled at first but then she just continued reading her book.

Kai sighed and tried to focus on the discussion on the board.

Soon enough, Chemestry was over. Kai and Ren headed for the Music room, with Ren singing their song.

"Could you please keep it down?!" Kai said.

"Nope. Never gonna happen." Ren smirked.

"Whatever..."

They entered the Music Room. Ren saw Misaki playing with her flute so he approached her. Kai followed him.

"Nice, Misa-ki!" Ren said and Misaki immediately stopped playing her flute.

"I told you, it's Misaki." She glared at Ren who smiled innocently.

"Anyways, up for some rounds of practice?" Misaki asked.

"Sure, no need to ask!" Ren said enthusiastically.

"Whatever..." Kai said. He then took out his notes and guitar.

Kai started playing but Misaki and Ren interrupted.

"You made it a C Sharp?" Ren asked.

"Why?" Kai said.

"Just make it a C Flat." Ren said.

"Don't you think it would be better if it was only C, not flat nor sharp?" Misaki interrupted them.

"Good Idea." Kai said and erased the sharp sign. Then he started playing again.

Ren sang the Chorus.

Soon when Ren was finished, Kai sang the Verses.

Misaki sang the bridge, hesitantly though.

When it was over, Misaki said something to them.

"I should stop singing the Bridge, it would be better if you two sang it together." She said but Kai interrupted her.

"No, don't stop. Your voice is beautiful. Like you." He said and Misaki froze.

Ren had a devious smirk on his face.

Kai also froze when he realized what he had said. He does not know where the words 'like you' came from.

Sht, Where did those words came from?! They were clearly unintended!

Kai cursed mentally and scolded himself. He saw the smirk on Ren's face.

"Ren, stop that. Tokura, it was unintended." He said and Misaki nodded.

But instead of stopping, Ren shouted.

"KAI HAS ADMITTED!!" Ren shouted causing Kai to bang his fist on his chair.

"I TOLD YOU IT WAS UNINTENDED! AND I BET EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOUR LITTLE CRUSH ON NARUMI!" Kai also shouted.

The two of them were glaring at each other, causing Misaki to stand up and stop them.

"BOTH OF YOU STOP! AREN'T YOU AWARE THAT WE ARE CAUSING A SCENE HERE?!" Misaki shouted.

"No, YOU SHUT UP SINCE YOU ARE NOT INVOLVED HERE!" Kai pushed her away.

"SH-T, I AM YOUR GROUPMATE SO I AM ALSO INVOLVED HERE!" Everybody stopped. That was the first time that they heard Misaki curse.

Meanwhile...

Asaka was reading her Algebra book. But she can't focus since there were shouts.

Damn, they're so noisy!

"I TOLD YOU IT WAS UNINTENDED! AND I BET EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOUR CRUSH ON NARUMI!"

Da hell?!

Asaka cussed but then she just continued reading.

"BOTH OF YOU STOP! AREN'T YOU AWARE THAT WE'RE MAKING A SCENE HERE?!" A familliar voice shouted.

Wait, that's Misa, right?!

She thought and bookmarked her book.

"No, YOU SHUT UP SINCE YOU ARE NOT INVOLVED HERE!"

Asaka kept her books faster.

"SH-T, I AM YOUR GROUPMATE SO I AM ALSO INVOLVED HERE!" Misaki sounded really mad here.

Damn, Misaki never curses unless she's really mad!

Asaka barged in the Music roo..

The Algebra room was just next to their room and they were still having the 5 minute allowance.

"Misa! I heard shouting so-WHAT THE HELL?!" Asaka also shouted when she saw the scene.

She pulled Misaki away from them and seperated the two guys.
