Marinette froze, her body stiff, "Felix?"
"Hello sweetie. It's good to see you again," Felix smirked, "Though, I like it better when you're not wearing anything."
Marinette turned around, pushing him backwards, "How are you here? Adrien's dead! How are you here?!"
"Awe princess, I'm afraid that's a question you'll never have an answer to," He smiled.
"Stay away from me! I will kill you," Marinette growled.
He chuckled, "The same way you killed Adrien?"
"Shut up!" Marinette screamed and ran away.
"See you around milady!" He laughed.
Marinette entered the classroom, everyone glared at her.
"Alya told us you killed Adrien. It's not true, right dudette?" Nino asked.
"Oh it's true. This little bitch killed him," Felix grinned as he pushed past her.
"See! Maritrash ruins everything!"
"You killed him!"
"I hate you!"
"How could you?!"
"Get away from us!"
Marinette's eyes filled with tears, as she ran out of the room.
She slammed her bedroom door and cried for hours. Only to fall asleep.
"Marinette. They want you to join me. Please come join me," Adrien pouted, laying next to her.
"I know they do Chaton. But I can't. Felix is back and I have to figure out his plans so I can protect Paris."
"But he's only after you. If you join me, I can protect you!" Adrien smiled.
"Awe you're so sweet, kitty. But I can't. Not just yet."
"Fine. But it better be soon. I miss you," Adrien kissed her cheek.
"I miss you too."
Marinette woke up, the morning light blinding her. "Oh Marinette! We thought you were dead! You didn't have your usual nightmare .. where you scream in the middle of the night. You actually slept soundly," Tikki hugged her holder's cheek.
"But he was still in it, telling me to join him. We were laying in my bed. It was ... peaceful," Marinette smiled to herself.
"Marinette?" Sabine called.
"Yes mama?" Marinette replied.
"You're going to be late for school!" She told her.
Marinette swiftly got ready for school and ran downstairs, "Bye Mama!."
She raced to the school and was greeted with cold stares. She stared at the floor and went to her seat. Felix had taken her old seat. And nobody spoke to her, not even to bully her. It was as if she didn't exist to them.
"Buggaboo, I'll be stopping by after school," Felix winked, "To finally finish what I started."
