"Marinette, please don't cry," Tikki pleaded.
"All I ever do is cry, Tikki. I'm just a mistake," Marinette hugged her knees.
"Oh Marinette, you're not a mistake," Tikki tried to comfort her.
"Adrien would want you to be happy, kiddo. He'd want you to move on," Plagg told her.
"How can I move on, when every time I close my eyes, I see him. Either trying to kill me, or forgiving me," Marinette cried.
"Trying to kill you?" Tikki asked.
"Telling me to kill myself. Telling me to join him." Marinette answered.
"Is he telling Ladybug, or telling Marinette?"
"Telling Marinette."
"Kiddo, that's not Adrien. First, Adrien would never have told you to do something like that. Second, Adrien never found out you were Ladybug." Plagg explained.
"You're right. I know you're right. It's just - even hearing his name, seeing him - " Marinette sobbed.
"Marinette!" The two kwamis hid, "Girl, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It's just - I miss my best friend."
"I miss mine too ... " Marinette sighed.
"What?" Alya was confused, Marinette never lost her.
"Adrien ... Chat Noir was my best friend," Marinette bit her lip.
Alya gave her a puzzled look, then shook her head, "What do you mean you killed him? It was Hawkmoth's fault."
"Did it ever occur to you that one who put him in the state where he could be akumatized is at fault?" Marinette seethed.
Alya took a step back, she's never seen Marinette like this.
"Fine. I guess you're right. You killed Adrien." Alya spun around and walked away.
Marinette gasped, she didn't want this. She didn't want to be blamed.
But her she was, being thrown out, by her best friend.
She stood up and began to exit the alley when a cold, husky voice whispered, "Hello again sweetheart. Did ya miss me?"
