"Hey Blossom!"

"Hm?" Blossom looked up from her book to see Bubbles standing in between the bookshelves waving at her.

"Want to go eat? We're all going!" Bubbles said cheerfully as her blonde curls bounced on her shoulders.

"Is Brick going?" Blossom asked as a dark look of disgust and hatred flashed on her face. She quickly shook her head and smiled at Bubbles.

The blonde nodded. "Yea! He's the one who invited us all!"

Blossom forced a smile and shook her head. "Then no." She then turned her head to read her book.

A few seconds later Blossom started to laugh, getting Bubbles' interest.

"I never understand what's so funny about books. What's happening?" She inquired as she walked towards her friend and sat down next to her.

Blossom smiled and lowered her book. "You see, there's this guy named Smith and he goes up to this girl named Grace and he says to her-"

"Hey Bubbles!! Are you coming?!"

Bubbles looked up to see Boonmer and stood up. She walked over to him and glomped him. "Hey Boomer! Yeah, I'm ready. But Blossom doesn't want to go!" she whined as she pointed at Blossom.

Blossom sighed and stood up, taking off her glasses and putting them inside of her sweater's pocket. She held the thick book under her arm and held Bubbles' hand. "Let's go." She said as she pulled her with her towards the librarian's desk. 

Bubbles looked behind her to look at Boomer and with her free hand motioned for him to come with them. She received a nod from him and giggled. "Hurry up Boomer!!"

"Why hello Blossom dear!! I see you're here today again! It's always nice to see you." The librarian said as she scanned the book and handed Blossom her receipt and library card back.

Blossom smiled and nodded, taking the book and her card. "Thank you Mrs. Johnson. I'm always delighted to see you as well." She shoved her card and receipt into her pocket and looked at Bubbles. "Come on." She waved at Mrs. Johnson and held Bubbles' hand again.

"So... you're coming with us?!" Bubbles asked hopefully as soon as they exited the library.

Blossom frowned and grimaced at the thought of being in the same room as Brick. "I've said it already. I will not under any circumstances go in the same room as that delinquent!"

"I'm not a delinquent Bloss."

Blossom internally groaned and her shoulders slumped. "Greeting Brick." She said through her gritted teeth. "How is your day?" I hope it's terrible so far.

"Not bad. You're going with us right Blossy?" Brick asked as he crossed his arms and smirked. "Why am I even asking you? Of course you're not coming!! You never go with us." Yes. She accept and then I'll be able to go and put the pill powder in her drink!

"Of course I'm not going! I can even stand looking at you!" Blossom said glaring at him and stormed off, her hair whipping Brick in the face.

"Blah!" Brick said as he rubbed his face and looked over at the blonde couple. "Let's go love birds."

"Hey Blossom!!"

"How was it?" Blossom said as she closed her book and set it on the table.

"It was nice. I missed you. You should come with us some day." Bubbles said smiling as she brighten up and walked out off the room. She came back a few seconds and handed her a drink.

Blossom accepted it and milked at her. "Thanks." She proceeded to drink it and nodded. "It's good. But tastes weird. Thanks for getting it for me."

Bubbles shook her head.

"Brick got it for you!!"
