"Y'know, cupcake, I can help fix this up for you if you can show me around a bit." He says as he leaned against the truck, "I'm not from around here as you can tell." He admits with a chuckle. And she could notice. He seemed to keep himself clean based on his clothes. He was really charming despite his mask. His hair styled back and well kept. But to (Y/n), he seemed a bit familiar. Like she's seen him somewhere before

     "I can tell." She says with a small smile as she took the lollipop out of her mouth, "You can fix a engine?"

     "Pumpkin, I'm a master at engineering. Tech wise." He claims with a smirk as he took a step closer to her, "Meaning, I'm really good with my hands." He says with a wink which causes her to blush.

     "Hm, alright." She hummed as she popped the lollipop back into her mouth, "Follow me, stranger. And I'll give you the grand tour."

     "How exciting." He says with a smirk, eyes looking over her body up and down as she led the way and he followed.

     "Well, welcome to the Sanctuary." She says, "This is the most safe place from everything."

     "From what?" He asks.

     "From Bandits, Hyperion, and Handsome Jack." She hummed as they walked side by side.

     "Oh really?" He asks with a brow arched and smirk, (Y/n) nods.

     "Yep. I heard that he's a real asshole." This causes him to frown.

     "Why do you say that, cupcake?"

     "Because he's done so many terrible things to my friends. And I hate him for that." She admits while looking at him. He looks at her with somewhat a sad look in his eyes. "Are you alright?" She asks which causes him to snap out of it and nod.

     "Yeah. Totally fine. How much do you know about him though?"

     "Well, I've only heard stories. And I just believe that he's a terrible person from everything I heard from my close friends." (Y/n) shrugs.

     "And who are these friends of yours, cupcake?" He asks with a frown. Before she could answer, the multiple sounds of clicks from guns are heard and they both turn around to see none other than the Crimson Raiders and Moxxi.

     "(Y/n), step away from that man." Roland orders as they all glared at him. She looks between him and them in confusion.

     "But why? What's going on?" She asks.

     "Because he's Handsome Jack, (Y/n). Now get away from him before he hurts you." Lilith orders as she glared hard at the man. (Y/n) looks up at him in shock and takes slow steps back.

     "Y-You're..." She murmured before he smirks at her and looks back at the group. It made sense, she remembered him now. She would occasionally see flyers of him hanging around here and there.

     "Yep, cupcake. I'm the Handsome Jack you oh so hate." He says with a smile and looking at the others, "Long time no see everyone. Especially you, Balloon Tits." He sneered at Moxxi, "Still fucking bandits in the back of alleyways?"

     "Don't talk to her like that!" Mordecai shouts at him and Jack puts his hands up in surrender and smiles.

     "Oh, feisty. Still mad that I tried to blow you guys up on that train or are you still mad she left you for me?" He mocked with a grin, causing Mordecai to growl at him.

     "Leave, Jack. And don't ever get close to (Y/n) or come back here." Lilith warned. Jack scoffed as he looked over at (Y/n).

     "I don't know about that. She seemed to be really into me not too long ago." He says as (Y/n) blushed and frowned.

    "Was not!" She protests.

     "That's not what your cute little flustered face told me." He hummed as she scoffed.

     "Asshole..." She grumbled and he laughs.

     "Oh, you're a cutie, cupcake. I'm surprised you haven't been snatched yet seeing you're on a shit planet surrounded by bandits." He says as Moxxi shoots a warning shot next to his foot.

     "Stop talking to her, you filthy scumbag. Don't even look at her." Moxxi growled at him and he rolls his eyes with a smirk.

     "Leave, Jack." Roland says with a hard glare, "This is your last warning."

     "You see, I could leave but then that would be bad news for you guys." He says with a chuckle, "If I leave, I could order my guys up there to blast this craphole away and kill all of you." He nudges his head towards (Y/n), "Even precious over there." He says causally and she gulps slightly, Moxxi's words repeating themselves in the back of her mind about her dying early. They're all quiet before Lilith clicks her tongue.

     "What do you want?" She growled. Jack emits a soft chuckle.

     "It's not about what I want. It's who I want." He says with a tilt of his head and glancing at (Y/n). Her eyes widen and she takes a step back. "You either give her to me and I'll let you all live. Or, you don't and I can leave and give them the okay. Choice is up to you, I'll be happy either way." He says with a smile. They all scowl and glare at him.

     "No, you're not taking her. She stays here and I won't allow her to go with a killer like you." Lilith says as she holds you close, "We promised to take care of her and you won't take her away from us." Jack smirks as he shrugged.

     "That's your choice." He turns and starts to walk off, "I hope you all don't make it out of here in time before I shoot a giant deadly laser down at you." He says. (Y/n) looked at him and them, tears brimming her eyes as she couldn't stand the thought of anyone in Sanctuary getting killed over this. Even the innocent who aren't even part of it all. This man was merciless and had no sympathy whatsoever. She hated him for that.

     "Wait." (Y/n) says and he stops walking, turning around to look at her with a smirk. Everyone looks at her as she stared hard at Jack. "Take me with you." She says, "Leave them alone and take me." She says shakily.

     "Ooh, cupcake here is being self sacrificing. How heart warming." He says with a wide and friendly smile. She knew it was fake, his whole facade was. She really hated him for that.

     "(Y/n), don't." Lilith says as she looks back at the siren.

     "I don't want you guys to die..." She says in a whisper as tears fall down. Lilith's eyes widen as she watched the tears fall, "Please." There's a long silence before Lilith sighs deeply and pulls (Y/n) into a hug.

     "Be careful, (Y/n)." Lilith says softly as she glared at Jack over her shoulder, "Send an ECHO once you get there. Got it?" She says as she pulled away to look at her. (Y/n) nods as she wiped her tears away and gave everyone else a hug. Lilith looks at Jack with a look that could kill, "If you hurt her in any way, expect us at your office doors to kill you." She hissed and Jack smirks.

      "Relax, I have everything under control." He says, "Feel free to send her stuff up anytime as well. I look forward to have her to keep me company, you made the right choice." Jack winks with a wolfish grin as Lilith glared at him. Jack chuckles as he walked in front of her, "Just so you know, interfere with my work, and she'll be the shining star on top of the Christmas tree when I have her pretty corpse hung in my office." He growled with a sneer before a toothy grin goes across his lips. Lilith clenches her fists tightly and grits her teeth, holding back the urge to punch that cocky smile off his mask.

     "And we'll be sure that the last thing you see is everything you worked hard for go to waste when we kill you." She hissed as Jack chuckles, leaning down so he's eye to eye with her.

     "Oh, I look forward to the day, kiddo." He says before standing up straight and looking over at (Y/n), "Alright, wrap it up, cupcake." He hollered as the girl glared back at him before turning back to Moxxi.

     "Are you sure you want to do this?" Moxxi asks worriedly, glancing at Jack and then at (Y/n), "Because this man is extremely dangerous. Way more dangerous than your regular bad guy who's considered dangerous here. He's killed thousands of people and he could so easily as to snap your neck without hesitation." She places her hands on both sides of her face. (Y/n) smiles softly and puts her hands over Moxxi's.

     "I'll be fine, I promise. I don't want any of you to die because of me." She says, sniffling as she tried to hold back tears, "Tell Ellie and Scooter that I'll miss them so much. And there's coffee in the truck that was supposed to be for Ellie and I, but make sure she gets them." (Y/n) lets out a breathy laugh as tears fell and looking to the others, "Thank you, guys. For everything. I'll send you an ECHO once I get there and I hope we'll see each other again soon." She says softly.

     "It's fine. Just take your time, y'know." Jack says sarcastically as she huffed in irritation. He was ruining the moment.

     "Don't die, sugar." Moxxi says while hugging (Y/n), who hugs back with a nod and hum.

     "I won't." They pull away and she looks back at Jack, grimacing and leaving Moxxi's arms to walk over to Jack.

     "Finally." He chuckles and smiling to the others, "Thanks, hope to never see any of you jackoffs  again!" He says before starting to walk off, (Y/n) sighs and gives them all one last small smile and wave before following after Jack. They both walked to his ship in silence, and upon getting onto the ship. She looks back at Sanctuary and the Dust one last time before stepping into the ship. The door closes and she follows Jack to the driver and passengers seats. They take off and the drive to Helios is  silent.
